the strengths of this resort are the green spaces that surround it, the very friendly staff, the activities for children; on the other hand I think that the quality of the proposed buffet is not up to par and that the prices to eat in the other restaurants of the hotel are exorbitant !!!

We had a pleasant stay at the Mazagan Beach resort, the hotel is clean, pleasant, well maintained, the exteriors are very beautiful, the rooms are warm, the staff very professional and friendly. The breakfast buffet was TOP. I take away a star, because I find that the dishes ordered at Restaurant Morjana are not worth their price at all (average quality and quantity).

The entrance security was thorough, so it was safer and the facilities and interior were clean and beautiful.
BE CAREFUL with what you keep in your hotel room. I had 600DH stolen from me, presumably by the cleaning crew. They had come into my hotel room twice in one day and after the second time they came into clean/restock items/fold my clothes, I noticed that my bag had been opened and that some of the cash I had stashed in my passport was missing.
Since I was staying at the hotel for a work conference (ALL American Language Center), we had workshops and meetings throughout the day and evening. So when I returned to my hotel room that night, that is when I noticed money was stolen.
The next morning I "reported" the theft (which was not much of a report or even a statement. In fact, an employee, supposedly in charge of security, just wrote down my room number and my phone number on the back of a business card). He told me to wait, and later another employee came to assist with translating. I told them that I expect them to know which of their employees were working/in charge of my particular hotel room. They really did not seem to care- why would they??- and did not put forth much effort into helping me. The employee said he would check the hallway security footage and do some investigative work (which I highly doubted). He told me he would call me in a couple hours, which was close to check-out time for me and all of my cohorts.
A couple of hours go by and another hour goes by and it is check-out time. I have to catch a bus to another city. So I see them on my way out and demand answers. They said to my face that they tried to call me. I said that that obviously was not the case, since I received no call (& why would I ignore a call that I'm expecting?). Then they tried to accuse me of partying the night before in another city and that, perhaps, I spent my money at a bar or club and forgot about it. I was really offended because that was not the case. I was with my colleagues at dinner AT the hotel resort. The bus was filling up and I had to leave. I told them to please call me if they discovered new information. Obviously they did not call.
So, alas, I'm doing the most that I can do, and that is write a poor, yet accurate, review in hopes that the owner will read this and decide to implement better customer service, hire more trustworthy employees, and credit me with 600DH.

The only complaint is the high prices for the buffets, plus you have to pay extra for table water and also review the quality of the buffet.
But we will be going back very soon.
