Beautiful museum! The building itself is a piece of art and the collection is just incredible. Spacious set up, great lighting, fine amenities, everything was perfect. The Rembrandt collection is very pretty also. I did not expect to see so many works of the Golden age masters together, the detail and the dark and light contrasts are lovely, very colourful also. Loved it.

This is a great place and it's even more great to times since you have to buy your ticket online and have to come to the exact time of your booking. There are no rows, there are no crowds. You have your private museum. You can walk through in 40 minutes and watching everything or you can stay there soundly viewing everything even sitting in front of a favourite picture and contemplating. The number of persons who can enter a room in the exhibition is limited but I was staying in several rooms only alone and could let act me the very rich sampling of genuine works. Of course the Girl with the Pearl Earring by Vermeer is the heart piece and signature painting here but my favourite picture is for example The Anatomy Lesson of Dr Nicolaes Tulp from the year 1632 - this painting has his a special and unique history related to the behaviors and uses that time - you can find some intetesting background details about it if you are searching for more.

A fantasticly beautiful piece of history filled with amazing art works from Dutch masters suchs as Rembrandt, Vermeer and Rubens. The architecture of the house is stunning and breaths history. The Mauritshuis is smack in the center of town surrounded by other beautiful landmarks. Worth a visit!

It is a precious museum where you can see the works of Rembrandt and Vermeer, which are not big.
If you are interested in Rembrandt and Vermeer, you can see many must-see works.
There is also a voice guidance so you can watch slowly.

A very nice but small museum (two floors, in total 16 different rooms). Entrance fee 15.50 and there is a convenient underground parking 1 minute away (always for a fee). By downloading the official app you can do the tour with audio by yourself!

A picture that I liked a lot, this time I finally saw the real thing! so excited! It s so beautiful, it s going to be sucked in. The standard brooch of the museum staff is also super like, it is too sad to not sell.

Amazing building in a beautiful and strategic location, even if you come by car. Can t comment on the selection, which is not exhaustive but representative enough. What I didn t like was the placement of some paintings, too high really. Optimization of space shouldn t sacrifice illumination and fruition of the pieces.

Lovely museum with an expansive collection of paintigs from the 15th to 18th century. Some landscape paintings could be put up a bit higher for the horizon in these paintings are hung a bit low to the eye

Chock full of all the famous Dutch paintings you have always heard of. It was so cool to finally see so many masterpieces in real life. It's an easy train ride from Amsterdam and definitely worth the trip.

Nice museum with lots of famous artists' paintings. It's never too crowded like other museums in the Netherlands and the size of it is perfect to spend an hour or so in it going by the paintings one by one.

Great staff! Very friendly and caring!

Great staff! Very friendly and caring!

Against expectations you don t take the front door in. Instead you go underground to move into the building from the basement.

The museum itself is a beautiful piece of Dutch history which deserves just as much of your appreciation as the art within it.
