First rate collection of Dutch old masters in a beautiful building.

Very beautiful museum with great and unique masterpieces

Amazing collection. Not a huge museum but every piece is special.

You can only get in if you have previously bought a ticket online.
There are no tickets to buy on site.
In the short term online everything was sold out ...

Well-kept museum works of the greatest from Vermeer to Bruegel from Rembrandt to Rubens. The museum is strangely not very popular perhaps because The Hague is less touristy than Amsterdam. To be seen.

Nice little museum with some really nice and famous paintings from Rembrandt and Vermeer. Home of Johannes Vermeer Girl with pearl earring. Really beautiful!!

I had been to the Maurotshuis and it was so much worth it. This museum contains the treasures of Dutch painting and it gives us a very nice picture of Holland in its yester years. It is easily accessible and located right next to the Parliament House which is another place where tourists visit. If you are in the Hague, please do not miss it.

A small spectacular museum that contains, among others, many masterpieces by Rembrandt and Vermeer. Unmissable!

Museum with a lot of paintings by great masters like Rubens, Vermeer, Rembrandt etc.

Not very crowded during a weekday so you can enjoy the paintings in detail from close up without the mobs trying to snap a picture of the exhibit, staff is very helpful and online app guide is more than enough to guide you through the exhibit. Enjoyed the Rembrandt and Vermeer art but do check out the other exhibits as well as some of them are really extraordinary!

i was impressed by giraffes. I couldn't expect us such number of giraffes in my country zoo. Very elegant walkers!!

Strict in respecting the spacing rules and the maximum number of people per room. I do not express myself on the works because people more competent than me have already done so.

Everything looks nice, but a trash in a pond looks bad and probably nobody clean. Some people drop inside a bottle or plastic bags. Everyone should care about world around us. If we are not to do this our next generation don t see anything. Save our world.

What can one say about one of the greatest museums in the world, lacking the word "museum" in its name? The place is small in scale, compared to the monstrous spaces, like the Prado or Louvre. But OMG. "Girl With the Pearl Earing"? To come to Holland and miss seeing such an exquisite object is truly denying yourself a huge benefit of your presence in this wonderful country. Do yourself a favor. Come to the Mauritshuis. See this and the other Vermeers, and the other Dutch old masters --- take the time to look at the jewel-like floral paintings which really dazzled me.
