Very beautiful paintings. Especially with someone who can explain. So that you learn to recognize the symbolism and more small details. Well worth the effort. Try to find the quiet moments. For example, the last two and half hours before closing time. Then you don't have whole groups in front of you.

I went there this time to see the special collection from the UK; very nice.
Previously viewed the permanent collection; definitely worth it. The building itself is already a party for those who love history, look around and take the time to experience the Mauritshuis.

Okay, I just hope they double more pictures to the application because you barely have a couple per room, for the 15 euros of the ticket we expected it to be a complete audio guide as it is in other languages.
The light despite being dim is direct to the pictures and I doubt that it is beneficial in the long term.
The security guards did not do their job and I had to ask myself several people not to touch the pictures.
The second building is a gallery full of paintings, they should change their location so they can see them quietly.

A place where we can almost touch the greatest works of the Flemish masters, such as the famous Girl with a Pearl, a painting by the Dutch painter Jan Vermeer or the famous Rembrandt Anatomy Lesson. You can shoot freely (of course without a flash) !!

The Mauritshuis makes me relax. It is very suitable for people who love art and stories. Old paintings certainly have a lot of story. In addition to the girl with the pearl (pictured below) by Johannes Vermeer, the Mauritshuis has a few other masterpieces from the Golden Age period, including De Stier by Paulus Potter and the Goldfinch by Carel Fabritius. Donna Tartt used this last painting as inspiration for her novel The Goldfinch, which was also filmed. In this way an art form can lead to new art forms of inspiration. The Mauritshuis also has a museum shop that you can easily visit. You see it at the end of the main hall when you enter, so you don't have to go to the museum.

Some of paintings are nice, the building is amazing itself. The most popular ones are the Bull of Paulus Potter, girl with a pearl earring of johannes Vermeer and self-portrait of Rembrandt.

Honestly, museum looks different from others. I think I can call it a private collection more, than an art gallery. The tickets for under 19 are free, but it's better to have an ID card with yourself. As I understood it, with ticket you buy there, it's possible to visit another museum as well. This opportunity ends 30 days after a purchasing. That's actually pretty good, because you can get 2 museums in a price of one.
I think the most popular painting there - "Het meisje met de parel" (you should search that), but you should totally see Rembrandt collection as well. There is a famous painting "De anatomische les van Dr. Nicolaes Tulp" is located on the same floor as first one.
Remember- you can't bring your drink upstairs, in case you didnt know that)

The original of the most beautiful picture in the world can be seen here. Vermeer unfortunately only 2 more pictures. Rembrandt fans are better served here. There is even a Mauritshuis app. Highly recommended.
