The building is very beautiful, the interior hall is very majestic, and it is very comfortable to see the river and the square from the room of the painting. Famous painters include Lin Bran, Vermeer, Rubens, and the download app has free audio guides.

It was indeed a shame, as the lady below said, that we were asked at 5.59 pm to leave the Mauritshuis which closed at 6 pm. Security officers who do their work and first of all kindly ask people to leave the building, given the closing time, is also not possible. Fortunately, free entertainment was given outside the Mauritshuis by looking at people who think the world revolves around them and museums (and especially security guards) would have an influence on the weather. Walking 10 meters in the rain is really not possible if you have paid an entrance fee for this museum. With an entrance ticket, of course, nice weather for the rest of the day is also included. Furthermore, top facilities and very friendly staff, thanks! :)
With the audio guide or directly with the app on the smartphone, you can enjoy the exhibition in peace, free Wi-Fi is available. The audio guide is available in many languages though not always complete.
Very lovely museum with a nice variety of Dutch and Flemish artists including some of their most notable works. Besides the wonderful selection of art the museum itself is worthy of a visit being built in the 1600's.
April 2018: For someone with fear of heights, the glass entrance with the glass elevator is no fun, but once inside there are fortunately (closed) stairs and a beautiful collection of art. The surroundings are also museums.
Beautiful historical museum with famous works of famous old masters. Of course you must have seen the girl with the pearl, although I found it a bit fainter in real life than in many reproductions.
Dont miss it, no matter you love art or not. Simply preparations of knowledge and masterpiece existed will rich your visit. Visitor not so crowd and close to different restaurants. Walk through the shop attached if u like the paint
The museum itself is luxurious and beautiful building. Red walls in the hallway are impressive and silk wallpapers in the room are well matched with paintings.
Wonderful museum; not only the art but also the building is beautiful. Facilities such as toilet, parking and shop also fine. Can you also drink coffee there? I didn't notice. That is also the only downside; I found the signage difficult. You stand in the hall, and where do you have to go? If you ask, you will be well helped, but a good design will help you to feel intuitively what the intention is. We also listened to a few during tours for other groups; that will deepen your knowledge and insight!
Very nice museum, with great, significant exhibits. The whole atmosphere is magnificent. In a few places the exposure was unfavorable or pictures hung too high, which should not prevent one from visiting. It was a nice museum visit.
Fairly museum with valuable works by Flemish painters, it has a medium-small collection with only 16 rooms distributed over 2 floors. Sliding row x the visit even if the small rooms tend to have little space to admire the works.
Magnificent museum. A good trip of 400 years to the country of the greatest Dutch painters. A stone's throw from the magnificent (also) hotel des indes.
Superb collection of Dutch masters whose works are displayed in historically important and charming Mauritshuis Palace... Go early to avoid the often large groups visiting from every corner of the planet. A not so hidden gem... But well worth a visit!
It was a wonderful experience to walk through the Mauritshuis. The building and the rooms are beautiful to see. The paintings themselves were of course beautiful and well placed in an intimate atmosphere. The location was easy to find as well as the facilities inside (toilet, souvenir shop etc). The entrance is very modern and spacious and the staff is helpful.
To see but be careful when taking the phone app the vast majority of the explanations of the paintings are only given in English. I still think it's a scam for explanations in French
Courteous, modern and an important place where our national history is preserved. The audio guide that you can download as an app on your smartphone is definitely worth it!
It was a very nice exhibition. Nice also that you look at the turret and the court pond. It is a pity that the statue of Maurice has been removed. Very weird.
