A small but very fine museum that everyone should have visited that the old Dutch master loves.
It is very positive that there is also an app parallel to the exhibition, in which the pictures are presented again in detail. At the same time, the app can also be used as an audio guide.
The pictures themselves are arranged thematically, but you can get very close to them for a museum.
It is also nice that pictures can be taken for private use.

Very nice to walk through. Even for those who are not so familiar with art, major works can be recognized. However, many students during the week who do not always behave in a civilized way. Fortunately, security is paying attention.

Wonderful museum. Cozy, small, with friendly staff. Those who love the Golden Age of Dutch painting will enjoy it immensely. Frans Hals, Jan Vermeer, Peter Claes, Jan Steen, Peter de Hoch. And, of course, Rembrandt! Highly recommend!

Beautiful, well-arranged collection. Beautifully exhibited

Amazing building, almost eclipses the art. Good selection of mainly Dutch art. A number of Rembrandt's and Vermeer's- Girl with a pearl earring, which is smaller than I imagined but beautiful nevertheless. The Hague was more interesting than I thought it would be. Good selection of shops and eating places.

Vermeer, Fabricius and many other magic. There is a great herring near the pond :-)

Very nice if your kids are interested in art. Our 2 girls love to draw and paint.
We were there 2:30 pm.
Told the kids would like to go to the workshop .... do it first? Or can we walk the route with them first.

15:45 to the workshop. Unfortunately, you can no longer participate. We close at 4:00 PM. Kids very disappointed. Drove 1,5 hours and were so looking forward to this !!

Recommended, beautiful museum with beautiful collection

Excellent museum! Relatively small, but with an exquisite collection, with works of great masters!

Museum that is worth seeing only for the famous painting "the girl with a pearl earring", for the rest, a few important pieces for the price paid.

Beautiful tour and beautiful paintings. It was also well taken care of with drinks and snacks on 14 February. Special evening.

First time in a museum like this. And i actually loved it.

Beautiful museum in a special location next to the Binnenhof (the tower). Beautiful varied collection exhibited in a great building. Even if you are not such an art and culture freak you are well worth a visit.

BIg town house from the seventieth century that was the residence of a former governor and count. Now a museum filled with paintings of famous Dutch paintings like Frans Hals, Rembrandt and others. Pleasant vibe, nice people working there. Do not be surprised when another admirer offers to show you the museum.

Beautiful museum with very attractive temporary Rembrandt collection

Mauritshuis is one of the worlds finest art museum's. Particularly beautiful works by Johannes Vermeer and many Dutch Golden Age paintings. An awe inspiring place.

Beautiful museum with many paintings from the Golden Age. One of the toppers is of course 'the girl with the pearl' by Johannes Vermeer. Beautiful and extensive museum shop. The Mauritshuis can easily be combined with a visit to the Binnenhof. You can park in the parking garage Plein in 2 minutes.

A must see ! You will see the girl with the pearl as well as other Vermeer, Relbrandt, .... Superb !!!!!!

Good collection to give you a picture of the beautiful art of painting from the Golden Age. Flemish and Dutch masters are well represented with their masterpieces.

1 downside for the huge crowds, the museum is not really designed for this.

Small museum but with a nice collection, very usable. A bit expensive for the size, but the under-18s come for free, so for families it's ok.

The work of Johannes Vermeer is a place where you can see a girl wearing a pearl earring. You can also see works of Mauric Subson who were dispatched to the Brazilian colony. And it is where the works bought from the exploited money are displayed. There was a curse inside.

Very nice collection and nicely decorated rooms. A bit pricey for only two floors.

Very pretty museum. I went specifically for a Rembrandt tour so didn t see the whole museum. But, from what I saw it s a pretty place with many beautiful works of art.

Because in this place no more people's leave and their are different types of animals.

Museum with a lot of very interesting pictures, a very nice building

I went to see "Girl with Pearl Earrings" because I like Vermeer, but the collection is generally good. The exhibition hall is small, so if you do not watch it carefully, you can watch it for two hours.
I got a student discount at 12.50 euros and I do not have to borrow an audio guide because I have a good app. And a girl with a pearl earring selling at a museum shop is a little expensive (32.95 euros), but it is very pretty.

Use the free downloadable app to look around for 3 hours in this museum with a beautiful collection. The background information came in handy because I am not a connoisseur in the field of the Golden Age.

It is a compact but very nice museum. I recommend it.

The collection really doesn't need my five stars, it would be preposterous to try to give it a rate. The stars are from my personal experience every time I visit this relatively small museum housing so many masterpieces under one single roof. It can be overwhelming, in a delightful way.
My favourite painting is Vermeer's View of Delft, which hangs opposite the much more popular Girl with a Pearl Earring. Please do take a few minutes to admire what is perhaps the best cityscape ever painted (and one of Proust's favourite works of art).

It is the best for Veermer fans. The girl with the pearl earring is wonderful. Excellent app on the cell. X follow the visit with explanations.

On the side of the Old Town Hall in The Hague, most of the works of this museum are the fine collection of European oil paintings from the 15th and 16th centuries, which are well worth visiting.

Smaller museum, must see collection. Classical paintings. No modetn art. Largely dutch-based painters.

The museum is spectacular, Rembrant, Rubens, Verem ...
They allow photos without flash. It has an app that you can listen to the description of most of the paintings in Spanish.

Very special paintings, but I don't like them very much, that is my taste, but if you like paintings like this you will certainly appreciate it. The souvenir shop is very expensive to buy something there, is also to be expected.

A must see for the visitor of hague, great works of art, read also about the history of the building, you will understanf some of colonial history and the change of power from traditional aristocracy to trade wealth power, the location next to Royal family palace has a symbolism too

Great museum with some beautiful pieces of art. The layout of the building is great and we didn t have to wait long to get in. The free audio (and text) tour via the Mauritshuis app makes this a 5 star experience.

The best museum of art in Holland, with some of the most fascinating works of Dutch and Flemish painting. Not to be missed!
