The last time that I had used an international sim card in London was disastrous. I was using my Vodafone number internationally. Obvioulsy paid a bomb, so this time decided to use a prepaid matrix sim card. I was surprised to see full network throughout, clear calls and not network glitches in data also. Prepaid was an additional benefit. Matrix Sims, definitely worth the money spent.
This is a fraud company. They stole my money. I ordered a sim card and never received it, neither have i got a refund . And now they are asking me to contact my bank for a refund
Used a matrix sim card mainly for local calling in Thailand and it was a good experience overall. Everything was good, we could connect to India so easily with no issues. It was good.
Don't buy matrix sim services.They took money,then forget you .No one at customer care picks phone,no one guides you.Even after two days sim purchased from them was not activated,I mailed them so many times. Customer care service is pathetic.They didn't know about if sim will work or not.You are at their mercy. We have to face endless issues in traveling to suburb in Switzerland as we didn't have any working network and internet.They just want to get your money, cheat you and leave you on your own in foreign land.Worst is they don't want to admit their wrongs and issue a refund
I used matrix sim while traveling to Bali, expericenced a grate service, overall the network coverage was very good and data streaming was very smooth. loved the service of Matrix Celluar alwasys kept me connected with my loved ones from home.

I had gone to Hong Kong for an onsite project from my company side. I was carrying a Matrix sim card provided to me by my company. Matrix was such a relief as i could access my mails, make calls, etc without any hiccups! Really good for international travel. One thumbs up!
I am not giving any star. But minimum possible is one so one has to be given.
Its a careless company without any coordination between sales and other team members. I used the phone for one week while in canada.
1. They (sales agent) do not sign any agreement while giving the plan. They will show some good plan and when online agreement on email comes with other plan.
2. I and my collegue applied for two separate SIM with phones with separate names. What we got was both bills with only one name.
3. My collegue did not accept the plan offered on email and did not switch ON the mobile in whole journey still he received the full bill. We communicated with Matrix throughout the journey and could not resolove issue. Agent, Customer Support and later billing were having difference information and thoughts.
Billing were quite fast to deduct money from credit card without intimation to us.
4. The bill comes in two parts one is rental and other is based on usage. In the first bill it does not mention what the plan was and the breakup of tax etc is missing.
What can i say about matrix international sim cards. The best that i ever used for my travels abroad. No hidden costs anywhere, the staff clearly attends to the standing instructions of using the cc for just security reasons and seriously affordable plans. Overall the only best option available.........
I opted for Matrix sim card for Japan and it was a wise choice. Not only was i guided properly by the sales guy about using a 3g phone in japan, but also the services and network connectivity was great. !! Keep up the good work guys! I was in a way glad that I was carrying a local sim card from India before I was traveling to England. My brother had asked me to get a matrix sim card for the tiem that I was visiting him there. Since he had used it during his business trips, he was sure that I was going to be in good hands. I think it was a right decision that I carried it. I could easily call my brother once I landed. There were no issues regarding international roaming and their hefty charges. The network services were really good. Alll in all, it s a good deal.
A bunch of friends and i were travelling to Dubai and we bought a Dubai international card from matrix at the airport. We basically just wanted to use the phone for data and some calls. Must say that not only their voice clarity, but VAS are equally good. Would definitely recommend it to others as well !!
They trick you into buying a 1 year valid sim card and ask you to make a call atleast once a month. You cannot make a call, as sim does not work in India. So, they expect you to be out of india for a year. If you want to make 2 trips and they are couple of months apart, you cannot use sim on second trip, as your sim is already invalid and international number is assigned to someone else.
Plus their SIM do not auto connect to networks, someone like our parents has to manually do the same. Once my parents were out of India in Europe, it was hard for them to try and connect to every network. Matrix SIM was literally useless at that time.
Use your money wisely on other phone services.
I was travelling to US for convention with four other representatives and our office got us all a matrix international sim card each. Infact one of my colleagues even got a phone from them since his phone wouldn t have worked there. Must say that all our voice and data needs were well taken care of. Not only that i must appreciate the sales rep who delivered all the sim cards and the phone on such a short notice. Thanks team Matrix !

I would rather say that I experienced a Matrix Sim Card than just use it. I rented their services for UK and they were very good. Actually they were better than the usual airtel sim card that I have always used. The services offered at the cost of Rs 3000/- was a steal deal. Close to 5GB free data and free call back minutes to India, all bundled in one sim card. It was way better than me spending thrice as much on my Airtel number everytime I travel.

My views about customer care executives and services were all changed when i contacted Matrix cellular s customer service centre. What a backend team that s clearing running the show. I had some issues with my sim card in Singapore said unregistered. I had called up the customer care to take their instead, instead the lad who atteneded my call surprised me saying he will have someone from their local office attend me and give me a new sim card instead. And someone sure did meet me !! Amazing Matrix guys...........

On my honeymoon, we went for a complete tour of Europe and my mom's biggest worry was how would i stay connected to them. My husband was worried that with multiple sim cards it would become to costly! A friend told us about Matrix we checked for the SIM we got a single SIM which we used across Europe for 16 days. I must say that was the best discovery we had! It was a single card which could be used in multiple places plus since it was pre-paid we could decide the amount, Along with that it had free incoming calls so my mom was able to relax back home while we enjoyed Europe :)

I was going to Singapore with 2 other of my associates and we were all given a Matrix International Sim Card each. There was no option of not taking the number but the idea of having my own Singapore number, even before I got there was really exciting. I mean I had shared it with all my friends and my parents as well, you know in case of an emergency. Also because, we were there to audit the client s project, it was really important for us to have good network and data as well. With Matrix everything was taken care of.. Thank you Matrix for uninterrupted services for those 3 months. Much appreciate the convenience.
The most idiotic of the whole cellular network . Got a European sim but it doesn't worked for whole 1 month .. Mailed them but no reply.

I have used almost all the international sim card options available in Delhi and found Matrix Sim Cards to be a clear winner in the race. I used a matrix sim card while i was traveling to UK. Although i did not face any issues with the network there, my only problem was the bill which was charged for wrong dates. Before i could contact them, the guy who got me the number contacted me and apologised for this mess up and got it corrected. Really appreciate the honesty and customer service that Matrix gives. Took a matrix sim card on a colleague s recommendation. Used it in London. Full marks on their network services. Not even a single issue with making calls locally or back home in Delhi. Flawless. Plus their plans for London are really awesome. Just by paying close to 3500 Rs I got unlimited calls to India. Had I used my Airtel number, I would have paid thrice the amount!

I was the unfortunate to come across the International SIM providers like Matrix Cellular International Private Limited. I was travelling to Dubai on a pleasure trip only for a short duration of five days. I foolishly approached the stall of Matrix Cellular International Private Limited on Shivaji Chjatrapati International Airport Mumbai and asked him for a PRE-PAID SIM for the use in my journey period. But the fellow , one Mr. Vivek Prajapati was smart enough to hand me over POST-PAID SIM. after taking the advantage of the hurry I was in, he took signatures on his application forms and while I asked him about the price, he simply (?) told me that it will be taken care by your credit card. He also took all the details of my credit card alongwith CVV. He bluntly informed me that you have been given a free talk time worth Rs. five Hundred with that SIM as a token. He also told me that I would receive the bill of those charges on my e mail and need not pay anything now.
I was satisfied as anybody could have been.
Just to utilize the free talk time I made two three calls.
After returning to India, I was called by Matrix Cellular International Private Limited and was asked to return the SIM to their nearest Mumbai office. This was a new experience for me because, till date none of the mobile service providers had asked to return SIM.
As I was not in Mumbai, I had to courier them the SIM and meanwhile I requested Matrix Cellular International Private Limited to discontinue my account with them so as to avoid further billing. I was NOT RESPONDED at all.
After eight days, I received a hell like shock when I received their bill for Rs. 5600/- for four calls I made. I again persuaded with them to acknowledge the receipt of the SIM and discontinuation of the account but instead of any response, One fine morning I received a SMS fro my CC provider that the amount of Rs. 5600 has been debited .It was hell of a shock.
So I conclude to say that it is the worst cellular service providers who promise you some thing and fetches money from your pocket deceitfully.
I was in Malaysia with my friends and i thank my stars that i was connected back home with a matrix sim card. Had i not used matrix, i wouldn t have known about my sister getting fixed to be married in a few months. I guess i celebrated thrice that day!! I have to share my experience of using a matrix international sim card in the States. I wasn t very sure if I should go ahead with matrix sim or just bill my indian number heavily. Nevetheless I thought I wuld interact with the sales representative first, to finally decide.. When he got to my office, Anuj first tried to understand my purpose of the sim card and the Forex which I was in need, and then explained all the tariffs they had and what would suit my needs the best. He Explained me an amazing offer where i got my SIM connection absolutely free when I brought the FOREX from them which was brilliant this was some FOREX COMBO PLAN. My sim and Forex got delivered 3 days in advance my trip after the documentation and it was very convenient to use it to make calls. Good user experience overall.
Never fall into their trap. They gave two SIM cards for Malaysia and Singapore for a 10 day trip, neither worked despite all efforts. Not a single call was made, no data or message could be sent. Yet there are two separate charges of Rs 1307 and Rs 1473 on the credit card, even after explaining everything to their representative who came to collect the SIM cards on return to India. Their rep is not answering his phone now.
I had recently travelled to UK and i was so glad that i was able to use my phone to call my friends as soon as i landed there..i was really amazed by the matrix cellular service as it made my job easier without making me roam around for the sim card in a new place where i had travelled for the first time.. and it was really helpful as my family was also able to reach me to make sure i have reached safe..so i highly recommend people to make use of this service..
Matrix sim works in Singapore..Its working fine and i got the network on the airport it self.There was a mobile data connection issue , that was corrected by the matrix customer service.
I bought the sim at Chennai airport and the guy (Yogesh) gave a brilliant service.He assisted me to open an account and he gave his number for contacting for any issue and he was helping to raise a ticket with the customer care for the data connection issue..
Scared by the negative reviews, but matrix and their customer services are quite good. need to support these companies to grow so that Indian traveler can get proper communication facilities to their families when they outside..
