I was in a way glad that I was carrying a local sim card from India before I was traveling to England. My brother had asked me to get a matrix sim card for the tiem that I was visiting him there. Since he had used it during his business trips, he was sure that I was going to be in good hands. I think it was a right decision that I carried it. I could easily call my brother once I landed. There were no issues regarding international roaming and their hefty charges. The network services were really good. Alll in all, it s a good deal.
