Returned to Mash lately, working on the Waitrose contract, and Scott and Victoria have made it a pleasure. Always available and responsive I know they have my back.
Got the job for one of their campaigns. The training was supposed to be in London and I live up North. Mash knew that and have assured me several times by phone and email that they will book any travelling tickets and accommodation for the training in London. Was sent an email to confirm where I'd be travelling from and no response whatsoever after that. They could have at least let me know I'm no longer part of the campaign instead of leave me hanging on for something that wasn't going to happen in the first place. Shame because I genuinely thought they would be a great company since they're so highly rated on Google. Obviously that's not the case. Extremely disappointing experience. Seems like a scam company. Would avoid getting involved if I could go back in time.
I have dealt with and worked with Mash Staffing since 2007. They have given me a platform to work with some fantastic clients, on a range of great marketing campaigns over the years. Most recently I have worked with Mash (Hema) & Lavazza UK to site manage at Wimbledon 2018. This is just one example of an experience that I have been fortunate to have, as a result of working with Mash Staffing.
The only agency I'll work with. Brilliant, proactive and friendly staff on fantastic campaigns. Particularly great experiences in dealing with Hema and Isabel for Lavazza promotions and Carrie for sporting brands.

I have worked for the Mash (the Corporate Team in particular) for 9 months now and I can honestly say they are a lovely promotional staff/hostess agency to work for. They provide a wide range of work on a regular basis, have a simple and easy shift sign up process and provide great support for their employees. All the staff within the main office are very welcoming and friendly and always make sure their field staff are happy with all aspects regarding an upcoming shift.
I have worked for many promo agencies and Mash are one of the best to work for. Any issues with work are usually dealt with in a professional manner, and unlike some agencies, I do feel like they listen to, and will act (where possible), on feedback from their Brand Ambassadors. They Furloghed many of their staff during the first 3 months of the Covid-19 epidemic which I was extremely grateful for. They kept me up to date with some jobs which had to be cancelled because of this.
The casting went swiftly and the ladies holding the casting were very friendly and welcoming! Very enjoyable experience

This agency are racist, bad at communication and do not care at all about their workers. They see them as disposable. I was told several times that working for mash would be futile unless I knew a booker there but still joined them. Found it a little difficult to book jobs, find anyone to actually talk to as they were all 'busy' but would return calls or emails.
I know several people who they had booked weeks in advanced and just cancelled their jobs last minute. In fact one girl whose job they cancelled without even telling her. I've had jobs cancelled literally hours before.
They lie about clients feedback when really it's bookers friends who think they're high and mighty reporting to them. It's not worth it. Especially the corporate team.
To excel at this company you need to be just as fake and into drugs as those at the top or ignorant and able to turn a blind eye and allowing them to push you around. Most importantly you must be white or very light skinned

I have worked for mash for 6 years now and right from the start they have been by far the best staffing agency out there! They have a variety of work for leading brands, both experiential and corporate and they are always jobs i enjoy and i am proud to be a part of. The talent team take great pride in selecting the right mashers for their books which ultimately results in great team members on each and every campaign. Mash have given me the tools and training to become an Event Manager over the past few years as well as additional training such as first aid. The Account managers are friendly, efficient and do an incredible job. From the booking process right through to the live events everything runs seamlessly when working for mash!

I ve worked and managed at major sporting events, art and culture fairs, country fair s and have travelled the country at the same time. I still remember when I got my first work, Bi-lingual (I am Korean) receptionist for the Samsung mobile launch in August 2016 from Mash through Adam Higgs, then the account manager, who helped open another door for me in life. Until then I had only been working as a freelance interpreter and teacher.
So far it has been GREAT as I ve learnt a lot working in different environments meeting very interesting and nice people as Host and BA with the help from them who are absolutely professional and very kind / considerate - IMPRESSIVE service to me especially considering their busy work schedule.
Work at Kensington Palace has been very nice - very friendly staff there and nice Mashers and learning opportunity as well in some personal aspects.
As long as you work well with good work ethic, you will get more than you could expect from them.

Working for Mash was one of my best decisions. I have been working in events and promotions for about 4 or 5 years now and have only just worked my first job for Mash - and wish I had done sooner! The staff were all really lovely and friendly and the girls I worked with were great. There is always some great roles posted on the job site and I will definitely be applying for more jobs going forwards. The day itself was great, we had a lot of fun and the client was really nice too! I would recommend becoming a Masher for anyone who is looking to further their promotional experience, you won't regret it!

Becoming a Masher was one of the best things that happened to me, I really enjoy socialising with people at the corporate events & have met some really good friends through some of the events I have promoted. Mash Staffing were always very professional with me and were always just a phone call away. I really loved the wide range of roles offered to mashers, from high profile corporate product launches to in-store marketing and surveys and they check you're suitable for the job first.
If you're interested in work in promotional events or advertising in general I would really recommend signing up as a Masher! Its an easy process and Mash (and Katie) really try to makes sure you're comfortable with what you have to do.

Mash have been a great company to work for and I ve worked at some really fun events at exciting venues and have met so many interesting people. The bookers are upbeat and friendly and it s been great getting jobs through some of them, including the lovely Lavazza jobs Hema and Isabel oversee which I am working on this summer.
Having seen both sides of Mash's operations I can confirm that they are without a doubt the best staffing agency to work for. Even with a book of thousands of staffers, they know their team members as individuals and by name. I had an awful experience with this staffing agency, the story is so long I'd rather not go in too much detail, but long story short, having to quit my previous job to start a new one via Mash Staffing and then because of a silly mistake I got dismissed, despite the interest and passion I've shown, I got the same 3 cold hearted "no".
Maybe that's how Human Resources works, or they didn't like me.
Conclusion, this is a personal experience and it won't be the same for everyone.
