This is a great site to visit when you're in Atlanta I really enjoyed myself me and my family wanted to do the house tour but by the time we got to the house it was closed for the day. We went on a Friday and they close the house tour at 4 p.m. but other than that this was a great visit.

It takes you back to the 1950s and imagining that Dr. King's house was the best house on the road, you realize that we never value what we have. A great childhood story is told by a forest police officer, but you must get tickets on the other corner.

Wonderful and moving experience. An excellent snap shot of historical events surrounding the life of the late Rev. Martin Luther King Jr and others which played an intricate part in the Civil Rights movement.

Wow! The information and how it was presented really got to me. I thought I knew the history of MLK, but my knowledge was minimal compared to what I learned that day. Worth every minute of your time to visit!

The MLK Jr. National Historic Site is one of the places, like Ellis Island, that every American needs to see. We must understand the events of our past in order to understand the causes of our present discontents. The history of the Civil Rights movement is covered, ranging over arcs of time from slavery, to the lynching era, to the "Jim Crow" laws, to the Freedom Riders, to the March on Washington, to the present day struggles by many Americans for simple recognition and respect. Dr. King's soaring oratory is contrasted with his tactical leadership, as told in first-hand accounts by the leaders of the Civil Rights movement. One leaves with a better understanding of the issues and violence that the Civil Rights activists faced as they sought to form a "more perfect union."

This was a great experience for me and my family. Visiting here never gets old. My wife and I wanted our teen sons to have this experience and they enjoyed it as well! Excellent history! God bless Dr. King s legacy!

I was blessed to see and learn so much. It reinforced what I already knew. Civil Rights can only be won when we realize that the gospel of Christ preached and Godly men and women of all nationalities join hands nothing is impossible.

Very cool place to just go and walk around and get to remember the importance of this wonderful man through visuals. If you're in Atlanta you must stop here. I wish I had more time to go through his home and I bet I would've loved it even more.

This is a must see in Atlanta. I learned a great deal more about the trials that Martin Luther King went through. He did so much good for the world and we are better off because of his peaceable ways. There are a lot of videos and displays. It was touching to tour his older church too.

I was humbled to be in this historic house of worship! I stood in the same place so many other people have been to; pray, worship, learn, sing, praise, mourn, laugh, organize, grow, love, hope & share. When we are honest as we recall all of our past, we have true hope for changing our future! Thank you Atlanta, Ebenezer Baptist Church, National Park Service, citizens of Sweet Auburn, and everyone who helps to diligently maintain and safeguard this cornerstone of our American heritage!
