As I walked into the Ebenezer Baptist Church, it was easy to envision the Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. speaking. A shiver went up and down my spine. There is so much history here that I am certain I could not convey it with these few words.

I was delighted that it was free and there is so much that I did not have time to explore everything I want. One could easily spend hours here; however, the highlights can be experienced in 10 minutes or even less if absolutely necessary.

Overall, it was a highly positive experience!

Incredible exhibits. Unfortunately so crowded with schoolchildren you could not get from one location to another. At one point a park ranger asked what the fire code was for maximum capacity as she thought it had been exceeded for that particular building.

Amazing yet somber place. This is a great tribute to an even greater man. Park staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We are already planning our trip back during the summer to see the roses in bloom.

The best experience ever! When you couldn't find the words to explain to your children how times were back then, when internet pictures, stories, and the history channel wasnt enough, this is thee best hands on, visual way to convey it. We will be back!

A must visit site for everyone, whether you live in Altanta or are just visiting! Very emotional and close to heart no matter who you are. Highly recommend visiting the Ebenezer Church and King Jr's birth place while you are there as well.

It was an honor to be able to visit on MLK weekend. Visiting all the areas literally gave me the chills. I'll be coming back because I didn't get to tour his birth home or the original Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Pictures cannot be taken in the home of MLK . Upstairs is been restored at the moment so it is inaccessible. Apart from that it is a great experience. A lot of walking will be done so comfortable shoes are a necessity. Wheelchairs are okay, crutches and walkers may cause some inconvenience. Animals, skateboards, and bicycles are not allowed in certain areas. Food is not allowed in most places.

So amazing to be here. I thought that I knew a lot about this American hero and his life but I discovered so much more in visiting the King Center. Ebenezer Church, and the rest of the area. I left with a renewed sense of the legacy of freedom and activism that has been left to me.

I enjoyed my visit to the church and the King museum. I was disappointed when I observed a picture of Trump in the museum. He is a racist and is doing all he can to roll back all of the fine work of Dr. King. He should have no place in the museum. He is against everything that Dr. King stood for. Please remove that despicable photo from the gallery.

Unbelievable to be in Ebeneezer Baptist Church. Having been a life-long admirer of Dr. King, it was definitely the experience of a lifetime. My only "wish" would be for a safer feeling walk from the MARTA train station to the Historic Site. My son and me were stopped numerous times by homeless panhandlers, some even handing out pamphlets and claiming to represent the Historic Site, and asked for money. The walk from the train station to the historic sites certainly wouldn't be something that I would want to do after dark, especially if I were unfamiliar with the area. I think the entire experience would be much better with some form of transportation from the train station to Auburn Avenue.

A very successful place of memory and paying a beautiful and deep tribute to Martin Luther King.
A museum part allows to understand the period and the context, as well as the fight of MLK.
Then we can go to the neighborhood of his childhood which has been fully preserved and maintained.
His grave is in the middle of a large basin.
it's very addictive.

Very educational, and organized on behalf of the Visitors Center. Didn't have to do a lot of thinking or planning as far as what direction to go first because they have times for guided tours. Lots of Security guards, gift shops and places to eat.

A historic and very memorable experience. Parking is usually free and could be found at the lot or on the streets. Everything except merch is free. Daily tours fill up super fast. Try to be there between 9.30-10am to book a convenient time for your tour else you can check back 10-15 mins before every tour and see if slots open up. The entire experience from touring the museum and then the actual MLK house is better felt than told. Enjoy!

If you are even a minute late to pick up your ticket for the house tour, don't bother going. I was disappointed to learn my tickets had been given away only 5 min past scheduled arrival time (due to parking, so beware to incorporate it!) I understand rules are rules, but the lack of sympathy and accomodation from the security guard was very distasteful. The fact that he tried to argue and justify his actions was alarming, falsely claiming that he waited 10 min when it was 11:35am! Sucks to be a first time Visitor from out of state.
