I had no idea that we had walked into the Historical Park...it just sits nestled into the neighborhood with the Atlanta downtown skyline next to it. What a beautiful an awesome experience to be able to visit!!!!?

I think its fine as far as it goes. I've been to dozens of national parks. This one probably gets loads of traffic and looks worn out to me. Usually national park are meticulously maintained. The national park service ought to do better for this one, particularly for such a revered figure as Dr. King.

Couldn't believe its free admission. This place is amazing, i learned so much. Beautiful to see where him and his wife are layed to rest. Walking into the church he preached at was amazing , but sad to find out not only was his funeral also in this church but his mother was shot and killed in it also. His birth home is here also and free to tour.

An excellent and interesting site to learn about Martin Luther King Jr and the civil rights movement. If you want to do a birth house tour, get to the visitor center on the morning to have the best chance at tickets.

To visit this museum is very emotional to realize that this was not that long ago. I wonder why we take things for granted and treat people like you want to be treated. It s not the color of our skin it s the color of our hearts. I never realized the tragedy that struck this family but they persevered through it all. Violence is never the answer because so many other people suffer behind one person actions. As a African American this humble me because I understand that not only did Jesus die for me. Martin Luther King also dies so that I can have a relationship with all race of people. The time now is violence is running rapid in our country but dreams still come true. Even though we are still not there it gives you a feeling of pride to know that a man with a vision laid down his life so I could live. So if you are ever in Atlanta it s a must see.

Sure

great

Free parking there for the park! Walking distance. What we did is leave our car there and Uber back to the lot after we did all of our ATL activites for the day. They recommended to not walk lonesome at night. Uber was cheap since we stayed around the area!

It was a great experience a must go to a piece of history. Didn't tour the house got there to late. If you want to tour the house get there early to get your ticket. (Fyi get rid of that trump in the room with the Carriage that destroys the whole Atmosphere.) Other than that great!!!

Great self-guided walking tour of the neighborhood in which Dr. M. L. King Jr. lived as a boy. We enjoyed the museum and Heritage Sanctuary. We wish we had had more time to spend in the museum.

I've been here many times but this one was special. Today marks the 50th anniversary of his assassination. I want my daughter to see this to know how really great he was than what she read about him in school.

If visiting Atlanta, especially with kids, this is a must stop. Lots of improvements made over the years including new exhibits across the street...be sure to visit the original museum and then cross the street for more history.
