I visited the Martin Luther King Junior national historic park (free) with no expectations of what to find and came away changed. What a beautiful tribute to a beautiful man who spoke of peace and harmony. The museum was put together in a logical timeline with interactive displays, great videos, and room for many visitors to stand in one area and experience the legacy of Martin Luther King together. I appreciated that unity. The displays left me touched in a positive way and wishing that people of all nationalities, color, gender, religion could get along in the way that Martin Luther King preached and led. He was and is a true disciple of Jesus Christ. Thank you for this terrific National park.

I was honored to be here. The presence in the area was amazing and just knowing I was in the same place, on the same ground as these activists made me so emotional. I was just visiting, and I knew I couldn't leave without visiting. The memorial is so beautiful, it's an experience I'm grateful for and won't ever forget I'll be uploading footage from my visit on my YouTube channel soon @ Lenish Loves Makeup

Just amazing. Take the time to go and spend time seeing everything. So much to see. Us seriously a day event. I finally found someone to go with and it was worth it! I will be back again! Just so nuch to see. I woukd suggest starting at the visitors center to get a map and the info on all of the places. His home is the only one that needs a tour scheduled and they are not often every day. Be aware that goigle brings you out at his father's church. The big one! I suggest parking in the back and wallking the back way to the visitors center. You will see a statue of Gandhi. Walk don the pathway on the right of him keeping his back to yours and you will find the visitors center in that building on your right. Hope this helps! Enjoy!

An educational experience for the entire family. There is a wonderful orator who speaks in the basement of the church and gives the history of the church. He recites Dr. King' s "I Have a Dream" speech and it is phenomenal.

This was my second time visiting. I was amazed as if it was my first time. We decide to take our children here for one of our spring break activities. All of the children had a great time. I recommend that everyone comes to experience this place at least once. It's a wonderful way to teach a person about their history and rich culture.

Great Great Great!!

Great Great Great!!
A must is the Restaurant after you have toured. Criole, Southern, french a variety and all fresh. Collard Greens were banging. You will spend but believe me it was worth it!

Who would have thought that we would ever have to social distance or be it may; not to get to close to one another. We dwell together on one accord in unity peacemakers in a "U-N-I-T-Y" fashion. Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. words of inspiration are truly felt today . At such a time as this... We are compelled to come together in 2020' to remember our community ,civic and national leaders. 1 Congressman John R. Lewis, Rev. C. T. Vivian, Rep Elijah Cummings and Rev. Dr. Joseph Lowery. Biblically speaking from the Book of Ecclesiastes. A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing. We are now certainly are in a time to [refrain from embracing]. Sadly due to this covid-19 virus, aka global pandemic.
I can still find it great joy to come back to this peaceful [tranquil ]place in the Sweet Auburn District.

I was elated to experience the tour and see the place where Dr. King was raised and worshipped. This trip for my family was a very historic one I m proud to say I saw it all. I m thankful for the experience and to teach my children about a great man. This area generally has a lot of visitors and parking is hard to come by. Be sure to bring cash for the lots nearby, try to get there early bring water and a light snack. The summer was very hot, comfortable shoes and clothing is best. Lastly, enjoy this experience with your family!

Excellent memorial to the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. You can tour the house he grew up in. I recommend booking tickets online ahead of time to plan your trip better. Admission is free for everything ! You can also tour Ebenezer Baptist Church! If your in Atlanta make sure you visit!

This place has to be a first stop for anyone traveling to Atlanta. The house and the whole block have restored houses to the time when MLK Jr. was growing up there. The historic Ebenezer church has an immersive way it is set up. They place sermons of MLK Jr. in the sanctuary, so you can feel what it was like to sit in services on a Sunday morning back then. If going on the weekend, I recommend traveling early in the morning. School groups will be out there, and if you want a tour then try to get there before they do.

Great museum of Martin Luther King Jr's teachings. It was a powerful message then and still is now. Lot of history here with his Nobel peace prize and his resting grounds lay beside the center. All in all, a memorable visit.

A place & involvement thats as important as any of the great monuments that represent the heritage of people of the
United States. It was birth for a reason, some are living out of its birth, with deeper reasons to advance forward for righteous reasons for all American people.

Beautiful and very complete monument in respect and tribute to Martin Luther King, Jr. (in addition, also to Coretta Scott King, Rosa Parks and others) for their determined and tireless fight for civil rights and against the segregation of people of color black in the USA.

This is an Atlanta treasure

This is an Atlanta treasure
When you visit it together
With family and friends
From near and from worldly ends
It is where the world visits & learns
About the World of MLK
In your own, kind way
Say hello
To other fellows
Say I'm from here
Which is near
