Visited the King Center to experience the legacy and history of MLK. If you want to be enlightened about a man who was a key figure in shaping the civil rights we all are covered by, then explore the visual displays that will really open your eyes.

I felt like I was stepping back in time. This was an amazing soul experience to me. I can only imagine the perseverance of Dr. Martin Luther King. He was born into his destiny. His sacrifice will never be forgotten.

The city has done a great job preserving artifacts to create this historical park. I like how the center focuses & targets youth in the role they played & can play in change. Be prepared to do some walking and parking is extremely limited. Also if you plan to view the home, come early to reserve because it fills quickly. We were not able to view.
The experience seems surreal as you listen to his sermons and view the wagon which carried his casket. Very touching.

Wow I'm glad I went to this historical, educational, wonderful place. The exhibits are excellent. Everyone there (the visitors) were so much in awe. Everyone was kind, respectful. The burial place for MLK and his wife is there. This is a nice place, worth the trip, and it's all free!

Though it was on a sad day in history all of Martin Luther King Junior's children were in attendance it too was sad because the children were not speaking to one another nor were they try to speak to the press Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms was not trying to speak nor was Reverend Al Sharpton it just seemed like everybody had attitudes it weighed heavy in the air and since I was in the crowd we were talking amongst each other about the attitude that was very very visible after the children set the reef in front of their father I left I didn't care to hear the speech and I vowed never to visit the site again if this is the attitude the family displays shame on them in public media they are the Legacy to a civil rights icon and their attitude was just horrible I don't care if they had to fake the funk for the media do so Yolanda is the only grandchild to Martin Luther King Junior and the way they displayed their attitudes no one speaking to each other the sisters in-laws with their capped up attitudes as well is showing this little girl how this Legacy has ended they should be having Sunday dinners and speaking to her about her grandfather shame on this family Shame Shame Shame and I am embarrassed for them

I got there early. It was very cold. I froze, and then thawed out. I like to be at appointments on time, so that's why I was there so early. I got in and got a seat when the door was opened though. The program from start to finish was amazing. If it is God's will and mercy for me to see 2019, I will be there again. My score is 100 percent.

I loved being there and learn more about the history and the places dr, Luther King used to be and live. One thing that I loved the most was the old houses on Auburn st. I was really amazed. The tour is for free but make sure to tip the people who help to make this a great place to visit.
