Great shopping experience! So much history in this building.

This place is way too big. People don't shop like this anymore. it takes a significant amount of time to find what you're looking for. Trying to find a sales person to check you out is another challenge and most departments.

Long history of a building with great sightlines inside.

I visited the floor filled with Xmas decorations and the wonderful basement food corridor!

The building itself is a classic and must see for anyone traveling to Chicago.

Costco and Target a few bocks away. Best grocery store ever, Fresh Farms, along with Walmart and Ross? Can you beat that?

Always will be Field's to me! There's renovations going on inside right now but it's nice to explore inside when Downtown, especially during the Holiday season.

The place is huge, many brands in one place. If you have certain patience, you get something with an excellent price.

Historical Macys store fabulous at Christmas time

You can pay your bill there and you can alway find something. Just love this store

Always a good decision but be prepared to wait for a table in the Walnut room during the holidays.

This building is beautiful, especially around the holidays. Walnut Room old fashioned is a refreshing drink to break up the shopping, too.

The customer service is very poor in there on multiple levels

Well put together but needs more customer service; help on shopping floor as there are many dessert spaces but you will find as many as 3 employees standing around in huddles just like walmart

Been going there since it was Marshall Fields. A truly amazing retail space.

Cool building. Great food court on 7th floor. Terrible elevators and difficult layout to navigate.

The Marshall Field Stores are part of the Downtown great places to shop and unwind with something for everyone.

HORRIBLE!!! this place is terrible and dont get me wrong service is good, decoration is beautiful but food is terrible the buffet had at least couple hours there drying! Is terrible we had to left without eating because this was bad... VERY BAD

There's something amazing about this building. I love the ceilings and history. But oh man, is it ever run down. There's peeling paint, the floors are destroyed, half the store is partitioned off by temporary drywall dividers... It's a disappointing end to an era.

It was a very well put together store multiple floors very calm nice and clean with a very extensive candy selection nice hat section as well

The building is still beautiful. The interior details have been stripped by the current occupant. There is also noticable deterioration.

The place has REALLY gone down hill since it was bought out by Macy's. It's very dirty and several of the elevators were out of order

Not the same experience! Marshal Field was much more delightful. Tree is a lot smaller, not decorated as nice. A significent decrease in holiday windows. Very dissappointing.

Went to Walnut room. Great food and great ambiance! Not to mention the shopping.

So very sad to see a great land mark go to hell. No big Christmas tree, no windows decorated, no Walnut room.

It had a rich history and the historic Walnut Room Restaurant.

I love this store, but the associates are not welcoming and its more than twice at the State street store--the last being 2019/Oct/21. I didn't buy anything, i walked out. I do not think i have came across any helpful/caring associates at the above mentioned location in the past two years based on my personal analysis. Who and where is the story manager?

Macy's is great at Christmas. Outside decorations and moving window displays. See the tree in the Walnut Room restaurant and the Tiffany ceramic tile ceiling and the collection of stained glass from various Chicago homes in the basement.

The building is very interesting, and it is worthwhile to appreciate the building without buying anything.

It's iconic flagship status is showing lots of wear...store looks tired...bathrooms are filthy and run down.

Ran in to pick up an online order , I haven't had a pick up here in a while and they moved online pick desk, so I had to asked staff to guide me to the new area and they did with a smile..I really appreciate it :-)

I always love Marshall Fields before they change it to Macy's. They have a very nice selection of quality items for whatever you're looking for. Marshall Fields is the way to go.

Went to the walnut room for lunch what a sad place from what this used to be.

First visit to the Walnut Room. It was a very impressive experience. Staff was awesome.

My favorite Macy's location. I adore this building. Its architecture is magnificent and the escalators lead you to beautiful views of the building and the department store.
