The Marriott Lincolnshire as a hotel is a Marriott. Which is nice, just as you'd expect it to be. The theatre is top rate. Nearly impossible to exaggerate the quality of their productions. The staging and choreography and especially noteworthy as the layout is theatre in the round.

Was just passing through to kill some time. The place looks beautiful back there. Friendly staff that waved and smiled. I'm looking forward to a reason to stay there and check it out as an overnight guest.

This hotel would not allow me to cancel. I was traveling on business and missed my flight due to a delay during the day. I ended up staying at another marriott property and they still charged me. Bad move Marriott.

Our 3 night staycation at Marriott Lincolnshire......

Our 3 night staycation at Marriott Lincolnshire....a true getaway...with all the comforts you want...and more. Rooms have been updated and are sleek and comfortable. Restaurants are new...but, with flavor of old favorites at Marriott... especially Wright's Brew and Bistro. Room service is quick and delicious. Spa services should not be missed... especially refeshing facial and relaxing massage. Hotel staff are friendly and accommodating. Pool and sauna are a delightful respite. Plus, add world class theatre choices for adults and families. Your all in one staycation vacation choice. Been there...and going back.

I went to the Lincolnshire Marriott to see the final showing of How to Succeed in Business Without Even trying on Sunday, October 16th. The performance itself was outstanding, but the accommodations, the atmosphere, and the staff, were excellent. Mr. Juan Bahena especially stood out, with his friendly smile, polite directions, and over all courtesy. I definitely plan on returning to the Lincolnshire Marriott to see more performances and hope to see the same amount thoughtfulness and kindness from the staff, as I have in the past.

This place hosted many of our guests for our wedding. It had lots of amenities and was within 5 minutes from our reception venue. Starbucks, multiple bars, fitness center were nice to have. The decor and member lounge was nice too. Overall, great place to rest for the night.

Really really helpful staff. Granted, i stayed there for 2 weeks but I got a humdifier, microwave, and anything else I asked for fairly quickly. Felt like a king. The resort does does need slight updates inside job terms of design but the rooms are nice and the outdoor pool area is going through renovation

We have gone as a family to see the "children's theatrical performance" for several years now around this time of year. Until now, the performances have been classical stories (e.g., Sleeping Beauty, Nutcracker, etc.), but this year, it was Shrek and next year it will be Madagascar. While the performance itself was well sung and acted, the story and attempt at humor was crass and tasteless IMHO. I won't be going next year or any future year unless the classics return. Call me old-fashioned but I don't think a farting contest is amusing. Maybe if I was still 10.

Can't beat the Play, and stay the night, package. The performances are first rate, and package includes a fine dinner at Three Embers restaurant, and a hearty brunch next morning. Quite reasonable for all you get.

I used to love this place. We celebrated my sister's birthday here since she was 8 and she turned 11 today. We pay a membership fee here every year and we get free nights couple times a year, free shows, and once in a while we get free meals. Recently they sent us a coupon for free kids meal for children under 12, which I assumed it was BECAUSE of my sister's bday. Everyone was 10 and 11. Well they decided not to honor the coupon because we had 8 kids. And the coupon specifically stated up to 10 kids. We ended up calling corporate office, who approved our coupon and apologized. Everything would have been fine, but the whole process took over 1 hr. We ordered food at 740pm and we eventually got it at 930pm. They have this Asian manager who is the rudest person you have ever met. I have no idea how he became a manager, honestly. And just to make it clear we didn't eat because of the coupon, kids meals are mere $10, but this became a matter of principle. The food was great no doubt about that. I've been eating here for 3yrs. Eventually nobody ever apologized for the inconvenience, nobody comp'd anything. The worst experience I've ever had here in forever. I usually don't do this but I hope this manager is not here next time. I'll come again but if he is I'm turning around. So I guess they haven't lost me but almost. I'm very disappointed Marriott.

This place has a partnership with a local training seminar for a room rate. When I called in the person on the line was rude throughout. Telling me that the rate wasn't even an option. Then when I told him to check he disappeared for about 5 minutes. When he came back he said that he found the rate but now told me that the hotel was already booked(why wouldn't he tell me this before we discussed the rate since he knew the dates from the beginning? Because he just didn't want me to have the room at that price). When I told him I might use my military rate he told me if I qualify then they might give that to me(as if I don't know if I'm in the military or not).

So I called back a while later that day and guess what? They had rooms. Not that I'm staying there after reading all the bad reviews and how I was treated.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. This hotel is apart of a high complex run by Marriott with a golf course, theater, multiple restaurants, etc. There is also a Starbucks for a quick morning coffee which is convenient. The rooms are fairly standard and have a hint of a modern lodge feel - Nothing overly fancy. The gym was a decent size and could accommodate many guests simultaneously. Staff were friendly and helpful as needed. Would stay here again.

T-Mobile and Verizon dead zone due to cement walls. You hardly get signal in any of the rooms I'm told. I've missed calls and texts come in late. The hotel is very nice but I feel like that should've been said somewhere. If you're here for business may be look elsewhere if your service is through them. If the signal part is not a big deal and you don't mind standing in corners or holding your phone a certain way for service than this is your hotel! Everything else has been superb

The theater is round with the stage in the center, giving every seat an excellent view of the stage. The friendly and attentive staff get you situated right away. Parking is sufficient, but could use a few more handycap spots. My last visit was just to the theater, but have stayed overnight and dined at the restaurant in prior visits and always enjoyed the accommodations and seevice. You get the feeling of being deep in the country and far from the hustle abd bustle.

Why is everyone so rude

Why is everyone so rude
1. I tried to call a week early to see if I could make sure we have rooms next to eachother or joined. They could only find one reservation
2. Called 2 days before asked the same question they said it was no problem. Until we called to see if we could check in early and no note was made and no one knew we wanted joined rooms or rooms next to eachother. The person in the phone even said "I had no idea that's what you wanted."
3. we show up 30 minutes late because they stressed no early check in, only to find out we will have to wait another THREE HOURS for one of our rooms to be available.
4. They said they would get housekeeping to our room to clean it for us. The room is next to ours, everytime we pass the room we see the maid sitting on the entertainment center on her phone. While we are waiting. We ask her if the room was ready she moved into the room. 10 minutes later we came back walked into the room and she sitting on a chair still her on her phone. THREE HOURS later we get a call our room is ready.
5. We asked for a late check out thinking it was the least they could do. the response we get is "Ummmmm, we dont do that here" and we explained our situation to which the reply "yeah, we we still dont do that here."
6. We tried to go to the bar, Asked 3 people for a menu and no one even made eye contact with us. After 20 minutes of being ignored, I only say 20 because after a considerable amount of time we started timing them, but no one acknowledged us.
Yeah We wont be coming back

Really nice place. They keep it well maintained and clean. Plenty of conference rooms for any business meetings and mini conventions you might need to schedule. There is also the Marriott Theater that is connected where they have several plays/performances.

Sad to say that overall our experience was very poor despite having high expectations.

I was a part of a wedding party that was scheduled to start at 3pm. The day before I called to request a earlier then their noon check-in and was told by the person on the phone that they can not guarantee that, I explained that I'm going to be IN a wedding there and it's schedule to start at 3pm and that I and my family would need that time to get ready. The person on the phone quite rudely said "Sir there are 3 weddings here tomorrow, I can't guarantee your room before noon", she then suggest I call early tomorrow to try to see if our room would be ready earlier. I did just that, I called at around 8:00, then around 9:00 then around 10:00. Every time I called I was given the same answer "we don't know when your room will be ready. I decided to show up at 11am in hopes of being able to check in to be able to start getting ready for the wedding, surprise surprise no luck, I was told our room would be put on "rush" to get us in as soon as possible. Literally less then 10 minutes to noon we were told our room was ready. Later that day while I was getting ready I found out the the best man... THE BEST MAN in the wedding was not able to check into his room because it wasn't ready till almost 1pm! What the heck happened to the guaranteed noon check-in???
At that time I could not comprehend why a place would book weddings in this manner if you can NOT accommodate for the setup and guests checking in to get ready! ... Well, I came to the conclusion at the end of the night when I saw people from god knows how many weddings running all over the place half drunk. This place basically crams as many people into the hotel in as little time possible turnaround to keep profits flowing in nonstop. Incredibly tacky and poor management decision! The following morning to add insult to injury, checked out at noon (I'm guessing someone was more than probably waiting for our room to start getting ready for a wedding), about 2 and a half hours later I called to tell them I forgot my phone charger and gave a description of exactly where I left it in our room. I was told they would check and got back to me telling me it could not be found... Really?!?!?! They offered to open a "case" for me to do futher checking. A day or two later I got an email that basically said too bad so sad.

I would definitely not recommend this Resort, felt more like a motel!

Not really a resort. Rooms are small. Two double beds...In a resort?? When I booked a king?? Kings were "unavailable". How was it available to book but not use? Room was small. Bathroom felt like a closet. They put the lights on a timer. Nothing like trying to work and having the lights go out. Waving arms around like a damn fool trying to get them to turn back on. Not one I will recommend at all.
