MARRIOTT'S LINCOLNSHIRE HOTEL Review

Was there for the opening night of their play Bridges of Madison County.

The hotel itself is very clean and very nice but when you go to Starbucks you got one person working trying to take care of 10 people with orders 24 one person very disappointed you got to get some help over there Marriott tell Starbucks people to bring some Personnel in their place when you go there you're out of stuff such as the lemon cake the morning buns the breakfast sandwiches there's nothing in there what's up with that

One of my favorite places to stay in Illinois. Have been for over 30 plus years.

Had a wonderful time at the play Oklahoma! What a great show.

We had the Easter brunch buffet and the food was awesome! The building and the ambiance were very nice as well. I would definitely go back!

My stay at the Lincolnshire was pleasant and uneventful. My room was adequate in size and features. The room was equipped with light switches that powered off after a few minutes. That was probably the only disappointment too. I was taking a shower when the lights powered off... No big deal but I also like to keep the bathroom light on at night as I travel regularly and it helps when I do need to go to the bathroom during the night... The room had a newer flat-screen Television and plenty of power options. There is a lounge for guests of Marriott and SPG who have platinum status. The pool and hot tub are awesome and there is an outdoor pool. The gym has free weights, weight machines z and both elliptical and treadmills.

Classy resort with a hotel, theater in the round, and many eating options. Caters to special events, weddings etc. Great brunches, too.

I went for a conference and everything was very clean and professional. Only bad part was a specific hallway that was an icebox vs. All of the other places around it

It's very nice, front desk was great! Housekeeping not as good as it should be, and an attitude with one man. He also entered our room when he was not supposed to.

Loved our stay! We we had a great experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. Plus our room was beautiful. Loved the vaulted ceiling!!!

I attended an event at the Marriott Resort in Lincolnshire, and the staff was polite and the event space was wonderful.

Wedding at the outside tent was spacious and it was a good service by the staff.

I've eaten at the restaurant and attended shows at the theater several times over the years when visiting with family in Illinois. The food and service are always superb, and the stage productions are Broadway-quality -- always fantastic! I haven't stayed at the hotel, but everything else and all the staff are just wonderful. We will be going back!

Rooms are modern. Not very big... Just your average Marriott size. Hotel still being renovated.

This is a nice hotel with excellent amenities. They have great rooms, very clean and modern. The restaurant onsite is pretty good (pricey but good) and the staff were excellent.

Under renovation when we stayed due to flood damage, but the staff was always very helpful and the rooms were clean. Really nice indoor and outdoor pools.

It's nice but should not be called a resort. Three stars for being misleading. Would have gotten 5 stars if called Marriot Hotel.

We went to see a musical. It was very good, but they blocked off part of the parking lot entrance for seemingly no reason, making it difficult to park.

I stayed for over a week for business. Large, clean rooms. Friendly staff. On site restaurant was good, but had a limited menu. Fitness center was nice too.

Check in went smooth and quiet room. Nice breakfast and lots of choices.

I went for an interview in one of their conference halls and the atmosphere was pleasant and the staff was kind and helpful

The Marriott Lincolnshire is really nice and they have all kinds of stuff to do because is a resort and they have a theater and several restaraunts. Also they have many banquet areas and even one outside that is tented.

Loved the hotel, it was under construction but it was still very enjoyable. Food was great and staff was very helpful. Beds are awesome

Renovations we're still going on, but are close to. Eing done. Such a transformation, beautiful property.

The Marriott was host to a wedding. The service was great and the venue was nice.

My son got married at the resort. The wedding planner was attentive. The whole experience was absolutely fantastic.

Today, I took my grandkids to see Madagascar. It was fantastic. We love the 1 hr plays for kids. Perfect.

Hotel is good, had to go to 3 restaurants before I could get served. Lady at the Bistro took another party behind me even after i was in line and told I'm next and then told me it would be another 15 minutes... guess they had more money...Food was excellent in bar, nice facility, and lounge was also good.

I see theatrical musicals at the Lincolnshire Marriott every 8 weeks for past 3 years. It is a great theater, great parking and very nice staff.

Very nice place. Out of the way of the big city traffic. Had a very nice personal touch. Sign into your own Netflix on the tv. Pretty good resturants. If your going to Navy graduation. This place is 20 mins from the base. Your sailor will love it. Leave no later then 6AM to go to graduation.

The M lounge is great. I dont like it when people try to sneak in.

The play was great. I'm large, and the seats are uncomfortable.

Nice renovation, but rooms are still very small. The sliding bathroom doors look cool and modern, but are not very practical, as the glass panel let's out all of the lovely bright light in the middle of the night when your spouse has to use the bathroom.

I stayed at this hotel for Hotel for a work conference this past week. For reference, my room was the very last room at the last corridor on the third floor. Room 3071.

Check in was pretty easy. I was there for work and they asked me for my cell phone number to call when the room was ready. That never happened so I went back to the front and was able to get my room that apparently had been ready for some time. Good to know.

The room itself was nice and appeared clean. I will tell you though that the walls are paper thin and I could hear every word my next door neighbors said, which was frustrating at 11:30 PM when I was trying to sleep.



This came at the tail end of a long work day when I had gone to my room on lunch only to find out the lock was not working. I went all the way back up to the front desk (in heels) only to find another man there with the same lockout problem. Like I said, last room in the last building so I had to run back with my new key card to my room for a second time (now late returning to my meeting) due to this. Apparently they are aware that this is a problem so I am not sure why it continues to be an issue.

I also used the gym the second night I was there. For a four star hotel this looked like it had not been cleaned for a long long time. There was dried sweat on the machines that I had to clean off to use it which I felt I shouldn t have to be doing.

Overall between the tub that doesn t drain, the lock that doesn t work and the gym that doesn t seem to be cleaned, I cannot recommend staying here. Also, when pulling my car into the parking lot at night I heard a loud pop and found that I had run over some liquor bottles which I could not see due to the dimly lit parking situation. I have had much better experiences at other Marriott properties.

Rooms were a bit dated but overall very clean and very attentive staff.

I went there for work event and all we used was one of the venues but it was a beautiful thing you great food great service

Conference rooms are a little dated but the rooms are nice.

We went to the theatre to see Holiday Inn. It was a great performance. The actors and dancers we're wonderful. Thoughly enjoyed the performance. We walked around the resort before the performance and enjoyed the holiday decorations.

Wonderful experience! Everyone was very pleasant, the rooms were comfortable. The hot tub and indoor pool was exactly as described. There was ample parking, considering I had an oversized vehicle. I'd definitely stay here again.

Woah!!! Can't wait to be a wedding phographer here again!

We actually went to go see "The Mamma Mia Farewell Tour" at the Marriott Lincolnshire Theatre. They have a round stage enabling every person in the audience to have a good seat!!! My entire family really enjoyed themselves and we will definitely be going back!

We went to the play at Lincolnshire Marriott theater in the round. It was fabulous.. "Ragtime" love the setup up aND would highly recommend for theater lovers

I frequently have good experiences at Marriott Hotels, but this has been one of the best. The room is well stocked, clean and lovely. Everything you need in a room is here, they don't skimp on the coffee, there were several servings available, along with a variety of tea, sugar and creamer. The room service is impeccable, the food luxurious and delicious, the service prompt and of high-quality. The reasonable price of room service surprised me. It was on par with what I would spend for dinner at any local restaurant, excepting breakfast, which was a little on the high side I thought. The quality of food you get is astounding - absolutely phenomenal. Overall service at the hotel was brilliant, anything you need or want they will provide. What a wonderful experience, thank you Lincolnshire Marriott! (By the way, hit up their Spa while you're here, the prices are reasonable and it is completely worth it!)

The hotel is modern, beautiful and it was a good place to have our event

My company threw our holiday party here and the food was incredible! Afterward, we attended their terrific theater and saw the musical Grease. Everyone had a wonderful time and everyone who stayed overnight was so happy!

The hotel is a little dated. $20 Breakfast buffett is overpriced and not that good.

Had a wonderful time seeing "Million Dollar Quartet." The facilities were beautiful and the staff was friendly and helpful. I look forward to returning soon.

I had better expectations for this place! First off, there's no actual balconies as we could have sworn said on their website. Second, the bathrooms are the most plain thing I've ever seen. The whole room was smaller than expected for the price. The walls were thin and we could hear everything around us clearly. It wasn't the crappiest thing in the world but we expected more. Oh and I couldn't sleep for more than 40 mins because of their very used pillows. Worst sleep ever
