MARRIOTT'S LINCOLNSHIRE HOTEL Review

Wedding at the outside tent was spacious and it was a good service by the staff.

Utilized the resort rooms to get ready for a wedding. As part of the wedding party, we we're well taken care of and the rooms had everything we needed.

We went and saw a show at the theater. What a wonderful experience! Great acting, dancing, and singing. Very kid friendly. Clean and well maintained, my only complaint was the rest rooms were a bit dirty.

I went to the salon here. They were professional and talented. They only spoke English in front of the customer. A manicure is EXPENSIVE but good service and the hotel is beautiful!!!

Wonderful, our family of 25 come here for a family vacation.

The venue is great and the actors are very talented, but I'm disappointed with the productions chosen for the children's theater in more recent times. For many years we've attended with as many as 30 of our family at a single performance, but the transition to more modern choices is so unfortunate. Is this the theater's attempt to appeal to "today's kids"? My kids have adored the classic fairy tales we've seen there over the years. But now it seems that Shrek, Junie B Jones, and Madagascar are the standard fare. Very unfortunate and disappointing.

My boyfriend and I loved our stay! Bed and pillows were so comfy! Wish we could have taken them with us. The place was beautifully designed. Loved the fireplace.

I enjoyed my stay very much. It was very clean. The people were very nice. The bed was extremely comfy. Loved the outdoor patio area. The shower was nice and hot. Very snug room. The heat worked great. I could not get much cellular service in the room however that may have just been my service. Also I did not understand why Wifi wasn't free... Every place I ever stayed it was free so that caught me off guard. Besides those two technological issues I think it was a great place.

Very nice, comfortable hotel. The resort was modernized last year. Especially the lobby area was completely re-arranged. In addition to the restaurants, there is now a significantly expanded Starbucks. The hotel has a pool and gym area.

Its a Marriott resort with nice pool, fitness center, lounge and restaurants. I was there for business and might visit them later in the future. Great staffs and service throughout the day and night.

The Marriott provides a wonderful experience for people of all ages. The actors are phenomenal and the performances are well put together and very timely. The staff are also very friendly and accommodating.

Saw Honeymoon in Vegas. Great location and great show!

Lincolnshire Marriott Resort offers a variety of activities, including hiking, swimming and golf. In addition, the theater is one of the best in the suburbs of Chicago. The clean rooms lack some of the most modern facilities one can find in a newer hotel, but the staff and the rest of the hotel enhance the experience.

Theater in the round is great. The stage is right there in front of you. An intimate setting.

This hotel is so amazing and they have so much to do here! The staff is second to none!! The bikes for rental are really cool and the live show my husband and I saw was Awesome!! We will definitely stay here again!!

Good tennis courts. Very nice quality. No cracks. Taken care of really well.

Saw wonderful Holiday Musical before Christmas.

My only complaint would be is that they need more than one elevator. There are many elderly people at the matinees. The whole audience has to get upstairs to enter the Theatre. Both before and after the show the elevator line was extremely long. With over 50% of the people having walkers, canes, wheelchairs etc. not many people can fit into the elevator each trip.

The building is far back off the road and its almost as if you park behind it because of where the entrance is.

The shows at Lincolnshire Marriott are always well done. With very talented singers and musicians. Once the restraunts are reopened in will be great to dine then see a show. Friendly staff and their productions are great. Kids shows are very well done and the cast always spends time after their performance to answer the childrens questions.

It was a little crowded and busy, but great food and atmosphere!

Very nice hotel. Rooms are comfortable. WiFi free with Marriott Rewards. Loved the pool & workout rooms. Convenient location. You won t be disappointed.

We visited the Marriot theater to attend a children's play. The facilities we very clean and all employees were very professional.

We go to the Marriott for the theater. Productions are all musicals and almost all ways wonderful. Great voices and dance.
Easy free parking and convenient location make the Marriott Theater a local treasure.

Very nice hotel, I did not stay overnight, but I attended a wedding. The wedding was gorgeous, the ceremony was outside on the back patio and had the lake on two sides. The dinner was inside a large room that had glass on three sides. The food was good, the bartenders and servers were nice, was a very lovely wedding. Hadn't stayed at the hotel, but looks like a very large hotel. Had a pool inside and outside, Starbucks in the lobby, restaurant inside.

I went to see Mamma Mia and it was absolutely wonderful! They put on incredible performances there

Decent hotel. Updated room. Unfortunately I didn't get to golf but the golf course at the resort is very nice

I attended the marriot for my high school prom and the venue was beautiful, everything was well organized, but the main problem was lack of bathrooms. There were 2 other proms happening that night and we were only allowed to use one set which ended up with a long wait for both rooms.

Love the theatre, the property and the rooms. Breakfast, though, was a disaster. Started with a disorganized hostess, took over 20 minutes before someone even showed up to take our order. For was decent in flavor, but cold by the time it was served. I'll be back, but will get my food elsewhere.

The Play "Ragtime" was Fantastic! We also had dinner and also delicious.

The theater is great. We go to see performances there a few times a year. The productions are very professional and always enjoyable. Plus, it's theater in the round, do all seats are good seats.

Friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful renovations since the last time I was there.

Absolutely fantastic. The people were great. The grounds were perfect. I would recommend this over any place. The cost difference is definitely worth it. Just a very nice, clean, comfortable place to stay with great happy service

Great service and a wonderful performance of Singin' in the Rain!

Generally used for conferences and people visiting for the attached theater rather than the overnight business traveller. Staff is very accommodating and while rooms are a little dated, it is usually quite with peaceful surroundings.

The event was a college presentation The room was good, but lighting was an issue - moderators didn't know how to adjust and even then, it didn't look very user friendly

I saw how to succeed at business without trying and it was awesome! It went from 8:15 to 10:30 but was well worth the ticket price. Very funny too!

Older property, restaurants unavailable due to remodel. Rooms and furnishing from the 1980s

Golf course was well maintained. There is no range, but the greens and the fairways were well manicured. The course however was a bit too narrow for my taste. The staff were friendly and the pace was good.

The venue was very nice, I went their for a wedding and was happy with everything. The only thing that was a little inconvient is that the bathroom was a pretty for walk from the room the wedding reception took place in

Hotel is very nice and all of the food was wonderful. The staff was available for anything we needed.

Pools and hot tub were clean. Rooms were clean as well. The air conditioner ran well but was noisy, bathroom was ridiculously small, building intererior seems a bit dated

I've seen a few shows in the theatre and they are always high quality. Also as a venue there is not a bad seat in the entire place.

The hotel was nice and clean, the staff was friendly and polite as well. We had breakfast at one of the restaurants and it was decent but somewhat expensive. My biggest gripe was that they wanted $13/night for internet after charging $160/night for a stay internet should be included. It was a nice place, but it felt a bit like a money grab which annoyed me. I won't be back and will be cautious about any future Marriott bookings.

The staging and actors are professional and friendly, you feel like family.

Great food, hotel design and amenities and comfortable beds

Hotel is somewhat updated, but still seems to lag behind other hotels. It was difficult to get the room to a right temperature, it would be cold and then blast the heat and the cycle would repeat. Not bad, but nothing stands out.

Overall fine experience. Had to call IT to log onto WI-FI. Some of the resort seemed dated but you could definitely see renovations happening. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend.

Hotel is beautiful. The bar is casual, and the staff is attentive.

This review is for the the theater only. I came in as the show was starting and the staff was still kind enough to get me seated. The stage is surrounded by the audience so it makes the play I saw feel like you were in the play. The cast there is one of the best I have seen in awhile.

The resort is very nice, but they during the summer months they allow their club to blast music outdoors until 11pm. With the poor insulation in the rooms, you can very clearly here the thumping music. While 11 pm might work for some, in a resort, they need to better accommodate everyone s needs. Unfortunately when you have little ones or need to get to sleep early, this does not make for a good nights sleep. Our daughter had a soccer tournament the next morning and it was very disrupting. We called management and they could do nothing besides ask security to check the decibel level to see if it was within regulation. I m sorry but local regulations are not enough for what I have paid for my room and the reasonable expectation of a quiet night at a golf resort.

The hallways are so dark and dingy it is like walking down an alley at night.
