Great central N. Dallas location and excellent service. we stayed here for a week exploring N. Dallas area attractions and friends. Kids enjoyed pool. staff were professional and helpful.
Hotel is quite classical with free shuttle around 3 miles and some fixed time bound shuttle to Galleria mall and Wallmart and other shopping area nearby. Breakfast buffet is so so but I think its standard american breakfast, probably that's why.
I stayed for two days only and I had only breakfast there and it was good but not amazing, it is not a holiday hotel but good to stay in for few days, the location is good besides wallmart and there is stuff to do around
The hotel is really nice. Friendly staff. Everything you should expect from a 4 star hotel. We got upgraded to the extra lounge and got to take advantage of the few extra perks. Couple not so great things The pool seemed over chlorinated. There was a few glitchy electrical problems. One light in our room would turn on and off. And not all the lights on all elevators work. On top of our room charge. We're also charged 30 dollars a day for room and 15 a day for parking. Overall great stay. Perfect area. Helpful staff. Room was nice. Beds were comfy and clean. Next time were in the area, we still plan on staying here again.
Here for a professional conference, their catering is a bit subpar, and their rooms are not that great. It's hard to control the temperature and lights in the ballrooms.
We had a fantastic stay. The Staff was very nice, helpful and full of energy. We had a great breakfast, dinner and enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys play in the reception area. The shuttle to the Galleria mall was a big help. We will stay there again. Every person at the Hotel was super nice. This is what I call Texas friendly hospitality.
Very disappointed with the overall stay and service from this location. I could tell right off the top things weren t right from the trash can having trash in it let s me know the room wasn t cleaned properly from the beginning. Then we left to visit Dallas and saw the rooms service cleaning rooms on our floor but come back to the same towels and room looking the same. Not to mention I called and asked for towels and to notify the front desk what wasn t done and two trips later from the person they sent up to my room still NO face towels given. I will do my best to Never support the Marriot chain after this experience.
The receptionist pretty much ruined my day today. Just an advice, DO NOT tell your customers that you can't help them with something unless you give 100% effort to meet their needs. Very unprofessional. The hotel is definitely overpriced & and the rooms aren't worth 4 stars.
Wonderful room. Pleasant hotel in general. The staff were nice and helpful. The gym was probably the best gym/fitness center in a hotel. So definitely take advantage of that. The room was nice, clean and a great layout. The bathroom door was a frosty glass where you can see a silhouette but that's it. We ordered room service and had breakfast, it was delicious, great food for the price! My family and I enjoyed our stay and would stay again. I definitely recommend this hotel!
On our arrival we were a bit confused on how the parking worked, but eventually figured it out. Wasn't happy about being charged an extra $15 for parking. The interior of the hotel was very modern & nice. Got to our room & it too was nice. Then things went downhill. We had to call the front desk to get our strawberries & wine that was included in our romance package. Then again for a wine bottle opener. Then went down stairs for dinner, but ended up only having drinks & going else where for dinner, due to the disruptiveness of a VERY large sports group hanging out in the lobby. On our return to the hotel, we encountered 2 gentlemen who were smoking marijuana close to the entrance on the 2nd fl garage, making us have to walk through the smoke & making me feel very uneasy. Then after waking up the next morning & going down to have breakfast, the food on the buffet was luke warm if that, the biscuits tasted frozen, and the bacon was cold & soggy. The fruit was good, but very disappointed overall for what we paid for that package. Only an email saying thanks for your honest review... nothing else to make this right. Very disappointed.
Immediately turned off before I even entered for a conference, they have Handicap parking spots inside the secured valet parking area. Can't park there. Time to file a complaint with the municipality.
This Marriott is staffed with very friendly and inviting people. They have answered every question I had. This is a great place to spend a week. You are 20 to 30 minuteso away from everything in Dallas.
Front desk staff was helpful. Staff dressed up for halloween. Wait staff for lunch and breakfast was very nice and efficient. Attended a professional event and the event room was large and included a restroom.
It had surprisingly modern lobby lobby given the plain exterior. It had a nice bar/restaurant and a little corner coffee and pastry shop. My room was a little older, but very neat and clean. The staff was very friendly. I have no idea of the affordability, as my stay was paid for, but I'd recommend checking it out.
How this place earned 4-Stars I may never know. From being double billed to having an interaction with a rude security guard; "The pools closed!!!' 'Really, where's the sign?' 'There isn't one but it's closed!!!" Wow, that's the 4-Star treatment I was looking for!!! It's just a terrible place....
From a Titanium Elite member so i have stayed at hundreds of Marriott Properties. Would not provide any water bottles nor any concession for the lounge being closed. What every other Marriott does is provide water bottles and, when the lounge is closed, give points as an alternative.
The service was above normal. We used some meeting rooms for a week, and every one of the staff was beyond helpful. They actively anticipated needs and provided extras. Pool looks pretty, the gym is big. But no numbers on the weight stack on one machine.
Beautiful, impeccably maintained hotel in the heart of Addison and Far North Dallas. Close to bars and restaurants, so perfect for a place to carry things on should your evening go that way! Popular with business travelers, and location can't be beat. Bar near the lobby is very popular on the weekends and especially during special events in the area. A great place to stay at a reasonable price with great service and amenities.
This hotel is in the right place. There is a mall near the hotel where the hotel car goes. America has its own culture that is very difficult to explain. They are straightforward people. This can be gauged from the fact that they are immediately convinced by the news. Ordinary Americans are generally truthful. So they probably think that everyone is telling the truth. Tiping is part of American culture. People get angry when you don't give a tip. So keep the open money with you.
Have stayed at this hotel on at least 5 different occasions for business. Although the hotel is an older building, I have been happy with my stays here. The staff here are accommodating and friendly. There is a fee for parking, and the elevator in the parking garage is horrifically slow (should you choose to take it), but the hotel overall gets the job done.
If any one is looking for deals for hotels and resorts visit . made a reservation for a hotel on there and they had the best rates any where!
This hotel is elegant and live up to it's name. Very friendly and professional front desk. The bed feels awesome. Housekeeping does a great job on your room as well so let them know you appreciate it.
The hotel staff was very sociable, helpful and pleasant. From the front desk to the cleaning staff. Only drawback for me was that in the king size room I stayed,my 6 foot self found the size of the restroom difficult:P
Nice clean rooms with a great little pool for the kids to float. The staff was great; going beyond for customer service. I wish I remembered names, I would give them a shout out. Aside from the bar and coffee and snack shop, the couch and tv area was comfortable too. We will come again.
We spent an Anniversary weekend there recently and enjoyed the facility and staff quite a bit. The location was good for hitting the Galleria. We were a bit shocked at the cost of the buffet ($24) which wasn't that much better than other $12 buffets at other Marriott hotels.
Nice hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. However, not thrilled about having to pay to park AND for internet. I live locally and wanted a quiet place to study away from the distractions of home, kids, etc. If I knew that I was going to have to pay to park and for the internet (which I needed) I certainly would have went somewhere else. I expect to pay to park downtown but in Addison it feels like I'm being ripped off.
One of the best hotels I've stayed in, and I've visited hotels around the world. The renovations were beautiful and the service was exceptional. I was really impressed. Thank you.
Great place to have a conference. Only downside is the mass curated food is nothing to write home about and the parking situation can be frustrating. The machine ran out of tickets in the morning and it took us a while to get out when everyone left. Otherwise pretty solid.
Went to this hotel for a work related conference. The staff was amazing, the in house Starbucks, and the ballrooms we were in were nice. The chairs we had were a little uncomfortable and the lunch provided made some of our contestants a little sick. Overall I enjoyed the conference and the hotel and would stay here if applicable.
