The customer service at this hotel is terrible. My co workers and I waited over an hour for the shuttle to pick us up and each time we called we got a different time and bs explanation. Food is less than desirable...takes a long time to receive and then each time it has been cold and wrong. My pillow cases had stains on them, the room was classified as non smoking but someone in the room around me has been smoking both legal and illegal substances and when I complained I was told they would look into it...three days later I am still smelling cigarette smoke. TV doesn't work, and the Internet is temperamental. Long story short, I will never stay here again and I definitely do not recommend this hotel. There are several others around here that are less expensive and have better service.

The rooms are very clean. I am a Marriott Rewards member and found myself never getting what I requested which ranged from towels, an extra pillow, and more wash cloths. I did my requests through the mobile app and then calling. With each request I had to go to the front desk personally to get everything. I called from the pool to request more towels. After nearly an hour, they never came. We also hosted a large martial arts event here, the event went well and the facility was able to accommodate our event (roughly 100+ people) .

Went to friend's room to help her get ready for wedding. Staff polite, including front desk (provided info) and maid service (kindly stepped to the side when she saw us coming through with a big cart). Room looked nice and was well stocked, effective A/C, big/sunny/warm window :)

I have stayed at this pleasanton location this weekend and my experience turned out to be hell. The first night was fine until morning I see a housekeep creeping around in the room and I asked her to please leave as I did not need service. This is followed by 4 different times she came asking me if I need service and again and so on I say No! Well, I get ready and head out for the day and well lets just say my jewelery I just purchased for my wife cost me $3,700 was missing and my room was half ass cleaned. The housekeeping that was soo anxious to clean my room STOLE IT and its only obvious she found it and got scared and didnt even finish putting away the new towels she brought in and leaving the dirty old ones.

Very nice hotel. AC works great. Friendly staff. I was here because of a surgery my son had. We got back to the room at 2 AM. We were able to get a layer checkout since his post op was so late in the day. Only downfall is the cost of everything else. No free breakfast. No free water. Members only area.

Best staff of any hotel I've ever been to. After a 13 hour day at the office, I was walking to the elevators, and a janitor walked briskly ahead of me to get the elevator for me. I was constantly amazed and impressed by the attitudes and work ethic of the staff. I asked for running trails in the area, and a reception individual gave me a brochure with maps and directed me to trails close to the hotel which weren't on the map. I couldn't be more impressed!

After a long drive and being lost, stuck in San Francisco traffic we couldn't find a place where we felt safe to stay. Our first stop was right off the freeway in Emeryville (Gross) big mistake. I heard Pleasanton was a very nice town so I Google it found good reviews at Marriott with a reasonable price and even though it was 56 miles from where I was I took the chance and drove there and the very kind ladies at the reception area made it very easy and we're able to accommodate us even without having a reservation. Needless to say after all the frustration and driving it definitely paid off to stay here. Nice rooms, comfy beds and pillows. Overall was excellent.

I stayed at the Marriot thinking it was one of the better hotels but not the case. Bad parking, vehicle was broken into and property manager didn't want to do anything about it or help cover deductible. Security was no where to be found and what was done to my car, whoever did what they did have more than enough time. Bad area, do not advise to stay here.

I choose to give Pleasanton Marriot 4 stars because it is nice and nothing has been wrong but it's just average. they charge for breakfast and even to borrow a power strip to get ready for a wedding. But like I said, they def deserve the 4 stars. They have been kind and helpful and the rooms were clean.

The hotel was very clean and nice, but since the hotel is close to other marriott own hotels which made it a little difficult looking for on my gps. Also the elevator takes a long time to arrive.

I love this hotel. pool area is beautiful. beds are very comfortable. rooms are spacious as well as the restrooms. I had no problem with noise, housekeeping and room service was prompt. as I always request extra blankets, coffee and creamer and what not. I highly recommend this hotel. plus the mall is directly across the street!

This is a small hotel but I think it suits the atmosphere of the city of Pleasanton. The room is large and the room is clean and comfortable. You can feel safer than a friendly, high-class hotel in Stapp. I think that there are simple and sloppy people at bars, convenience stores, and breakfast venues, but I like it because it is not weird. I think it is a nice hotel, with free lemon water in the lobby.

The place looks clean. Nice lobby and restaurant/cafe area. The conference room wasn't so hard to find. Parking was ample and the location of the hotel is just off the freeway making it convenient to get to.

The rooms are luxurious, the staff is wonderful. Had more that a few issues connecting to the internet, but that was resolved with IT. The fitness center has loads of cardio, and a dysfunctional/inadequate A/C, so if your into "hot cardio" (which I'm not), you will love it. Resistance training equipment was limited to one set of nice hand weights (no machines), but all the dumbbells under 25pounds had been stolen, so bummer for most women. Check in was a breeze, but check out a problem since there were no luggage carts available between 1130 and 1230. I ended up making 6 trips to the 5th floor solo! Got my workout in!

Great place to stay BUT the breakfast format is a bit awkward. The dining section is closed off from the lobby and you need your room key to enter, but the awkward part is finding the food. The actual buffet is not in the room, you have to exit the back of the room, go across the back of the lobby into a partitioned area, get your food, then use your room key to get back in the dining section, and then find the silverware on one end of the dining room and beverages on the other. It's more effort than I'm used to for a hotel breakfast, just saying.
