Marriott Niagara Falls Gateway Hotel on the Falls Reviews

They have 2 towers across the street from each other. We booked a spa getaway and had to cross the road to go to it.... otherwise nice room.

Rooms are typical hotel for this price range, all have good view of falls. They lost 2 stars on the $40 per night parking fee. One Milestones restaurant that has a limited menu and is tourist priced. Better places are a short walk away. No breakfast included.

I love it I am at the very top floor ,thank your so much to the workers and everyone who have built this place and work in It!

Great location. Clean and comfortable rooms. The city view is nice but the falls view is spectacular. Sound carries a bit in the hallways and through the doors. Elevators are slow, so plan ahead for that if you need to be somewhere in a deadline.

Excellent facilities, enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub!
Parking was an inconvenience and a lot of the guests faced problem with the the problem during the long weekend. We bought a parking permit and even after the permit, we had to park very far away from the hotel. I hope the situation will improve.

The perfect wedding anniversary celebration vacation!! The Marriott staff and management as well as the spectacular view of the falls along with superb food! What a location!! Very nice in every way. The We Go stop is right out front, how convenient! WE love this place. Definitely recommend.

Pricey, but rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. and get a falls view room. Elevators are ALWAYS Busy though, so be prepared for some hiking up Silent Hill style stairs.

New renovated rooms are minimalist. Though eye catching, they are not practical for a multi night get a way. No dresser, no desks, no comfortable chair.

Excellent views and beautiful rooms.
But how on earth can a Hotel have a waiting line for guests to eat Breakfast?!?! This is unbelievable! 30+ min waiting just to get a table in the breakfast buffet, and seeing how thousands of tables were empty. Stupid system that only generates frustration on the guests and stress on the personel. Needs to be changed ASAP.

Nice, modern decor in main areas, room touched-up older, wi-fi only complimentary with 'certain' packages. On premise Starbucks doubles prices.

This Marriott sets the bar high for Niagara hotels. Brilliant concept!

I highly recommend this hotel. Friendly staff, clean rooms but the most important thing was the view of the falls, that detail made my stay just perfect.

I had stayed here for 4 days 3 nights in mid March. Room 2219. I must admit this was fantastic across the board! Hands down. From service to next to nothing noise transfers from room. Would recommend everyone staying in these rooms at least once. You wont want to leave. Thanks for the amazing Elite experience!

What a fantastic stay! Thank you to Rebecca at the front desk (Sunday afternoon) who made our stay comfortable. She was keen on delivering positive customer service and spoke to her supervisor to accommodate us!

Rooms were clean and the bed was super comfortable! The balcony view of the falls was fabulous!

They charge $35 for outdoor, unsecured parking. The hotel room was $200, it's crazy to charge over 25% of the room cost in parking.

Hotel was very nice! Got a room next to the falls (Fallsview) the hotel was renovated and the upgrades were good. Be careful of complementary water read the fine lines. There were a few casinos and many restaurants. Family hotel, four stars for valet parking one guy was kinda rude.

Falls view room has extrodinary view of the falls. Room is clean.

Our room was very clean and comfortable! We will be back on our next visit to the falls!

Stunning hotel with breathtaking views but no one speaks french

Excellent hotel in a good location overlooking Niagara Falls.

Bad bed, but was 1 of the 2 box springs. Nice view of waterfalls and food was Ok. Better than the greasy snack in grill restaurants and fast food. Libby was big and good. No free WiFi in the rooms, I think for this price very poor from his hotel. .

I give this motel a 5 star rating. I recently stayed there for my sons 5th birthday. I booked a loft style room. It had an amazing view of the falls. The room was beautiful. Very spacious. Lots of room for him to run around. The bed was comfortable.I requested early check in and did their best to accommodate me. They even called me to notify me my room was ready. This motel is beautiful and the staff are so friendly and go out of their way to help you. All areas are kept clean . The pool area is clean spacious. A change room and washrooms and showers in the pool area. The towels are well stocked there so you will never have to worry about having to be cold or wet the whole way back to your room. The pool and jacuzzi are well cared for and clean. Staff always coming in to make sure everything is neat and tidy. There's also tables and chairs lounge chairs.
We we checked in it only took 2 mins. When we got to the room I realized there wasn't a microwave so I called down and within 5 mins they were at my door with one. The next morning was my sons birthday. We went to the buffet at milestones for breakfast. The staff there are so friendly. As soon as they heard it was my sons birthday they brought him birthday pancakes with fruit and whip cream and a birthday sparkler in it. My son loved this he was so happy. Later that evening there was a knock a the door it was room service. They sent us up sparkling wine and a delicious chocolate cake. They said it was specially to us . That was so nice of the Marriott to do this for us. I cant wait to book here again. This place is amazing and you can tell the staff truly love their job. Thanks again to the Marriott for a truly unforgettable weekend .

I stayed in the grand presidential suite on the 20th floor. The room was absolutely beautiful.... but filthy. The toilet bowl had skid marks... their was spilt coffee along the side of the console table under the tv, we took off the seat cushions to see if there was a pullout and found some of the previous guests things, my mother almost stepped on glass when we first entered. For how expensive this room is and ESPECIALLY during corona- if you can t even keep the basic things clean I don t trust that everything is clean in here. Very disappointed.

Resort fee offers Parking, wifi, resort facilities to use. Its fallsview room has some blocking by the building in front, so couldn't look over the fall completely.

The room was beautiful and spacious. Close to the falls. Service was great. Downside is that you have to pay for parking even if you self park.

Booked one of the suites with a fall view. Room and view were amazing. Room service was excellent! Only complaint is walking up a flight of stairs carting my bags since an elevator doesn't go to the top floor. Would have been nice for someone to offer some help.

In the room you can directly see the waterfall and the fireworks show at night.

Nice hotel with a great view of the horseshoe falls. Their breakfast buffet is not worth it at 25 dollars per person, and the contents you'd get included at a Hampton Inn or Embassy Suites.

The room was clean, spacious, and had an incredible view of the falls. The WEGO bus stop right outside the hotel made it super easy to get around... we had an amazing experience here.

Visit in February 2 nocki, 16 floor, great views of Niagare Falls itself, small room, old furniture and old bathroom. Pool ok. Price pretty high without breakfast, I'm here five times once but worsened. A few years back was a great breakfast buffe very good, now it's down to TPS. For this price are hotels of the same class with breakfast and lunch.

Room was slightly old but was cheap compared to other options. Great view of the niagara falls included. Breakfast buffet was good. Overall good value for money. Good deal.

The view from the high floor was stunning but you have to pay the extra parking fee.
The views are nice and the rooms are neat. You have to pay for the parking, and the far end of the elevator has to look like the photo from the back. If you want to see the falls, I recommend you get to the front as far as possible.

Not crowded and everyone kept their social distance. We booked directly through their website and gambled on the superior room. We got the 28th floor. I find most issues arise when you book through third party agencies like Expedia etc. View was better than we expected and my small children loved it day and especially at night. Room was clean and modern. Not enough lighting in the room. A family of four wouldn't be able to eat in comfortably. Needed larger refuse bins as they only collect after you check out. Check out time was slow as everyone left at 11 and elevators carried fewer people per ride. Parking was few as the evening passed and there was a fear of not finding a spot as none are guaranteed. Complimentary Wego passes were nice but useful only for near locations like Clifton Hill.

Room was clean, view was great. Underground parking and outdoor parking have an additional $35/ night charge... so mentally prepare for that. Girlfriend was impressed, King Bed, Big Room, Great View. Definitely would come again.

Had the high floor (29th) room with a view towards the falls. Perfect . The hotel has 31 floors. I think around 21st floor would be the best view though as u could see the falls while lying on bed (couldn t do that on 29th floor).

Some of the BEST service we have ever received. Most notably, one of our kids was sick on one of our days there (for a dance competition). Some staff was in the elevator while we were telling some other dancers about it. The ladies asked what room we were in, and said they would see about sending soup up for her or something. A few hours later, they arrived with some drinks and a plate of good with a "get well soon" note. Aside from this, every staff member we dealt with during our stay was fantastic. Would absolutely recommend. The only issue we had was very slow elevators (especially to the 27th floor)

Public washrooms were not clean and the men s doors have been broken since my last trip!

I ate at the Milestone restaurant and the food was great. The service was pretty quick and the atmosphere was so inviting, that my friends and I had a fabulous and memorable time.

Great hotel excellent service, well decorated for Christmas time.
