Visited lake home and cabin show again this past weekend. Great place for a show like this.
Spent a great night here. The place was clean, rooms nice, and breakfast tasty.
The staff here really stepped up to the plate to host our convention of nearly 700 people! When a place down the street couldn't accommodate us for dinner, the staff whipped it together quickly and keep it coming to ensure we were taken care of. We had a wonderful experience. Your staff Inspires me!
Large space. Good for professional events. Food was overpriced.
This hotel was beautiful and the conference center was easy to work with. However, the hotel staff was not as helpful as I would have like. We had documents we needed to print for our event and the business center was dissappointing. The Mac computer available needed to be restarted and still struggled to work. When we finally got the document to print, the printer did a great job.
Vegas atmosphere, well appointed rooms with exceptional dining options.
A fantastic hotel and a great price. Has a great ambiance. Definitely worth a stay.
Great place to visit! I rocked the room out with the Bluetooth speaker :) They have a shuttle and I recommend checking out level 257 at the mall.
I was here for aquatic experience 2016. I wish the wifi was easier to access. The lobby is very nice with lots of comfortable seating.
If I could give this hotel, its app and the staff less than one star I most certainly would. Unfortunately although the hotel is nice I cannot even say the room redeemed itself.
From the start the app allowed me to specify 1 room double beds. Upon arrival I was told there are no double beds left. The reservation was for 4 people and to get a cot cost $20. They would not even work with me to make it right.
Despite being told by three different people, and all others in our group was given, early check-in was available our room was ready 10 minutes after normal check-in. Again no working with us on comping the cot that wouldn't be necessary if we had our reserved double beds.
Then when we finally arrived at our room we were treated with a nice subtle smell of cigarette smoke.
If you must stay here I am sorry, if you have a choice do yourself a favor and save yourself some stress by choosing another hotel.
All of the staff I had interactions with were very pleasant and helpful. I forgot my contact case and the front desk delivered one to my room at no charge! The room was beautiful. I was staying at the hotel for a convention I was attending and all of the rooms used for the convention were spacious and nicely styled. I really liked that this hotel has a Starbucks!! The common areas are very inviting.
Enjoyed our stay, furnishings are showing age a bit, but the place is clean and still a beautiful hotel.
Beautiful place. Had our annual company dinner here and was so impressed with the space, staff and food!
It was in large conference center. Very well organized, clean, and staff was great.
Still in the midst of the convention, but going well.
Went to Renaissance for an event and even though the security line was thorough & long, the event stay was quick to help. Parking was full in premises, but there ample parking across the street.
Great place to hold conventions in very new and stylish great place to stay whenever you're in Schaumburg
Beautiful lobby. We had a mini-reunion of 30 people and met in the lobby for dinner and drinks. Cozy fireplace.
The hotel is amazing. The room and bedding are comfortable. The decor is new and inviting. Great staff. The pool and gym are one of the best facilities I have experienced. Attendant brought me a bottled water while I was running on tread mill. I'm felt pampered the whole time. Only wish my stay was longer.
Hi, I stayed at Renaissance Schaumberg during 1-6 Dec 2013 for a company business meet.
The hotel is good, although they charge extra uselessly for WiFi!!
The afterstay feedback and support is extremely POOR!
I had been requesting the hotel to send me a copy of my actual checkout bill since past 45 days.
I have called at the hotel atleast 12-15 times. Each time, the reception transfers my call to "accounting section" and to my astonishment all through the day, they are away from their desk.
Even when I escalated this to them, I was transferred to Director Finance who was again "out for some work". This is not acceptable. Had it been Singapore, where I live, heads would have definitely rolled for missing such "basic service"!

I attended AdeptiCon 2016 at the Renaissance. Facilities were spacious, clean, and well run.
Great hotel. Issue with computer system being down when we checked in.
Upon arrival, Normen at the front desk, was friendly and geniunely appeared to enjoy his job. He made sure we were taken care of and had our choice of room location. The room was lovely as always, and the bed was very comfortable. This stay was a reminder of why I choose this hotel when I stay in the area.
The booking department somehow misplaced my reservation. I don't what exactly happened, but it almost ruined my friend's wedding weekend. Also, he (the groom) was not able to get a room until 2 hours after, despite booking months in advance. Apparently, they overbooked with another event. Kind of ridiculous.
The hotel was very easy to find and was refreshingly updated. Our room was very clean. Netflix on the tvs was a nice touch.
Service was excellent! Ballroom event was top notch.
Went to Mecum Auto Auction, well laid out, easy parking and shuttle service. Well organized.
A very lively place to stay. Lots of options on property for dining and close proximity
Do not book a convention at this hotel. We attended the BrickWorld convention and will never get near that hotel again. When leaving, you drive through a "red light camera" which, in theory, I don't mind. Except in this town, they have a special ordinance that says you need to be stopped for 4 seconds before taking a right on red. So they screw all the out-of-towners. The town makes over $400,000/year off the one camera that got us. That's an extra $100 fee that you can't contest. This is a scummy area and if you book your convention there, you will have a bunch of unhappy customers who will forever associated your convention with being scammed.
The location is great and there are a few entrances that are not marked which could be confusing. The convention hall that we were in was really nice and seemed to be well kept. The service that was provided at the location was awesome!
Visited for Adepicon 2017 and had a great time. It was a upscale and clean establishment.
Great hotel. Attended a large event here. Lot of space and great setup. Rooms are really nice as well. Good location in Schaumburg.
Professional and attentive staff and the facility was very pleasant.
I gave this a 1 star because this hotel is loud! Do not stay here if you're looking for a relaxing 4 star + quiet hotel. I thought that's what a hotel is (relaxing) but this place is everyone is partying and very loud. All the rooms surround a open lobby area and all the noises carry up into the rooms. The walls are paper thin. You can hear people talk in the next room, play loud music, and so on. I was woken up at 7 am by the neighbor having a dance party. The air conditioning unit in my room sounded like a car was starting every time it turned on. Wish I picked a different hotel.
I visited my son for a wedding reception here, but the staff were friendly and the food tastes were excellent.
I was there for Brickworld, and I thought the space was good and the exhibits were fantastic.
Visited the RV show was very nice and very informative
My daughter had a cheer competition here. Easily accessible location and parking was free. Concessions are very expensive, $7 for a 16 oz bottle of water
Great hotel! Repeat guest. Always a good experience.
Three adults and three children; we attended the Kid's Expo. The kids had an awesome time, as there were vendors, a petting zoo, giveaways, discounts for future kid activities, people making balloon characters, and lots of freebies! I would say though, that it was absolutely ridiculous to have no food at all for guests while visiting. We attended the echo on March 31st (2017) and were there from the time it opened at 3pm until 7:30... NO FOOD?! Being open from 3 to 9 p.m., there NEEDS to be food available! This was really upsetting. Other than that, the kid Expo is an awesome place to take your kids for almost an entire day's fun!! BRING YOUR OWN FOOD, otherwise you may need to purchase food at the hotel's steak house. That could get pretty pricey.
The Center is nice! Went to Brickworld. It was amazing!
Had a work event in one of the ballrooms, it was beautifully decorated and the food was great! Loved the room! Very comfortable bed and got to watch some hbo while getting ready!
Nice lobby and ballrooms... Didn't visit any other floors
Very nice location west of Chicago to host events. Also a good place to go for locals to get lunch
Great location and nice conference center for professional events.
