The hotel looks and feels nice. But it was painful to check in, the sheets and pillows were dirty, and it took them 40 min to get replacements. For the amount we paid, on top of parking, I think they could do better.
This hotel is quite nice. The staff were nice and helpful and the restaurant was amazing.
Rooms can be oddly shaped but they are well furnished
Staff service is awesome, lobby and other common areas are great however, while the rooms are very nice, they seemed a bit small for my liking
we had our daughter's wedding at the renaissance Dallas on October 6 , 2018 our experience was amazing! Katie and Cristina were both amazing ladies and we had the pleasure to work with them through the wedding planing , the night of the wedding went perfect and every thing as planned for the chef is one of the best no doubt , my guests loved the amazing food and beautiful presentation . The whole staff did tier best I would give the Renaissance Dallas hotel and their whole staff 10 stars for their friendly , professional work.
Got upgraded to executive suite at 26th Floor. Amazing view of the Dallas Skyline. Very nice and spacious rooms. The only negative point would be that the bathroom is very small.
Overpriced for a tiny room with out of date fixtures and in need of repairs.
Superb location, extremely clean and maintained. Lovely rooftop pool.
Ask for the dallas downtown side on the hotel stay. The view on the other side is pretty bad. Other than that, no complaints really.
The hotel and staff are wonderful. Accommodations and amenities have been nice. Unfortunately, the hotel is not within walking distance of restaurants, entertainment or convenience markets.
Comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Unfortunately parking is problematic
Front desk staff amazing, restaurant had wonderful food, but our waiter wasn't that great. (He was pretty slow then overcharged us by 20 dollars)
It was very clean, friendly staff and very nice decor
Nice enough, very friendly staff... Doors are paper thin though and the surrounding location isn't great.
The hotel and rooms are beautiful and comfortable.
My only complaint is with the restaurant and bar staff. They seemed overwhelmed even though they weren't terribly busy.
Our rooms were large and well maintained.
Room service was quick, but not super impressive. A pot of coffee should be served in a pot, not a box.
The hotel was great, but the food and drinks did not match the looks and comfort if the property.
This hotel was lovely. Haven t been let down thus far. I went for my anniversary and was treated like royalty. Very affordable, clean and staff are always professional.
Loved this location, the view, tge service and the shrimp and grits were awesome
Super comfy bed, great AC, excellent front desk staffer and quick checkin. Room has safe, minifrig, good TV, and extra vanity with sink outside the bathroom. Only negative- hot water took a long time to arrive
The room was nice & staff were polite, HOWEVER, everything besides sleeping in the room is an extra fee. Parking was $15- not valet, just regular parking in the lot- and that is per day. I didn't realize my car was renting its own room! Wi-Fi and television are also an extra charges. Maybe I am just a hopeless middle classer, but these are things I expect to be included for free, ESPECIALLY the parking. If you've got plenty of extra money, then go for it, I guess. I will be looking for a different hotel to stay at next year.
Nice waiting room, friendly staff and exceptional service.
Came to Dallas for a two day (overnight) medical conference held at the Renaissance. The hotel was perfect for that purpose with spacious and well appointed conference rooms. The meals and breakout snacks were catered by the hotel and were acceptable mid-high end level. Staff were friendly, and despite initially giving me a room that someone was already in, they were able to sort it out after a bit of a wait. And that snafu cost them the star. Thankfully no one was in the room when I entered and I was saved from a potentially embarrassing confrontation. Room was clean and fairly standard for its price point. Nothing special. Stayed in a king size room. One negative about the room is a lack of an easily accessible plug for a laptop at the desk. I had to crawl under the desk to plug in. Minor annoyance but a detail worth fixing. Oh -the bar had a very passable smoked old fashioned.
Hotel lobby is nice as well as the restaurant and other public spaces. Staff is very friendly and professional. The rooms are the only down fall. Very out dated and small. Popcorn ceiling and peeling wall paper.
We have had our room reserved since June 2018 for a 5 day girls trip and we just got booted to another inconvenient hotel for the first night due to overbooking. Not happy! The most frustrating part was that another guest checked in while we were waiting to see the manager. Really? That is just not right. The manager was kind and professional but that s really not good enough at this point. Four women unpacking, repacking and moving in the middle of a trip is not how we wanted to start our trip. We booked 6 months in advance for a reason. I ave been staying at this hotel with these 3 women twice a year for 13 years. At minimum, let us know ahead of time. Get it together!
The hotel itself was amazing. The conference attended offered up great food and the staff was helpful and kind. The roof gym was amazing
Vety nice rooms. Great service. Wondetful breakfast. Wish I could always stay here.
Rooms are updated but the walls are paper thin so you can hear everything in the rooms next to you and above you including phone alarms. Plus the plumbing isn't that great. Staff was very friendly though and their bar/lounge was great.
One of the nicest hotels in Dallas. The level of service the staff provides is impeccable. Alot of care and ownership taken.
A great place to stay when traveling on business to the Dallas metro area. The Renaissance Dallas is an attractive modern hotel not far from downtown Dallas. My room was spacious enough, clean, and up to date. The bed was comfortable, and there were power outlets and USB ports on either side of the bed. The shower in my corner room was on the small side but worked well with both overhead and handheld heads.
Breakfast in the downstairs restaurant was very good, though the buffet selection was somewhat small. The one strange quirk I found was that the fitness center is located on the 31st floor, which requires taking an elevator to the 30th floor and then locating the stairwell and ascending four flights of stairs to the rooftop, which is also where the pool is located. While I had no difficulty getting there, this can be difficult for those with physical disabilities. The hotel offers valet or self-parking (not included). Overall my two-night stay was pleasant and I would stay at the Renaissance Dallas again.
Always a great staff experience. Clean room. Great atmosphere. Good dining options
Great, comfortable hotel. I especially loved the shower & the bed was comfortable. Hotel staff were friendly, helpful and soothing after a stressful day.
Great hotel. Big tower with superb amenities. Be prepared to pay for overpriced parking and have to pa each time you leave. Would stay for the experience and view of the Dallas skyline.
A luxury hotel that makes you feel welcomed and the lobby has perfect lighting. I had a beautiful view of their garden, feels like an oasis away from Dallas. Amenities are the pool, gym and asphalt trail.
Everything was great until I realized I had left something in my room. It can be replaced, and it s not expensive or sentimental, but they clearly employ someone who thinks it s ok to take something that s not theirs.
The service was so welcoming and the rooms are great.
No refrigerator in room. Parking is expensive. Prices in the hotel are expensive.
Staff was great, but room was dated. They are in the middle of the renovations which can be heard through the building. I liked the express elevator system, it made getting up and down so much faster. Fitness center was pretty good for a hotel. The bar was good (be sure to get the guacamole). Was disappointed that my platinum status wasn t more recognized like other Marriott properties.
As a designer and worked with several Hotels and venues, I think this hotel and my experience is one of the best. I had wedding and I worked with Kristen Hoggatt and her teams. They are so kind and so helpful. Wedding ceremony and reception and everything about food was perfect.I can try to explain the awesomeness of this hotel and the staff but until you actually walk the through the beautiful scenery yourself.Everything about our experience was amazing

Stayed one night for Valentine's weekend. Staff was friendly and efficient checking us in and taking care of us at the restaurant (we went for a few drinks and dessert after having had dinner elsewhere). We had a Cozy King room with a romantic view over the city from high up through a large window. The bed was comfy and the room was indeed cozy as it was mostly bed. The room had a door that connected to the neighboring room and we could hear the gentleman next door sneezing when we first arrived. The shower door didn't close completely due to the misfitted rubber seal, so water went all over the bathroom floor leaving it cold and wet through the next morning, despite our best efforts with the towels we had.
Hotel claims they have an electric plug for ev vehicles. I was shown a regular household plug in the garage that only reached 12 amps.
Very pleasant experience. The rooms have been updated and ours smelled clean and fresh. I loved the walk in shower and the TV set was nice and big. Single serve coffee pot in the room was perfect before going downstairs to enjoy a continental breakfast.
Service is excellent. The entire staff is friendly, polite and professional. In the evening they have complimentary cookies at the check in desk. Very nice.
The hotel and rooms are very nice and we'll planned. The internet service is not good.
Excellent hotel, parking is a little steep, but easily doable for a place like this. Loved everything else about this hotel.
I had an over night stay because of a meet for work the next day. I had dinner in the restaurant, not impressed because my food was over cooked. The only microwave is on the 30th floor. I was also disappointed that the only way to order pizza was through room service, which charges a 5.00 delivery fee. The staff was super friendly and I was able to get a complimentary deodorant from the desk.
Very clean, classy and up to date. Staff was friendly.
Beautiful hotel, friendly amazing staff and big comfy rooms! I COULDN'T ask for more
The service was good. Waiter's are nice. The rooms are big and nice. The lobby is beautiful.
Wonderful hotel with courteous staff and a scrumptious restaurant/bar available on site.
Great! The accomodations were amazing fo the corporate event that I attended.
Nice hotel overall. AVEDA toiletries are a pleasant surprise!
Hotels needs to add cotton sheets and not polyester. Hard to sleep in polyester
Loved this hotel. Highly recommend this place for anyone. We brought our New Years in at this place and out of all the hotels im glad we chose this place. Very professional staff. Only thing I would recommend is adding microwaves to a couple of floors. If you are staying at this hotel and need to use a microwave you have to go all the way up to the gym/pool/laundry area that is on the rooftop. Which you have to get off on the 30th floor and walk up the stairs the rest of the way.
Very nice and especially cleaned if it's worth paying what they charge
I didn't stay here. The lobby is beautiful. I was amazed at how loud the musica was at our evento however you couldnt hear anything until you reached right around the corner. The staff was great.
Pretty hotel but I had brown water coming out of my sink and some coworkers had what appeared to be vomit back flowing into their tub on a daily basis. Hotel kept saying it was fixed but it kept happening. Yuck.
Simply stunning hotel with a great staff. Our event here has been wonderful!
You will find no better hostess as Debra in the Executive Longe!!
Was part of a convention here. Great venue with very helpful and friendly associates.
The place was great! Definitely go back again! Close to restaurants and entertainment and beds are comfortable and AC rocks!!
It's a small hotel with only one restaurant. I loved the convention space and it was very clean. Extremely limited in room dining. No waffles :(
Initially there was a card issue and they said they would call us when it's updated or if they needed anything as they worked on it...but no call. Instead, my coworker and I each arrived at our rooms to find the key card was deactivated. A simple call would have been great and avoided the annoyance, as I was carrying a bit of stuff.
Lastly on the final day of our convention, my coworker was stuck on his floor for over 10 minutes waiting for the elevator and many people seemed to be affected as there was a line of complaints about it at the desk.
I asked if there were other ways he could get down and they said no - that's unnerving.
Overall the staff was very kind and helpful. I would gladly stay there again on business but for leisure i definitely would want to stay at a hotel with more restaurants, better communication and more robust in room dining though.
It was okay, the staff thinks they are better than the guests that stay there.
