Took care of us when we had an emergency and needed last minute rooming. Super friendly!
Had an excellent stay here, twice. Rooms are very clean, great amenities, very good food and drinks downstairs and they brought up a bottle of wine for my wife and I since it was her birthday. The staff are also extremely helpful and friendly. Great hotel and we will stay here again in the future.
This was my first trip to Dallas. The hotel was chosen by my friend's company for it's proximity to the show site. The employees obviously love their jobs. The service was top notch. The food was on the pricey side; but, very good. As others have stated, expect to pay for parking; both self-park & valet.
Remodeled and updated. Very nice place and the staff is very nice also. Great for corporate events.
The room was clean and the hotel was very nice. Staff was friendly. Would stay there again.
This is one of the highest quality hotels I've gotten to stay in. It feels very luxurious and elegant, but the price is not near as high as other like establishments in the area. The staff are so helpful and professional. And the laid-back entertainment in the lobby area is such a nice and relaxing treat.
I do wish, as with every hotel I stay at several times over the years, that they would add a little variety into their in-room dining menu. But I can imagine that's a complicated undertaking, so I can't fault them for that.
Beautiful building, but the service offered by the staff was surprisingly mediocre.
Hotel itself is great. Parking is a joke and at $18 a day minimum.. Frustrating. Spots are marked so narrow trying to cram people in that people have to be great at parking or there are spots everywhere that are completely unusable by anyone else.
Really great staff! Conference food needs some work.
It's a nice hotel, but the bed had stains and the interior is from 1985.
Had a great time every one was very informative and knowlegable and very clean and sanitary place, Had a wonder full time and a very safe and secure place, more than enough staff to keep everything clean from infections
First Class Hotel with First Class Service! I would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends!
Nice hotel. Rooms becoming a bit dated. Customer service is excellent.
Friendly accommodating staff. Was not an overnight guest, just attended an event, but the hotel is gorgeous!
Some good rooms, some not so good. And the bad rooms are all mixed in next to the good rooms. Hope you get a good neighbor.
Elegant, grand, suave and polished are the words that I would use to describe this hotel. I should also include that it is lovely inside. I only stayed at this hotel for one night but that one night definitely left an impression on me. I was upgraded to a suite on the 28th floor. Check out the pictures that I took. Everything was very stylish. The club lounge on the 27th floor has great views of downtown Dallas.
Had a great stay here, room was nice. Workout room was also nice on the top floor with the pool.
The rooms here are great. The atmosphere here is wonderful. And the Breakfast was perfect. The restaurant called The Asador was wonderful.
Stayed here for my bachelorette party and it was awesome! The rooms are very spacious and the maids do an amazing job!
Amazing restaurant, decent accommodations, absolutely terrible and entirely overpriced wifi.
I stayed for 1 day and as soon I got there. The front desk was pleasant, they told me that there was construction going on in some of the upper floors and I would probably hear some noise. I was totally fine with that as I was there for one day as a speaker for a conference. I was in room 1821 pictures attached. I was famished and I ordered room service after looking at the menu that I found on my bed. I ordered a Gluten free burger with some veggies on side it normally comes with fries. I got the food pretty fast like in 10 mintues and I didn't bother to look inside of the bag till like 30 mintues later as I was heavily invovled in work. I got a call from the service desk saying "hey did you get the correct order" I said yea but I didn't even look. I hung up and I finally looked at the bag and yep I got the wrong order. I called them back and said that I was wrong and I didnt' get a burger instead I got 2 ham sandwiches, I was transferred to the supervisor and she was very polite and said "sorry" we got it wrong. She came up to my room and game me the correct order and said "go ahead and keep sandwiches, it was our mistake" so I got free food :)
Super impressive so far. Work Training Visit, super easy check-in Even though I left my Datebook in the Uber! Check-in and then let me make calls to get it back!
Nice hotel. Large rooms. Lots of machines in the gym.
Thermonuclear toilets. Everyone knows when you flush, including the rooms next door. Don't even try it at night if you're not the only one in the room. Also the pocket door doesn't block much of any kind of bathroom sound. FYI. Very chick and hip place otherwise.
You have to pay around $15 to park there. Just fyi. Rooms need updating.
Outstanding staff attention and all around lovely people
Here for a meeting so I can not discuss the room, but the meeting place was large and clean.
Parking is at a premium. Parking spaces, if you can call them "spaces," are terribly tight. Wi-Fi has a cost, and the hotel is already slightly pricey for the meager accommodations
Great hotel with really awesome restaurant
That is not usually the case at hotels but this place is cool with excellent food and great cocktails, wine and beer.
We travel with our dogs, one of which is about 110 pounds. That makes for quite a challenge when it comes to finding decent accommodations. Without a doubt, the Argonaut was THE nicest pet friendly hotel we stayed at. Very accommodating and friendly staff. The dog beds were a nice touch. Keep it up Skipton Hotels! A little on the pricey side, but worth it!
first, they did not reserve a king bed room for me as reserved, I ended up with double queen bed with the same price. second, even tho i got charged on priceline, i still got a credit card charge from the hotel with same amount i have paid, this is ridiculous!
Nice hotel for conventions. Missed more bar / restaurant options.
Awesome hotel, didn't really care for the parking gate. I guess it keeps the place safe. The place is beautiful and it seems to have everything you need for a good experience.
Sleek and large as you would expect in Dallas with a decent sized concierge level. Rooms are well appointed
Service is great. Wish the elevators didn't take so long to get to you. Otherwise a good experience.
Elegant hotel. Beautiful view from rooms. Friendly staff.
From check in to check out was amazing. Brought my girlfriend here for her birthday and she loved it. Everyone made us feel very welcome. And a special thanks to Logan
Wonderful get away. We love everything especially the hot tub on the roof
Good location, poor parking and very wild traffic issues in the area.
Had dinner in the restaurant and the food was delicious!
I love this hotel. Extremely nice. I ve stayed a few times and it s a great choice.
Was on a short business trip. staff in the conceriege lounge were great and Carlos at the restaurant. No issues..
I sat in the parking lot waiting for someone. It was a very dark parking lot. That is a known high crime area so I am shocked that a place as opulent and exclusive as The Renaissance Dallas doesn't even have lights in the parking area at the main entrance. The street person had no trouble slinking around in the shadows looking for a nefarious opportunity and it was obvious he was casing the luxury vehicles. I was trying to keep an eye on him but the lack of lighting allowed him to sneak up on me three times in 13 minutes. As I was only there to pick up a hotel guest, the parking area was the only thing I can review about this establishment.
Went for a benefit event and banquet. I was impressed with the service, and food.
Stayed one night & attended a seminar. Nice room & service.
I ended up in a end room, way too small with just a single twin (they called it a queen sized bed)bed. If you stay here do whatever you can to not stay in the end rooms. The elevators in this hotel are pretty crazy you put in your floor number and it tells you which elevator to go in to once you are in the elevator you can not add a floor to stop on...weird.
We stay here at least once a year. It's always a great experience and the staff is more than accommodating.
Not at all a hotel that deserves the "Renaissance" tag. This place needs a major up haul.
