Pretty decent Marriott - probably the best option in the Fisherman's Wharf area. Clean rooms, nice bar downstairs, and friendly staff. I would stay here over other Marriotts in the area again.

Great hotel in a great location. Very friendly staff from checkin to the checkout. Lily at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. The beds whe really comfortable. Location in fisherman's wharf is convenient as well as short walk to two different cable cars.

What a wonderful place, friendly staff, open lobby decorated for the holidays. Greeted at check-in with smiles and cookies. All elevators accessed by room keys only. Each floor has an sitting area outside the elevators with a skylight on the 5th floor. Rooms are big and open. Nice counters and decorations. Bathroom is very big and open with lots of counter space and easy walk in shower. Location is excellent just a 2 blocks away from fisherman's wharf and all that goes with it.

I am a Elite Silver customer with Marriot.

I am a Elite Silver customer with Marriot.

I have stayed at many Marriotts around the world for business and pleasure.

I always received great service.

However, I had a horrible experience and received very poor service at Marriott Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco.

The employees and Managers at this Hotel really need to be properly trained on customer service.

Very poor customer service.

The hotel has been renovated and the rooms are extremely clean. Not that we stayed inside much, but the TV has built in Netflix and Hulu, so you don't have to worry about connecting a Chromecast or your phone directly to the TV.

Walking distance to the wharf which has everything. Hotel is nice that it appears, but no club lounge which is unlike any other full blown marriott. Concierge is very helpful in locating and planning your activities.

If you want to be in this area the Marriott at fisherman's wharf is a great hotel option, they we're slightly cheaper than other hotels in the surrounding areas, and it dead smack in the middle of everything that goes on in the fisherman's wharf area. We took a boat to the Bay Bridge, and did the Alcatraz tour which was all within 1/2 mile away. Definitely will consider this area if I come back.

Nice hotel

Nice hotel
Dropped a star due to:
- Bar staff seemed like they couldn't be bothered (regardless of time of day)
- there was a constant thumping in the rooms. Not sure if it was toilets flushing (pipes) or doors slamming. Not a major problem, but noticable all 4 nights (didn't lose sleep over it)

Contrast to the bar staff, hotel and desk staff were amazing - super friendly and helpful!

The hotel, its facilities, are very good, but there are things that "break" the budget!
For example ... wifi in the room ... US 12.95 + Tax per day, parking at the hotel ... US 59 + tax, no breakfast ... US 27 at the hotel continental breakfast, the Lobby computer to check-in the flights, you have to pay US 0.49 a minute and US $ 1.50 the printing !!!
While I repeat, the hotel is good in its facilities, back to San Francisco would seriously consider re-signing it!

We stayed last week in this hotel. Room was nice but when we went for breakfast we had an horrible experience. Food service employees are so mean and they insulted us very roughly.I am platinum member and stayed in hundreds of hotels. Nobody treated so bad . I will never stay in this hotel again. I hope the manager take some action about these food service employees and also give them better training so they know how to treat their customers.

Good hotel close to a lot. Easy to get in and out. Could have been a bit cleaner and not sure I'd stay in the heart of Fisherman's Wharf if I had it to do again. Overall, it was a good, central location for us to do our exploring.

Stay at about 50 Marriotts a year. Was told my room was not available yet near 5pm. Their reasoning was that they had full occupancy the night before and not enough cleaners because of COVID. Either you need more cleaners, certainly during a pandemic, or need to not book the entire hotel short handed? To make things even worse the front desk representative was extremely rude and short. Avoid this hotel!

Upon arrival we were treated very poorly by Allen Chin. Without leaving the hotel lobby he decided our car was too big to fit in their lot, which has 6 ft. 6in. Of clearance, despite our car being 6 ft 2in. We watched several other cars, larger and taller than ours, fit into the lot after ours. He then directed us to two lots which were both closed then told us to park on the street. We found the car with a window smashed and $1500 worth of goods stolen. After reporting the incident, their manager, Flora Torres, implied that we were lying about our interaction with Mr.Chin and took no blame for the situation. Next time you are looking for a hotel in San Francisco I suggest one that cares about their customers.

Great hotel. Staff was incredibly accomadating. Received great recommendations from the concierges. We could not check in early due to the hotel being incredibly busy, but other than that, it was a great hotel and we will be staying here on all of our future trips to San Francisco

Wow. I'm normally not used to be pampered like this but from the moment I pulled in the valet. It was official. I was welcomed with a smile and nice parking lot service. The check in process was cool and informative. Very clean and tidy with a full bar and restaurant in the vicinity. There is fully a stocked gym, equipped with laundry, and free coffee with other drinks available. The room was comfy and spacious. Definitely going back to visit. Thank u staff with the great service.

As a gold elite member, I asked for a better view, since I was on the inside looking at the other corners of the hotel, and was told they had no better views at the hotel. I find it hard to believe there are no views from a hotel in downtown San Francisco.

Newly remodeled with very courteous and helpful staff. Cookies are available late in the afternoon at the front desk. It's in a great location, only being a 10 minute walk from the pier and great breakfast places.

We wanted to go visit San Francisco and we're looking for a place near fisherman's wharf. This hotel was close and had spacious rooms and were comfortable and my family enjoyed our time in the city.

Location is very nice. We did not say in a room. Only there for a work seminar. The Conference room is very wear out and could use a refresh. Also, parking at the location is $54.00 plus tip. Could have parked across the street for half the price. Had to wait approximately 20 minutes for the car. Only two valet's with over 200 people at seminar.

Great location, close to piers and a 9 min walk from Lombard Street. Great customer service by Flordeliz Torres, she helped us find our membership number so we didn t have to pay for the internet at $12,95 per day. She also helped my daughter print her homework she needed to work on.
Thank you Flordeliz, people like you make us come back to Marriott hotels.

The service is great and the rooms are adequately maintained. The location is fantastic for sightseeing. The only reason I can't give this hotel 4 stars is that in-room wifi is not free. The in room wifi is somehow tied to the local/long distance use of the in room phone which hasn't been relevant in over a decade.

If you have kids or happen to be there for work, the wifi is a necessity these days and while there is free WiFi in the lobby it does not extend to the rooms. This is a common theme at Marriott properties and why I usually stay at Hilton properties for business travel when I can.

Suggestion to the upper management is to look at what your business traveler's basic needs are. Good free wifi is no longer an amenity but a requirement. Or at least keep the cost under what an airline charges.
