Nice place. luggage carts of scares, remember to add $60 the cost of the room for parking
Location was excellent, price was a little on the expensive side but that's to be expected
Central location to most of the tourist stuff in the city. Very cozy and staff is very helpful
We loved staying at this hotel. The rooms were nice, bed great, everything was clean, lobby comfortable and I just can t say enough good things about the front desk staff. They were so helpful and accommodating. They even held our bags for us when we returned from our cruise while we did a little sightseeing before our flight. Beyond great!!
I love the place, i love the service! Good job you guys
Great Hotel, professional staff with great Amenities, and Lounge bar in the lobby.
Beautiful. You get what you pay for. Excellent location.
Very close proximity to fishermans wharf and pier 39 as well as a fresh cooked breakfast! Also very close to an In-n- out and krispy kreme
It was a nice place but the food was very expensive.
The area is quite central is walking distance to McDonald's, Starbucks, Ross and many more plus it's also walking distance to the boat for Alcatraz. The famous prison. It's quite a cozy hotel and some of the staff are nice. The breakfast staff are very polite and helpful (the Hindu lady and the man in particular). It's a very nice area to stay in and I really enjoyed my stay there.
Very friendly and very secure. Booked the wrong date and they're still able to refund me and give me a room on the spot. They also have a nice fitness center and pool.
Location very shady, however newly renovated rooms, feels like a Five-star
The staff was very helpful with things to do and restaurant recommendations. The rooms were nice and clean. Good location.
Beautiful place. Great service. Excellent food. Pier 39 within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.
The rooms are beautiful and the location is Central to many of the cities incredible sites including a lovely little italy area, the service has been very friendly and I have truly enjoyed my stay so far!
The hotel is nice and it's proximity to a variety of attractions makes it so you don't have to drive anywhere. The staff were wonderful, too. I gave it only 3 stars because it is so very expensive with all the add-on fees and taxes.
Loved this hotel.. although parking in their garage is a $45 fee and it's very small and has limited parking. There is no bar or restaurant open in the hotel at the moment. There need to add more options to their tiny convenience store.
Excellent location and service. Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating
Stayed here just for the night, although the building and friendly staff is very welcoming and very cleanly the bed was not very comfy. The room felt stale. I wish I would've visited the bar or been offered local guide tips upon arrival. Next time, for sure.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms clean. Excellent location
I enjoy staying here when I come to SF. Nice hotel and the restaurant is good. Breakfast is a bit pricey though.
Newly renovated so all the rooms are very nice. Lobby seems a little bit crammed with a bunch of furniture. Staff is very nice and accommodating. Overall it's still a very nice hotel.
Small rooms and not great views for the cost of each night. However, it has a great location if you want to walk around the city.
Seamless experience during my stay. Very solid hotel and
The hotel is closely located (5 min walk) right near the Pier 39 and many gift shops. The hotel room itself is okay. The bathroom is super small with a stand-in shower. The cable channels are okay, however they don t have HGTV which I am surprised. Also the front desk staff are not very helpful, they were nice enough to give me a free microwave in my room, but when I had a question and tried calling the front desk twice nobody answered.
The room itself was very nice, however, it had obviously not been cleaned very well because we found crumbs and almonds on the floor. Not exactly what you want to see during a pandemic. Also, our window looked straight into a bush, so we felt very trapped. The location was great!
Good size clean rooms, comfy beds. Food average. Quiet location
Top notch, high end hotel catering to business travel.
Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean, coffee machine in the room big flat screen if you have Netflix or Hulu you can have access to it from the smart tv, and you can open the window enough to have some fresh air. The amenities, basic. Bath tub. Some of the stuff are adorable, friendly and so nice you would want to take them home with you, but some others... could improve manners and wiliness to improve the service.
While in the cafeteria I have found very competent people, some of them outstanding, the front desk and valet seems to do the minimum possible to satisfy their clients.
Valet: I gave the keys of my car at 15.55, and I told them I will need it at 16:10 (needed to do the check in, shower if time permits and run to the airport to pick up a colleague). He gave me a phone number I had to call 10 min before I needed the car, I told him -"I actually need the car in 14 min from now"...- "you have to call the number I gave you" -"I have to call the phone you have here in your desk?" -"That's right" -"But I am already telling you..." - "you have to call the number I gave you"
Front desk: -Good morning I would like to have a document printed, can I have your email so I can send it to you (all Marriotts do, not sure if for being a Platinum member or as policy, but they all print for you).
-You have a business center where you can do it.
-I would prefer if you could print it please, I am terrible with machines.
-You have to send the documents to the concierge, and he is not here yet. He will be here in 10 min. We don't print in reception. We don't have a printer.
-Ok that's fine, can I have his email?
-I don't know it
(Silence)
-You don't have that information in a list of departments or anyone knows it?
- No, and he is not here...
...
I had to pay for wifi even though I am a Marriott Rewards member. So pay attention to that!
Awesome, convenient location and excellent service.
Very nice hotel in a very nice location. One drawback is the parking fee is very high.
Grew up in the Bay area so we take family back to enjoy and remember together! Great times had and to be had!
Clean, impeccable. Modern. Complimentary coffee or tea in the lobby. Well located!!!
Comfortable accommodation in walking distance to Embarcadero and all sights and sounds on Fisherman's Wharf
Very nice location. Ok room. I'll be looking elsewhere next time.
Nice hotel with convenient access to mass transit and sights.
I hope I'll never have to come back here! Oh my God!
Very good location, very clean and large room. Only issue I had was that the walls seemed thin. I could hear the neighbors and what was going on in the hallway.
Better than expected. Housekeeping service excellent.
Always enjoy staying at Marriotts. This one is in an awesome location and is very nice. Room was great. Pretty good experience overall, couldn t find a microwave anywhere to heat up leftover food though.
Worst stay at a Marriott I ve ever had. While I was in the gym working out a worker called our room telling my husband that I had borrowed his paring knife and I had to return it. I had never set foot in the dining room let alone ask any staff member for a
Knife. Staff was hit and miss through our whole stay some really friendly and some just do not know what customer service is.
A little pricey, but that's how it is in San Fran. Good location near the tourist traps. Was treated well, no complaints.
