Everything is charged. Internet access, use of the computer to check in the flight, and even the use of the printer. While water is complimentary in many hotels, this is not what happens there. Breakfast very weak.

Beautiful and clean but never did find a functional vending machine. Restaurant is very expensive with nothing to entice guests -no free continental breakfast here. A bagel alone is $7. Very close to area attractions so walking is easy.

Rooms are nice, and having a little drive through drop off spot makes it easy as can be to get an Uber pick up. Their breakfasts in the restaurant are okay, but not at all worth the price. It's a step above Denny's, but not a big one, and you're looking at $20-30 a person. I get that it's SF, but comparable, and even nicer hotels have better food that's cheaper.

Recently returned for 2nd stay. Much better this time. Renovated rooms outstanding. Clean modern and very comfortable. Convenient to all tourist sites. Walking distance or trolley to all. Great front desk manager Bri that goes out of her way to be helpful to guests.

Currently under some renovation. Normally there is a laundry room for guests to use - and we planned on using it. Also, the "fitness center" is set up in an unused conference room until renovation is done. Otherwise the staff is friendly and the facilities are adequate. This hotel seems to cater to business professionals. Room wi-fi isn't free.

The Bellman staff and housekeeping staff are amazing extremely accommodating if you need anything changed or removed they will 100% do that for you ...the concierge is very nice.... Now the breakfast in the restaurant and the buffet are a completely different story ... Unfortunately, the food is subpar for a Category 9 Hotel .... Unfortunately, I caught one of the chefs using their hands to take food from the kitchen and put it on the line and when she saw me staring at her she quickly picked up the serving spoon that was already there and began to rearrange the food.... they were fried potatoes to be exact

I will never stay at a Marriott again. Room rate $189.00 and then $52.00 to park across the street. You have to pay $ 5..00 for a Microwave. No continental breakfast. At least Comfort Inns have to go bags.. Never again and I will tell all my friends.

Excellent location! But was extremely disappointed we were not permitted to eat in the lobby when other people had outside food and were loitering without ordering from the hotel restaurant. We were the only pair asked to leave when we are paying for a room and $70 a night to park our car.

Great hotel, in a great location, with great staff. Mamy of the staff went above and beyond and remembered my family and always asked how we were doing and if we needed anything. Now that's the Marriott charm that's missing from so many of the hotels in the chain these days. Also, food from the lobby restaurant Red Fin was surprisingly good. Found it a bit odd that the two queen rooms had a sofa (which one person could potentially sleep on) while the King rooms did not.

Front desk and manager Lacey absolutely horrid. We planned a nice NYE with friends in SF and called to be placed near their room(I told them the room number era knowing they couldn t disclose that) but they said I d need the friends to call themselves and give permission for us to be placed on same floor near them. Well 30minutes later after bothering our friends to cal hotel I called to find out our room number because we d be unable to check in until after dinner and I wanted to tell my husband the number. For privacy reasons they could not tell me my room number over the phone!!! Wait, who can they tell? Privacy from me? It s my room !!! What is this world coming to?

Great service. Don t let the slightly dated looking building and lobby out you off. The rooms and hallways are thoroughly renovated. Rooms are tastefully furnished and well insulated from the hustle and bustle outside.

I usually stay at Marriott hotels, and the experience is usually a great one. But this time, the beds were to firm causing me, my girlfriend, and her mom to have sore and stiff backs. We had breakfast, because usually it's about $16 a person for the buffet. It was about $38 a person and well over $100. Wasn't to happy to see that. Overall, I'm not staying here again.

Comfortable rooms, efficient service, and great location. But the thing that strikes me as particularly excellent is their elevators. They are super fast, and work! Hardly ever a wait, and it's hard to express how much that's appreciated.

Great service! Very clean and comfortable rooms. In & out accessibility. Good and honest staff! I forgot $$ in my room after checking out. I was able to get my $$ back. Overall visit was great.

It might be the loudest hotel I have ever stayed in. Fortunately, the staff is attentive and friendly. Alan, the desk manager had many good tips and really helped make our trip memorable. The noise and the thin walls will make staying there again a last resort.

Parking fee is crazy ($59/night... really??). Wasn't impressed with hotel amenities. Location was ok but probably one of the farther chain hotels from the wharf. Building was pretty dated but it looked like they tried to renovate the interior. Tried being the key word. One example: the door for the bathroom was entirely too large for the size of the bathroom. Very little clearance between toilet and open door. Pretty sure our AC was broken too. Front desk staff was kind though. No concierge lounge either. Breakfast was ok. Selection was better than your standard Continental breakfast buffet but the special items were a little bland. All in all not the worst hotel I've stayed at but certainly did not meet the standard for Marriotts.

We never felt more VIP than at this hotel. The food was great at the bar and the bartender gave great tips for things to do (foodie wise)! The handwritten note with the bottle of champagne made us feel so welcome and relaxed in our room. Our room was in perfect condition when we checked in, clean and crisp. Great access to all things on The Wharf and quick enough to and from SFO international airport.

I have gone to multiple function here. It has always been a wonderful experience. My company will continue to play our meetings and gatherings here because of the great service and location

When I checked out at 5am today, two taxi drivers by the front door of the SF Marriott Fisherman's Wharf yelled at me when they found out I was taking Uber to SFO. I asked for assistance from the desk manager. He looked like a deer-in-the-headlights and didn't say anything to the taxi drivers.

I am Marriott Gold but I will not stay at any hotel that condones abusive taxi drivers when Marriott customers want to use Uber.

We found our stay with the San Francisco Marriott Fisherman's Wharf to be excellent. The Staff were exceptional.
Everyone was courteous, professional and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome as guests at your facility.

We'd like to give special mention to the Front Desk Office Manager, Ms. Flordeliz Torres who sent us an email prior to arrival to see if there were any special requests. She then sent up a follow-up email after our arrival. She managed her Staff well and saw to every detail.

The Concierge responsible for the garage and luggage, etc. were very attentive, professional and courteous as well. We did take notice of the Security Staff during the evening who seemed to know each and every Patron, acknowledging their presence, making eye contact while making sure the facility was in safe-keeping, with special attention to the side entrance. Little touches like coffee in the morning, fruited water and cookies in the afternoon were especially nice. The Dining room was always clean and the Staff there was also attentive, pleasant, courteous and professional.

Overall, we would very much like to revisit the Marriott San Francisco Fisherman's Wharf should we have another visit to San Francisco.

Clean and staff were great and very helpful. Even let us keep our luggage at the hotel while we spent time in San Fran after our checkout so we didn't have to drive around a rental and pay for parking. Great place and close to the wharf.

This is a great hotel with great staff. The location is blocks from Fisherman's wharf and has access to great dining and sight seeing. And historic North Beach with its abundant superb cuisine is a few blocks away.

The reason for the 4 stars is that even though the parking garage requires a room key to get in, they turn off the key access after 11, meaning you have to call the front desk and wait for someone to let you in. This is a bit ridiculous.

Otherwise great place to stay.

Very close to Fisherman's wharf. Few facilities and just a basic hotel. Don't waste your money on the breakfast buffet. Not up to Marriott standards. I get mine free because of my status and I will go out of the hotel and pay for something better.

This hotel is nasty. Our mini fridge had food in it from the last occupants, there are cigarette butts in our window, the towels smell musty and moldy, and the price of this hotel for all this nastiness is ridiculous.

Over priced with no simple amenities unless you are a rewards member. I stayed at a Marriott in San Jose the week before complimentary breakfast and wifi no questions asked. And parking is as expensive as the room.

Despite ongoing construction as of this writing, this location appears to be affected little and provides all of the services you expect. There is no consierge lounge at this location, which was dissapointing, but there is plenty of eating of various price ranges easily within walking distance.
