For the finest pizza, fresh salads and easy, relaxed atmosphere, go to Marigold. It is a welcoming repast in a day of over-produced and mass-marketed processed foods to come here and enjoy local, wholesome produce on a home made, all natural pizza. Local grown wheat flour, cheeses and sauces are the staples of this fine place to dine (bring a bottle of wine with you) or take out.

Best pizza I've ever tasted, and I don't even like pizza. That was fresh and good. Nice salad also. Good service, nice funny people. Small fun place to stop going back to New York after a weekend of hiking in Vermont. Highly recommend

Just what we needed after several days of camping - fresh local salads and pizza. Nice people, clean dining facility, comfortable while modest environment. Gluten Free pizza was great - best I have had in a restaurant, and a pleasure to have confidence in the preparation. Family loves their regular pizzas and the fresh salads with local cheese. We'll be back!

Best pizza eva! I live in Brooklyn, Marigold rivals any pizza I have had in NYC.
The crust is made from local wheat, the whole wheat is surprising light and delicous, crispy, tasty and perfect. The cheeses are also a cut above. I love a salad and small pie to share with one or two people. The folks who run the place are especially nice. They can get busy on weekend.

We stumbled upon this place while vacationing through Vermont. The pizza was excellent and we enjoyed the simple atmosphere. If we lived in Bennington we would frequent this place. Highly recommend.

Marigold's is absolute gold. I work on one of the farms they get produce from. The farm is about 10 minutes away from Marigold's in Shaftsbury. They only use the freshest ingredients from local farms and really know how to make some damn good pizza.

Pizza was fresh an full of flavor, however I found the bottom of the pizza having to much flour leaving you mouth on the dry side. Also a 4$ charge per topping, I asked to add caramelized onions and needless to say I had next to nothing put on the pizza.

Wasn't expecting to find good pizza outside of NYC. Came here randomly because it was the closest place to my airbnb that was still open. Glad I did, the ingredients were fresh and the service was fast. Wasn't as thin a pie as I would have liked but was still really delicious.

High quality local and organic ingredients make their pizzas delicious. We had the Poppa with an egg in it and it was great the salad was good too, although a bit bland, but this was easily remedied with the dozen different toppings/cheeses/spices they had put for the pizza.

We were here in December, and we came during a Friday lunch (it is only open for lunch hours on Fridays and Saturdays, only dinner hours for the remaining weekdays). The chef/waiter/DJ was nice and discrete with a great taste in music :)! The place was empty at 3 PM, so there was no wait whatsoever for our meal. The pizza was excellent and very different (we suggest the delicious "Vermont" crust)! This is your go-to pizza place for locavores, vegetarians, vegans, and organic-lovers. There is even a gluten-free crust. Tasty for everyone!
