Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort Review

The interior of the lobby is exactly what you would expect from Margaritaville! The suites were luxurious and comfortable even with the amount of family members we have! The beach is ironically better there than some beaches in cozomel. If we are ever in Ft. Lauderdale again soon i know where I'd choose to stay!

My stay was neither relaxing or enjoyable. After arriving at 1pm my friends and I went to the pool to have a drink and lunch. The pizza was terrible. My friend went to the front desk to find out if our room was ready at 4pm (Check in time) and he was told it would not be ready until 7pm. I almost had a heart attack. We needed to leave at 7pm because we had concert tickets. I asked the guy at the front desk how 4 people were going to take showers and get ready with no room? We had to go to the spa to shower. I spent $300 on a hotel room so that I could shower at the spa. What a waste of money. I will never stay at your hotel again. Your front desk staff needs a lesson in manners and you need to hire more cleaning crew so you can have rooms ready on time.

Beautiful resort, great drinks and food, wonderful staff.

We go there for coffee and Muffins, music shows and people watching at the broad walk, nice beach scenery.

It was an amazing stay- Dorette in Food and Beverage and Bernadette at the Front Desk were most helpful! (Everyone was great actually!) Also, I was in 1762 and my room was spotless, thank you!

Service was great, amenities were as wonderful as the pictures, very clean, would definitely go back!

Excellent customer service. This was our second time visiting and we had requested a certain kind of room and they held it for us! Also very accommodating with trying to help with a late checkout and any questions we had.

Margarita ville was a BLAST! The food, the pool, the rooms, the service...I will be returning!

We only parked in the garage but had access to the facilities be on site.

Location is wonderful! Right on the beach front and the views are spectacular! There are a few different pools to choose from and waterslides as well. There is also a tiki bar out front right on the beach. There are events running all day for the kids and family to enjoy. All in all great place to stay!

Weren't very busy, but the food took about an hour to come out, when it did, the food was barely warm and the plates were very hot, indicating they were sitting under the hot lamp for a long time. Waitress was nice, tried her best. Been there before and it was better, will probably give it another chance.

Very clean and friendly. Holiday weekend was a lot of guess, which made it hard to get chairs pool side. great locations and lots to do. More servers and waitress at the pool area on busy days.

The staff is what made the whole stay so fantastic!!!!

I don't know where these good reviews comes from? The restaurants in the hotel is the worst!! well.. except the seafood place which is ok.. 3/5. The area around the hotel is not nice at all! There is nothing to do after 5pm, nowhere to eat. Most of the staff is friendly. The girls from a coffee shop don;t have any qualification to work with people. They are horrible! I didn't plan on staying in here, but i had to cuz all hotels near were booked except this one (no wonder why)... Stay away from this place..

We stayed on the 11th floor and the full menu wasn't available. We were only there Monday thru Friday so having the limited menu was disappointing. Other than that everything was awesome! Great place to stay!!!

We love Margaritaville. The atmosphere is wonderful. However, some restaurants are very slow. Not just in getting to you once you sit down, but then bringing drinks or the food. Landshark Bar & Grill is the worst. We almost walked out. Margaritavlle -- one evening we went in there. Hardly anyone around. It took forever to get our drinks and desserts. We found that sitting at the bar is the best option. Lone Palm is always great!

We stayed for 4 nights over Thanksgiving and while I wanted to love it, our stay had many hiccups. My father is a local and we visit at least once a year. We usually stay at the Marriott but decided to give this a try. We booked months in advance and upon check-in we were told they did not have our room and said we booked during construction that was supposed to be finished before we arrived but did not happen. We went from a full ocean view with 2 beds to a partial view with 1 bed and cot for our son. We had the worst 4 nights sleep due to this replacement room being next to the service elevator and hearing the door slam all night every night, and our son feeling every spring in the cot. He left this trip with a lot of back and side pain. We were promised 2 cots for him to put together but only got one that initially never arrived until I called and reminded them it was needed. When I asked for the 2nd cot the next day I was met with some pushback and rudeness from the front desk. The person assisting us was told by anther individual that this was a "hot sauce situation" and to do it. This made me uncomfortable as it was clear he was speaking in hotel code about my family. The first day we lost all running water and electricity in our room. We were told to let the water run for a bit if it was brown when it came back. We also had a burnt out light in the bathroom that was never fixed although I was told they were sending someone right away. The entire 4 days we kept losing hot water in the room and ended up with cold showers for most of the time. During our stay a large group of Philadelphia Eagles players and crew checked in and the resort became a drunken mess. Yelling in the halls, banging on doors, and people simulating sex in the pool around children. The parking garage is shared with public beach parking and we had many situations of being stuck in the garage due to our card not working because of a "card reader error". The location of the hotel is great, the food was great, and the views are great. However, our experience was not. I will say that the manager offered us a discounted rate due to the hotel not having our room and us losing a bed upon arrival, so they did attempt to make up for that in the beginning, but I m not sure it was worth all that we experienced during our stay. The hotel does seem to have good reviews overall, so perhaps we just had a series of unfortunate events and an off stay, but it s enough to make me seriously second guess wanting to stay again.

We booked this as a last minute getaway for our 10 year wedding annivsary. The hotel was beautiful, clean and the staff was friendly. We arrived early and they had a room ready for us within minutes. The service at all the bars/ restaurants was great. We treated ourselves to JWB steakhouse and it was worth every penny!! The food was excellent!! Best steak I ever had! Can t wait to come back maybe next time with the kids!

Do not like the environment it is very collage lifestyle, not a family hotel

Please fix the phone, I was not able to dial the front desk. I had to go down to request towels and shampoo, water etc.. When leaving again, I had to go to the front lobby to ask for a bellman or a cart. The adult pool was very dirty greenish color. Please make suee people who are not staying at Margaritaville don't get to use the pool. I saw mulriple people without bracelets. Due to Covid-19, it was difficult to get the trash thrown out, the towels we needed, and the shampoo without the room service, but that is something Covid-19 brought us. On check out date, we cannot use the Umbrellas at the Beach. The umbrella employee said we were not allowed to use them on check out date. I was told on the front desk and in the towel collection we were able to use all the amenities. When leaving I let the towel return person that I was denied access to the umbrellas and beach chairs.

Food great it's relaxing and live bands playing it was awesome

My wife and I had a great time! As advertised, we really didn't need to leave the property for much of anything. The food in the restaurants was good, we had live music every night, and plenty to do and see on the board walk and beach. The only thing we had a problem with was not having a microwave in the room. We did have a refrigerator, but there was not a microwave to be found. Not a huge deal, but it would have made our stay perfect.

Had a wonderful and relaxing couple of days. It was our 10th wedding anniversary and the hotel staff did everything possible to make it both enjoyable and memorable. Thank you!

Beautiful place! From the room, the surrounding area, and all the accommodations this is definitely a great place to stay and if you can afford it, so worth it!

This was the first time we had stayed at Margaritaville. We had a blast at your resort. Everything was just fantastic. The room was quiet, clean, comfortable and it had a great view(#1759). The lobby was very inviting and bristled with energy no matter what time we cut thru. Manuel at the front desk was very helpful and checked us in as quick as I can ever say we got checked in anywhere. The music that played throughout the resort was GREAT. We were very happy that you serve your own coffee in the lobby market. We are tired of Starbucks. Our only recommendation is: Find a better Margarita to serve. After all, the Hotel is called Maragritaville.

From the minute we arrived we felt welcome by everyone. The hotel & guest rooms were so beautifully decorated. The atmosphere was happy and cheerful which lead to a very relaxing stay. We had a great day everyday we spent there. I would love to return again soon! The JWB Steakhouse served us one of my top ten restaurant experiences of my life. Thanks for being such a GREAT resort.

A great place to be a tourist. The whole place is designed for fun. Ate delicious hamburgers and watched people try to surf! Hilarious.....

Did not stay at Margaritaville - we dined at the oceanfront casual restaurant which I forget the name of. Great views and service, I would have liked more light, fresh options - it's a burger/wrap/fries kinda place. Food is fine, neither spectacular or terrible. Great, strong beachy drinks.

Loved it. Not as high prices as Myrtle Beach. But nicer and on boardwalk.

Great access to beach, very busy. All the facilities were good but it s just not for me. I suppose it s good if you have kids.

Great margaritas, especially from the little trailer on the boardwalk. I've eaten in the Landshark Bar twice. Other than the spectacular view of the Atlantic there's nothing to write home about. Food so so, service slow. Parking sucks but those margaritas though.

Great place to eat and enjoy the beach with some beach shops. If you stay at Margaritaville, you can also enjoy the pool side and a small water park.

Typical tourist trap. High prices for ok food. At least they had a decent cover band outside giving a free concert

2nd level viewing of the beach and ocean, also of the pool. Great place to hang out for the afternoon.

Was just there this weekend with my kids and let me tell you we loved it. Super clean rooms, staff very friendly and always willing to help. It was our first time visiting and will not be our last. Amazing place

Almost all employees were extremely kind and helpful Special shout out to Luna at the pool, she was great and bubbly.
The manager on the 21st of August at the Landshark grill was, however, rude and seemed overwhelmed.

The food sucks and the service is even worse. Went for a birthday and a guest got there wallet stolen. Who knows who did it. They were nice though the next day and reviewed the cameras and seen nothing they said...But then again who knows what they seen because no one but them seen what they seen..All I know is a wallet walked away after paying the check....

They have amazing food, drinks and the paddle boarding is a good price for all the extras they offer you!

This was our second time staying with you in Hollywood. We do love your place. The biggest thing we would change would be when the rooms get cleaned. Ours never got cleaned the entire stay because we would be walking back from a full day of activities and she would be down the hall just starting at 3:45 so what time would she have made it to our room 5:00? We just asked for clean towels every day. Also we love the free bikes every day for an hour. Please put baskets on most of them and on the ones with out baskets put cup holders for hydration, you could also supply locks even if you just ask upon request you can not run in any where for a drink or eat or to look at any thing. When we were there 3 years ago the pool bar for the price used to give a little more alcohol for the money. While in the pool we heard a lot of complaining about that. Not looking to get trashed but for $13.00 for a drink you want some alcohol in it.
