Great pizza spot near the ballpark in downtown. Can't go wrong with any pizzas on the menu!

Not like it used to be.... the Wings were small, the Pizza was cold, and the Nutella pizza was cold with so much Nutella you couldn't eat more then one bite. Totally disappointed in the food quality.

Spinach & artichoke dip was exquisite and the meatball slides were fire. We stopped by for happy hour 3-6pm on Saturday. Highly recommend

No other restaurant in Colorado makes such authentic Italian pizza. It's also a great place to go before Rockies games or other downtown events. It's a must try. Then you'll be a regular.

Excellent FIND! This place is quaint - kid friendly and has excellent food - wood fired pizzas, salads and home made cannolies! Worth checking out - oh and an everyday happy hour from 3-6 is fantastic!!!

So lend me your ear for a minute if you will. I accidentally stumbled on yo this gem bc my friend saw how hard this woman was working to open a bar and blast her jams while doin that. It showed us how hungry forthe day she was. We waited for them to open get set up and came in to such a lovely dining experience. The food was made with love and Elena was the person to bridge that gap to good food. This back patio was BEAUTIFUL and the food !
An overall just amazing passion enriched food and beverage experience!

They definitely are a top tier pizzeria in Colorado. You cannot go wrong with anything you order here. They deserve all of the awards they have won and the next ones they'll get over the years. It's a must go place if you live here or are just visiting.

My favorite place to eat pizza while I'm in Denver. Great food and great service.

Amazing service. Our family reunion numbers kept changing 9 or 12 or 15 let's set on 11. Marco's staff just rolled with it. Then our terrific waitress offered to keep track of separate checks! Smoothed out the whole night.

Oh, the food? Absolutely tremendous across the board.

Was on a food tour and this was one of our first stops. We got to see the kitchen and see first hand the fresh ingredients that is used to make their pizza. Also the history of how the restaurant got started. We were seated in the dining area and got to have a few slices. Yum! When I'm back in this area, I shall return.

I love this place! Great service, fresh ingredients, amazing food! Thank you so much for adding the vegan pizza to the menu (it is very expensive :( ) But so grateful to have this option! I'll be back!

I was visiting from out of town and freestyled this place. Great lunch special with pizza and salad. I picked the margarita pizza and house salad. That salad was DELICIOUS, big cheese chunks, fresh tomatoes, and great balsamic dressing!

Pizza was thin crust that didn t flop, fresh ingredients, cooked just right. It was so good!

Service was just as good as the food or better.

This is an interesting place, the menu is diverse the salads beautifully made and the ingredients are exquisite (yes exquisite). I thought the service was quick and efficient, the waiter seemed like he was in an awful hurry though which made the dining experience a little stressful, not huge, just a little. I do have to say that the waiter was quite good, the problem was that he didn't really wait for me to respond to some of his actions, I still tipped him 20+ percent.



So the problem is the cooking time/heat ratio. A good and humble chef will read this review and hopefully take some time to work on a more reasonable temperature to cooking time (I was told that the pizza's spend 90 seconds in the oven). I sincerely hope that the managers and the cooks here will take that time. This pizza has the possibility of becoming one of the most amazing pizza's of it's type that I've ever tasted, the huge drawback to the final product is the cooking process. Hence the 4 stars.

I don't know what all the hub-ub is about with Marco's. The pizza isn't bad, but I've had better. Beer list isn't bad, but not the best. Service is ok if you go when there's no one there. I don't mind this place but it doesn't deserve all the hype it gets.

We are from Spokane Washington and traveled to Denver for a Softball Tournament and ran across Marcos. This place was the real deal top to bottom! Food was exquisite, service was great and a great venue! They even made me the best calzone I ve ever had and it wasn t even on the menu! The owner was awesome and delivered! I highly recommend this place for anyone in the Denver area or traveling to Denver to eat at the best pizza AND Calzone place ever! Thanks again!

We stumbled upon this place after scooting around town. I d rate this place close to perfect but it took awhile to get us seated even though it was empty. We ordered the Mulberry street and Toscana pizzas. The food was excellent!! The cheese on the mulberry street was so soft and buttery. All the ingredients tasted so fresh! Definitely come to this restaurant if you re craving pizza.

You won t find more real, true or honest pizza than the one served here at Marco s. Whether it be the Brooklyn or the Sicilia, the pizza here is delicious. Whenever I go to any pizza place, I tend to dislike their crust, because I remember Marco s soft crust.

Enough raving about the pizza, they also serve some really good salads here. I would recommend their house salad. And for those who cannot eat gluten, there is a variety of gluten-free pizza options for you to try out, like the Margherita.

Not only does Marco s offer excellent pizzas, it also has come great customer service. The treatment of guests here is terrific. The manager, Gina, is fantastic and so as the servers. One more reason why I keep coming back.

Had the Del Re pizza, it s the best pizza I have ever had. AWESOME

Meatball happy hour is amazing. Do yourself a favor and get yourself a few!

Delicious good and extremely friendly staff. We had a great experience on their beautiful patio. They were busy right before a rockies game and our server still did an excellent job. Their patio is dog friendly which is always a win in my book and the patio itself is charming and unique. The menu is extensive a d everything we had was delicious. No cons or complaints about Marco's go check it out for yourself. We'll definitely be back

Pizza was very delicious!. Crust was so crunchy and chewy despite being thin crust. You gotta try the limoncello wings

Good and affordable Italian restaurant in the heart of downtown.

Not so much as an appetizer made it to our table before we left after 30+mins. Unfortunately, my wife needed to vent her frustration (she felt we were overlooked/order lost as people who arrived after being served) and found little sympathy among the staff including an "18 yrs in the service industry" veteran who explained that they're busy. No effort by mgmt to intervene or produce a reasonable solution. Anyway, we've had better visits prior and yours will most likely be fine, but this one sucked enough to comment.and now we've been uninvited. I wish I was sophisticated enough to post the mgrs/owners reply but suffice to say he was not the least bit apologetic and made it clear that we're no longer welcome. Ok. Cool. Where else should I and others not dine that he owns or manages?

My friend was so high on umm "life", he said it was the best pizza he ever had, he also thought his phone screen was turning 3D. I thought the pizza had an excellent crust, flavorful toppings and just the right amount of sauce.

Terrible pizza, I heard good things about it, but this was plain awful. Never going again.

I try not to savage businesses but will lay out the facts....at least as we experienced them. 2nd visit. First one a year ago impressed me enough to make this my wife's birthday dinner with 2 grown sons. We'd met and talked with the owner then...seemed like a humble, nice and REALLY great guy.

Arrived 7:30 PM Friday night w reservation. Waited short time to be seated...to be expected on a busy night. Reservation system worked well.
Ambiance: Too loud room and I KNOW I like this less as I age but tried not to be hypercritical about it. Had to lean into companions at 4 top to be able to be heard and hear. Music amped up on top of crowd noise. Could not talk to person across table from me. At about 8:30 after the room turned over they turned off the music and with slightly less crowd it improved quite a bit.
Service: Very poor. Server was tall, very short hair with frosting and was pleasant but after getting drinks didn't seem like she watched her tables closely. Ordered second beer and she forgot. When she brought plates to table to await the pizza she obviously remembered (my son who had waited tables earlier in his life at a number of quality places in Denver noticed when it hit her) and she grabbed my empty glass and returned with the beer....but with not a word. It happens...just apologize..it'll be accepted usually and move on. I've waited, been a bartender too and we make mistakes. Just talk to people. When I was waiting for my beer and trying to get her attention she camped at the end of the bar but seemed to be talking to people not just picking up drinks at the servers station. Next...when we ordered our food she did explain well about the types of pizzas, etc. but talked my wife and I out of ordering our pizza well done/crispy...said they'd come out burnt. Result....limp, soft pizza.
Food: TOOK FOREVER. For a place that talks about their 1,200 degree oven that cooks in 60 seconds it was interminable. So much so that at end of meal they acknowledged it and comped a free $10 Dolce Dessert Pizza but they never said anything during the process. It gets busy, I know, but they seemed heavily staffed though I'm not a restaurant professional. After my second beer that took a long time to get there we waited and waited. I quit drinking my beer and saved it as I didn't want to order a third. I'm guessing nearly an hour from sit down to food. Maybe a little less. My wife and I split a Margherita PIzza + artichokes. One of my favorite pizzas. Didn't stand out, seemed bland and way limp. One son's pizza....The Bronx...had great toppings..the sausage was superb..and pizza had good overall taste. The other son had one with red onions on it and it looked and tasted like they weren't paying attention and forgot to stop putting onions on it. So loaded even me...the onion and garlic lover (I eat Vidalia Onion sandwiches) thought the onions overwhelmed everything else on the pizza. Couldn't tell you what else was on it. More is not always better. Salads were very good though a tad over priced. My wife loved her Caesar $8 and I had a small house salad w balsamic vinaigrette $5. Dolce Pizza was interesting.

I'd pushed this place to my wife. After we got home she asked not to go there again after she sweetly thanked me for the evening. Embarrassing.... for $100 pizza dinner for 4 before tip. Unfortunately we won't be back. Too many alternatives in Denver for me to spend that much money for an overall poor experience. Hopefully this helps them clean up the issues. I know the owner cares. Maybe during the week would be better or Sat night when not crushed but I won't try to find out.

Best GF pizza we've had! Our family loves pizza, and finding pizza that satisfies both the GF and gluten people is a challenge. Everyone loves the coal-fire - makes such a difference in the crust. Also love that there is a full bar and plenty of wine options. The kids beg us for the Nutella pizza for dessert! Very friendly staff, too.

Perfect Neapolitan style pizza. Please don't add and fluff philadelphia cheese to Cannoli, it's a crime :)

Just moved to Colorado and came here for the first time. Had Conner as my bartender and he was efficient and communicative.there was another bartender with him as well but I never got her name. Both of them were excellent definitely coming back! What I liked most is that they treated me as a friend and not as a guest

Robin waited on my husband and I for our first visit and she made sure our meal was exceptional - even double checked our GF focaccia bread order (which was fantastic by the way). The GF pizza looked identical to the regular pizza and we could only tell the difference because there was a cute little GF flag on one. Atmosphere is clear and bright, food was exceptional! So happy to have finally found a great pizza place that caters to the celiac community - yes they have their OWN secondary oven for GF pizzas. Peace of mind, great staff, delicious food, another 5 star review to be lost in the sea of other 5 star reviews and totally cool with that. Thank you for everything and see ya soon!

The Limoncello wings are amazing... pizza is great and service is great!!!

A great middle ground between the cracker-thin pizzas that leave you hungry and the puffy monstrosities that you find at places like BeauJo's. The scorched crusts are awesome and the primo ingredients imported from Italy can't be beat.

I love the fact that they have a great bar and great patio. You gotta try the dessert pizzas, too.

From the food to the service. I'm never disappointed. Their Nutella pizza is to die for. I go there every time I'm in Denver. It's very reasonable and it's an easy place to go if you're headed to a Rockies game.

I was excited about the coal baked pizza. Environment was nice, but our waiter was quite rude, and our pizza came out undercooked so we had to send it back. It is definitely not authentic italian, but it seems like most others are enjoy it. I'm overall bummed out by the experience!

unreal food, sincerely pleasant staff & the wait time for food was unexpectedly short. we are travelling from Canada & found this place online & it definitely lived up to the hype. would totally recommend!

Not sure what all the fan fare is about here. Yes the pizza is good but certainly not the best. We ordered the Sicilian. The crust was soggy and sloppy. The ham ingredient tasted like boiled ham instead of the advertised. Again not bad but definitely not super.

Also, this place gets crowded, especially on game day so be prepared.

couldn t even land in denver for an hour and eat without my rental being towed. customers especially TOURIST please beware of the tow truck across the street from their parking lot that stalks you so they can tow your car after eating and shopping and then over charge you to claim your vehicle.

These guys are like family known the owners for years and every time I go there it's a great experience. Highly recommended.

What can I say.... awesome service, the pizza was the best we have ever had ( and we have eaten Pizza all over the country in our travels..). The spinach and artichoke dip was also the best we have ever had and you can make a meal of just that by yourself. Seriously speaking if you come to Denver and you don't eat at this place you have no idea what you're missing out on! And pray you are in the section that Elena provides service for as there's never been a greater waitress ever!

This places pizza was not good to me, and thier lasagna was horrible.

Good crust, excellent toppings, and a charred smoky flavor that's perfect. Our group tried 3 pizzas and a couple salads and we want to go back to try more.

Went here specifically because we were told about the lunch special margarita pizza, soup or salad and a drink for just $9. Both the salad (a great, fresh caesar) and pizza portion were a nice size. The one fault ordering a caesar increased the bill unexpectedly, while we saw nothing on the menu about it and the waitress was mute on it while ordering and unapologetic with the bill. Mixed feelings as it was fairly decent lunch but left us feeling a little hoodwinked.

Great menu selection of pizza. Pizza was as little underdone, but I would try again as the flavors were great.

I've now visited Marco's on several occasions during happy hour. I have never seen the rude bartender again. In the past 10 months, we have received nothing but pleasant and wonderful service and food. Because they have been so wonderful every single time since my first in person visit, I'd like to make sure I update my rating and review. Thank you to all the employees over the past year that have made our visits so nice!

I've ordered delivery from Marco's many times and their pizza is amazing. The flavors and crust are so perfect it is honestly one of the best pizzas I've had in Denver. This style of pie is very close to what you would get in Naples, which is my favorite.

I do have to knock them down a star for lack of friendly service. On a Saturday afternoon we decided to visit the restaurant in person. The bartender came over to take our order and it was clear from his tone he did not want to be there. We asked for an order to go. He quickly took the order then started giving us place settings. I mentioned the to go order once again and he was clearly annoyed and told us (loudly) that they did not offer happy hour to go. I was pretty shocked by his rudeness given that we had no idea it was happy hour. I watched him as he treated quite a few people in this same manner. So we we decided to leave. Since I don't visit this place often in person, I have no idea if that is the norm. However, the guy s demeanor was so bad it is enough to keep me away.

I go here all the time, the food is great and the staff is friendly
