Ate a Marco's a few days ago. Very disappointing. Pizza is a tomato pie, so the complete absence of any tomato flavor disqualifies Marco's. Our standard of excellence for pizza was set by Frank Pepe's in New Haven, Connecticut many years ago and by other pizza parlors in the East. The toppings at Marco's are fine, but the absence of any flavor of tomato on the pizza as a whole accounts for the rating I've given it. There are good pizzas around Denver, among which are Uno Chicago's and Anthony's. Marco's doesn't make the grade at all.

Do you like classic neapolitan pizza? This is the place for you. Moved here from Minnesota a couple years ago and this the closest thing to Punch pizza we've found. My favorite pizza in Denver.

Best pizza in Denver! Racca's has remained my favorite pizza spot in Denver over the past several years (previously Marco's Coal Fired Pizza). The ingredients are fresh, the crust is always perfect, and the service is excellent. The limoncello wings are a must-have, even the kids crave them.

Over priced pasta shells. Won't be going back there again. Plus we accidentally left or credit card in the bill holder and they claim it's no where to be found. I know that was our fault but it's the only place we used it. So seems suspicious.

After living in Naples, Italy for 3 years, we got spoiled on true Neapolitan pizza. Marco's is the real deal. My husband and I both had the Campania, which is the traditional pizza margarita. The crust, the sauce, the bufala mozzarella-all perfect. For those who think it is expensive, you don't know what you're getting. This is real food, not processed junk. The tomatoes are from Italy. The stone in the oven is imported from Italy. The mozzarella is from water buffalo, not cows. This is why you are paying a premium. If you want the Vera Neapolitana pizza experience, Marco's is the place.

First time here. We shared a New York and a Napolitano style pizza and both were excellent. We also got a Nutella dessert pizza as a special treat for our daughter and it was tasty as well. Highly recommended.

Pizza dough way too soft and gooey, it can even support the the toppings when you try to pick up a piece. Very dissatisfied given the ratings of this establishment. The dough needs work for sure, won't be back

Amazing pizza absolutely worth going. If it is warm enough they have a patio out back with really interesting murals. Also everything they use is fresh. You can see them preparing everything as the coal fired oven is right there in the middle.

Pizza delicious, busy, good atmosphere, customer service was not bad at all. I added Italian cheese and it was $10. I could have gotten another pizza. So you do what you feel with that information. Nothing is priced.

Stopped in for a late lunch with the sister and it was exactly what we were looking for. Fire grilled, real mozzerlla and fresh ingredients. I am a stickler when it comes to authentic pizza and they pass with flying colors. Good beer on tap (6) with liquor and wine as well. 12 to 18 bucks for a pizza (enough for 2) and we'll worth it.

It's the best pizza place in Denver and the service is wonderful, went here with my class during orientation and absolutely loved it! We reserved the whole downstairs and the atmosphere of the place ad the good, everything was it perfect!

I have been here three times and it has always been excellent. Absolutely love this place! We usually get a plain margarita pizza and a toscana pizza which are both delicious. The moscow mule's are also really good too. Definitely recommend this place!

I have ordered from and eaten at Marcos several times over the last 10 years and have generally given a 5 star rating. The last two visits have felt like the kitchen is getting a little sloppy and is trying to push out product too quickly as the pizza has been uncharacteristically undercooked to the point of being doughy and soggy, and even the famously great limoncello wings have not been as crispy nor as aggressively seasoned. I have ordered 6 pizzas in this time and not had one come out of the oven They have just been ok. I will give them a few more chances as I like the business, but I do hope they fix the kitchen problems. The price is too high and the market too competitive to have these flaws. I am disappointed but hopeful

The pizzeria really surprised me by how their coal fired pies looked puffy and crusted similar to wood fired. Our server, Brittany, was a delight as she understood our dietary needs being vegetarians and suggested menu options accordingly. The eggplant rolatini was spectacular with a nice amount of chew and zesty sauce to compliment. Both the white and red pies were brilliant as well. For anybody looking to get some heat in their pies, I definitely recommend getting some calabrian chillies added

WOW. Definitely the best pizza I've ever had. So refreshing. It actually makes you slow down and enjoy the taste. The atmosphere is perfect also. Great blend of casual, bustling , and just fun. But the thing that amazed us most was our server Lorenzo. All I can say is his passion for great food and amazing service set the bar for others to try to match. A definite must visit. Thank you Lorenzo again for a great experience.

Flavors! My husband, my dog and I had a great time on their backyard patio decorated with stunning murals! Service was extremely kind. Will go back FOR SURE!

We have been to this place several times, maybe 5 or 6 times a year. I can honestly say we have always been treated great, the food is spectacular and the prices are spot on. For example, the tiramisu is $7. Another Italian restaurant in the area charges $10. Seriously? Anyway, Marco's is great.

Sooo happy we came to Marcos for brunch today! Our bellys are so happy and satiated. We've been listening to super groovy music being spun by a DJ on vinyls! Funky and fresh! And our server Mackenzie is AMAZING, she's taken the best care of us and is simply fabulous! Drinks are good and the company is even better!

This place hits the spot 12in pizzas are good, may feed 2 but if your hungry 1.. spinach artichoke dip is delicious. I asked for a margarita pizza with pepperoni, fresh garlic, well done. Excellent wait staff.. worth the money because of the flavor and quality ingredients.

Do yourself a favor. Go get a pizza here. I had the Del Re. I dont remember ever eating a better pizza. Good beer selection. (In my opinion every restaurant with beers on tap should have one beer over 10%. I don't get out much. I want a bold, flavorful beer.)

Can't get enough of their Neopolitan pies. The staff is also amazing and very friendly. We always get the Campania, but every pizza I've tried here is amazing and super authentic.

Not sure if I've had a better pizza at a restaurant in America. Went with a lot of Italians and they loved it as well. Also went with a german guy. He approved. The cheese...my God the cheese.

Excellent, authentic Neapolitan pizzeria! The staff was fantastic, friendly and attentive. The restaurant was attractive, comfortable and clean. Most importantly, the restaurant goes to great lengths to insure they are using the finest ingredients and that the food is prepared authentically. I'm a big fan of Lombardi's in New York, which is the original pizza place in America. Racca's Pizzeria is the most authentic Neapolitan pizza I've had since being in New York. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are a connoisseur of fine pizza. Love the wood fired ovens and how they've gone to great lengths to mimic the water in Brooklyn, so everything is very authentic tasting. Love it! We'll be back.

Just wait here on the food tour and had a very simple white cheese pizza. The dough was excellent flavor and I like the way it comes out with the little blackened edges from the 1100 degree charcoal oven. I know it's not a fair comparison but I have to say that I would at this point go to Osteria Marco before I would go to Marco's Pizzeria, seeing as how there are only a few blocks from each other. I will try to go back soon and get a better tasting of their products so I may be updating this review later. I will say that the staff was extremely friendly and apparently the selection of craft beers is very good.

Robin did an outstanding job for us. We had a party of 10 and continued ordering items at a high rate and she never missed a beat! We highly recommend the food, desserts, happy hour, and ROBIN!!

This is some of the best pizza I ve had, right up there with the old joints in NYC. We had the bufala margherita and the pistachio pesto pizza-they were both fantastic and very fresh. If I didn t leave on the other side of the continent, I d definitely come here often. Thanks for a great experience.

I might add that staff was friendly, service was excellent, and quite prompt.

Acceptable pizza, but I can't support businesses that engage in predatory towing practices. Use caution when parking here.

Edit: Regarding the response below, when your business name is on the parking signs then you are complicit with how the parking is enforced.

Your car will be towed if you do not immediately enter the building. I made that mistake, I planned to stop at the store next door, then drop off my stuff in my car and eat dinner. They towed me within 5-10 min so they have someone on speed dial or spotting. Sadly, this cost me $285, and it will likely cost the business future customers as well which will easily outweigh the $285 they made working with the towing company. It s a lose lose situation that should be addressed.

In response to the owner s response: As an individual, I accept responsibility for not 100% following the rules. I paid everything and got my car back without complaining to anyone along the way. But as the business owner, it s your responsibility to address this. You re hurting people who may not even be able to afford this, and costing yourself in the long term.

I wanted to share our experience or lack of that occurred yesterday. We planned on meeting my father in law for lunch yesterday, mind you I am 28 weeks pregnant and hardly get out of the house due to being one of the lucky 1% of women to continue puking through the pregnancy... I don't get out much! We had parked in your parking lot and had about 20 minuets to spare before Tom (father in law) was supposed to meet us. (I'm not a big pizza fan but had a craving when I read your options online) But first we stopped in the dispensary literally next door. Honestly we didn't think anything of it since we were eating at your establishment! My husband wanted to run next door. We were inside DenRec for about 10 minuets, walk out and our vehicle has been towed! We literally just wanted to get our product in the car and grab my purse that I had left in the car before we ate! This is just appalling to me at this point! Not only could we not come eat lunch as planned but had to Uber to pick up our vehicle 6 minuets away! When we called the man literally had just pulled out of the parking lot but wouldn't allow us to explain anything! Rudely accused us of "stealing parking" When we arrived we were charged $280.00 to pick up our vehicle! 280.00 to tow something a couple miles? That is awful! We could not justify coming for lunch at that point and were so angry that we most likely will never return! Believe me I understand some people "steal parking" as the tow truck driver so nicely accused us of but we didn't! We were gone for 10 minuets! Not only that told we were liars and had no plans for lunch! Who says that??? I am heartbroken at the way we were treated! We did not get lunch nor the Christmas presents we had planned for and my one day out of the house to try and feel like a normal person was destroyed! I am beyond disgusted and disappointed! It's Christmas for crying out loud! I'm sure nothing will be done about this but I absolutely had to express my concerns!

Merry Christmas to your entire staff wish we could have supported local businesses as we were trying to do, unfortunately won't be coming back.

Food was so delicious. Their wings are too die for. They are so flavorful. I loved the fresh ingredients on their pizza. There small salad was so good too. I loved the dressing they used. I will definitely be back. If you haven't been i would definitely try it.
