Food and service is always so good. Love their pizza and love their salads.
Food and service is always so good. Love their pizza and love their salads.
Don't let the name change fool you still awesome as always.
The pizza is as good as everyone suggested! Fresh mozzarella was fantastic, and they had some other unique cheeses to choose from as well. Ingredients were very fresh. Our waitress was extremely helpful at explaining some of the unique toppings, and all of the staff was very friendly. They also had a few great local beers on rotation, which was nice.
We just waited over 15 minutes for water and they must be understaffed because we were never served.
Their gluten free pizza is probably the best in Denver.
My experience was great because the environment is very friendly after a nice movie. They are friendly and there service is great.
Wow. Great food, great service and a great price. Fast, fresh and friendly. Stop by for lunch. Great deal for a salad and zza.
EDIT: the quality and taste made up for the wait. I was dining in on a busy night so my original review was a bit harsh. I was just a hangry man, ill-equipped for the unexpected wait. Also the GF crust is just incredible, as good as it can get really.
My boss is from Rome and he brings his parents here when they visit. Real pizza, quality ingredients and delicious!
Making a pizza is an art .. when you make a pizza then add too it makes it fail ... I order a sausage and pepperoni pizza then add $ 3.50 for each topping is asking to much .. so good luck on your staying for for the future but I think it will end very soon ... Keep your prices reasonable and make a future..
I ordered a manhattan pizza.. $20 and was one of my worst pizza of life. Did not even added enough chicken and other ingredients. Hated it!
The owner Marco was awesome - he was able to recreate for me a "ripieno al forno" - kinda like a calzone, with ricotta, spicy salame (salami) topped with pomodoro (tomato paste) and fresh basilico (basil). Totally off-menu. Similar to what one gets in Napoli. 5 stars. Pair it with a Nastro Azzuro and you have a good evening on your hands.
Pizza was great and the brunch prices (+ bottomless mimosas) were a great deal!
Great pizza from a wood-fired oven, decent prices, little hard to talk over the lunch crowd but a good pizza place overall!
My husband and I are trying a different pizza place each week. This place was fantastic. Pizza had great fresh flavors and it came out crazy fast. The owner came over and talked to us and was amazing. We also tried a nutella pizza (compliments of the manager) and it was so good!! Presentation wasn't the best but flavor was on point!
Well this place used to be a decent place to go to when I bought herb next door at Denrec. For some reason I suppose one of the servers called the tow truck company and had my car towed. I went to get herb and when I went to put it in my car before going to get pizza at Marco's, I realized they towed my car. This is disappointing because I go there quite a bit. I never had any issues before . The manager even had the nerve to be like yeah man this happens all the time. I swear it seems like they have a good racket there going after people that look like out of towners. The tow truck company and the restuarant must be making good money working together. To make it even worse the guy at the tow truck company has the worst customer service I have ever seen. I hope no one has to deal with what I just went through.... ridiculous
This pizza was amazing! The limenchello wings were very zesty, the house salad was good. The tiramisu was hands down the best one I've ever tasted, it absolutely melts in your mouth, decadent, creamy delicious.
Good quality ingredients but it was pretty bland (besides the awesome pepper flakes!).
The best pizza I've ever had in my life. A little pricey but worth every bite.
Great pizza! One of the best ive ever had! Went on a Saturday for brunch and seen the live dj. This really lightened the place up with a good vibe. Awesome place to have a pizza
This is great pizza. Lunch special is where it's at.
Marco s Coal Fired is the best pizza in Denver. Their Happy Hour is also the best. If you ve visited Napoli, Italy, for a pizza pilgrimage, and you crave authentic pizza, this is the place for you! Also try the Aperol Spritz please.
Every single pizza we tried was so good!! We tried about 7 different kinds and the nutella for dessert. Our server and the owner/mgr was great!!
This place is overrated, Little caesar taste better. I will not eat there again.
Marcos has great food, but my waitress Elena stole the show... This passionate Puerto Rican gem knows the menu inside and our and gave a fantastic presentation, and superior service. If you don't go for the good great food then go just to experience this gem in the service world, a true professional and a delight will bring a spark to your night. 5 stars everytime
Watch where u park if you dont go directly in they will tow you went next door 1st then there and when I got back I was towed
Outstanding food and drinks! You won't be disappointed!
Restaurant charged 2$ more than what I signed on my check. I signed for 37.50$, got charged 39.50$. It does not matter if the food was good or bad. This is unacceptable, as this is FRAUD, even if the amount is small.
Just went to Marco's for the first time earlier this evening with my daughter who loves pizza. Everything about it is absolutely FABULOUS!!! The atmosphere is warm and charming, our waitress Elena was incredibly friendly, fun, and helpful with great recommendations. Last but not least, the food was out of this world!! Best margherita pizza either of us ever had...and we've had a lot! Delicious salad and desserts as well! You must try it!
Cool place with delicious food! We had pizza and coffee. Everything was fresh and tasty. Prices were reasonable and service was excellent. Our waiter told us from what ingredients pizza are made and gave us a few helpful recommendations.
We will definitely go back!
From true Napoletana Pizza, to fantastic lasagna, meatballs only you grandmother makes, and a staff that will keep you laughing while taking care of you with the best service. Rachael, Marc, AJ and the crew will make your experience great.
I had high hopes. Coal fired pizzas usually come out crispy. The pizza I had was soft, doughy and incredibly floppy. I'm not sure if that's their style but it's not for me. Quality ingredients though. It just didn't come together.
Great atmosphere and wonderfully delicious food. Only down side was having to pay for a drink that I did not like and did not drink from the bar. But other than that a great experience.
Awesome food. Fun place to have a few easy drinks. Staff is friendly and attentive
Love this place. Great brick oven pizza and super fast. The wait staff is excellent and very friendly. I recommend the Raccas Mule. Delicious.
Perfectly cooked Italian pizza with thin crust and delicious bubbly edges.the closest thing to the pizzas you find in Europe. Delicious!
My family came into town searching for a good gluten free pizza place. We were not disappointed. This place is awesome, offering not only gluten free but vegan options with their GF crust made in-house. Our server (Robin) was attentive, friendly and very helpful. The restaurant itself was clean and the food was delicious. Highly recommended.
Great food, great location, great staff!... If you sit at the bar, ask for AJ! Local kid and great bartender!!
Cute place, but that alone shouldn't account for near $20 12' pizzas. The pizzas were very sloppy. Which was surprising because one we ordered only had one topping and still super soggy. There were also several flies in the restaurant which made it hard to eat because we were constantly shooing away flies. I did see other dishes that looked much better (wings, lasagna, salad.) but for a place with "pizza" in it's name the pizzas were no better than the $10 ones from competitors. We were hungry and in a hurry so definitely still ate and did not complain..but wouldn't go out of my way to stop here again.
Amazing gluten-free pizza!! Chose this place because my boyfriend can't eat food with wheat in it and the reviews on the gf pizza here made this restaurant appealing. It did not disappoint. My bf LOVED his pizza + chicken wings and I loved my pizza as well. Priced appropriately
Mouth waterring pizza at first bite. Best pizza I've ever had. Hands down
Our server kailey was amazing it was our first time here and we will be coming back. Thank you.
Great pizza. The mozzarella was really fresh and the crust light. Fantastic atmosphere.
I thought the pizza here was pretty good, nothing special though and definitely not worth the price. I was hoping after seeing the prices on the menu that we would get nothing but the most quality ingredients, but was dissapointed in the sausage and the meatballs. The margherita pizzas only had like 4 leaves of basil. The service was excellent though, super friendly, and the restaurant is beautiful.
Elena was the absolute best. She was extremely friendly and a fabulous waitress. She made our last day in Denver a wonderful experience. The food is exceptional- the caprese salad was phenomenal!
Best pizza in Denver, hands down. The crust has just a slight amount of char on it from the oven, the toppings are top notch, they've got a significantly large selection of Italian meats that will not disappoint. Several Moscow mule options, if you'd like a cocktail. Don't question yourself, just go here, you won't be disappointed.
My family and I went to go eat lunch and the service here is very rude and no personalities Pizza Hut is better. I rate them - star
ABSOLUTE BEST GLUTEN FREE PIZZA OF MY LIFE. They make it in house and it looks and tastes like regular pizza crust (it s not a thin little cracker crust like at most places). This was my first trip to Denver and I will definitely come to Marco s every visit!!
Always great pizza. It's all about their oven. (And top notch ingredients) This is what pizza should be.
The bartender who picked up the phone was so rude to me. When I walked in it wasn t busy at all and all the employees just stared at me instead of helping me. The pizza is so small and not worth the price.
A
Best. Vegan. Pizza. Ever. Best all around server EJ, awesome pre-game bottomless mimosa stop.
Super sweet staff and amazing food. Highly recommend the margarita pizza, spinach dip, and the rock-tini!!! The manager noticed our table wobbling and fixed it immediately, as well as making sure we got an umbrella when it started sprinkling, and Our server robin was so sweet and helpful. Please spend your money at this establishment!!
Omg this place is amazing the rotolo is amazing pizza out of this world service was amazing
Awesome patio out back. Great service for private party.
Everything I hoped it would be! Lovely service. Try the caprese!
Great pizza. I also highly recommend the wings. A bit pricey, but they use top quality ingredients and the food was fantastic. Will be back multiple times for sure!
Service couldn't have been better. Big group for family reunion and we kept changing our numbers...11, 14, 12...etc...
Wonderful waitress suggested she keep track of separate checks - that's how to keep a family reunion happy!
Food was great across the board.
The pizza was excellent, I had the Hell s Kitchen. It is a little spicy but I liked that. The waiter seemed to forgot about us, so it took a long time. I noticed other people with different waiters come and go before us. I would still go back for the pizza though!
Great food. Especially the Trio of desserts was epic!
Not that good ... if this is Denvers best pizza , I feel bad for Denver !
An easy 5 stars! This is by far the most delicious pie I've ever tasted, hands down. The atmosphere is great along with the music, and also a good selection of beer. The wait staff was also amazing. This was my first experience at a real Italian pizzeria and anything I asked our waitress, she knew the answer to. I tend to order the meat lovers types of pizza, so she recommended, "The Butcher." Wow, was it fantastic! Also, to the gentleman who was slicing the meat for the pies, thanks for giving my friends and I a sample. I didn't really expect you to after we were just joking, you're the man! Will frequent when I'm in Denver and recommend, thanks for the hospitality!
The food was excellent! The pizza was wonderful and reasonably-priced. Toppings were fresh and it was a true Italian style pizza.
Only thing I didn't like was the loud DJ music. I don't understand why restaurants do these things. If I'm out eating with other people, I want to talk with them, not stare at them while terrible music plays.
Best Pizza I've had EVER! Group of 5 all loved it! The Del Re and Brooklyn was amazing!!!
I lived in Italy for a bit. This is every bit as good. Amazing stuff.
Food is great for dine in. DoorDash prices are marked up $2-$3 more than in-house menu.... Surprising how such a high profile restaurant is able to slide past the third parties' filters in doing so.
Wonderful pizza and great service! It's our new favorite pizza place. My dad doesn't even like pizza that much and we've been there twice in the past week. We've tried a couple of the brunch pizzas, and some of the regulars, and our favorites were the Sicilia and the Umbria. Yum!!
Not quite like Naples but good pizza, go give it a try !
Great little Italian dinner location near the ball park.
Wonderful atmosphere in the basement setting for a romantic evening on a budget
Great service ...awesome wood fired pizza
A rather large group of us had the pleasure of trying their pizza while on a food tour. The only certified Italian ( real pizza ) place in town and it was definitely yummy! We also sampled the limoncello and it was very sweet and easy to go down. This would have been a wonderful date location with how the ambience is. Service was great as well.
