Outstanding service and fantastic pizza. Probably some of the best pizza I ve ever had in the United States (and I ve had a LOT). Very authentic to the Italian Neapolitan style, most places doing neo-Italian have floppy moist crust towards the center, but this place the pie was crispy and leopard patched all through the pie evenly. Beautiful pizza with very kind servers.

Another visit to this awesome gem near Coors Field. Delicious food, fast and friendly staff, good service, and kid-friendly. The pizzas are baked in a flame-fired brick oven and brought to the table burning hot. Just excellent, simply excellent. Looking forward to my next visit.

Wood fire Pizza and wings were delicious... Fresh mozzarella and buffalo mozzarella, and a really good sauce. Service was good up until the server charged us $6 extra for our pizza. We asked about if it made sense to do the build your own or just modify one of the existing options on the pizza because we wanted to do a half and half. We got half ricotta and meatballs and half buffalo mozzarella and fresh mozzarella, and we somehow got charged $20 for the pizza, even though the build your own would have been $14.50. When I asked him about it, he said there's no substitutions on the normal pizzas, as if that made it acceptable to charge us $20
for what should have been a $14 pizza, and he didn't take the charge off. In that case, he should have rung us up for the build your own! Seemed a bit like he was trying to run the bill up. Too bad because the experience otherwise was very good.

Patio is beautiful to sit out on as well, although the location appears to be in somewhat of a bad area. Maybe wouldn't go there at night.

Last night my sister and I drove all the way to Denver just to find a great pizza restaurant for my birthday dinner, it was freezing outside so we just randomly walked into Racca's and immediately fell in love! With the beautiful decor, we loved how friendly EVERYONE was, we loved how fast the service was, and how amazingly delicious the food was! Amanda was one of the most amazing waitresses I've ever had! She was so awesome & so helpful & she definitely needs a raise! There was professional service and it was quite impressive. I will definitely return with not only my family & friends but I will also recommend this restaurant to everyone I know! Thanks again for a fantastic night & wonderful service!

Ehhh... It was ok, and I feel like you have to actively try to mess up pizza for me not to like it. With that said, I did not hate it, and I would probably try it again if someone wanted to meet up and they loved the place. It s not the worst, but not as good as expected by the recommendation we got from a self proclaimed Pizza Snob , but maybe I have bad taste.

Best GF crust I ever had. We came back a second time and the pizza was a little cold - our server EJ went over and beyond to make it right and made us feel good about the whole thing . Highly recommend !!!!!!

We were on vacation from Chicago and they immediately made us feel welcome. They even gave us a whole Nutella pizza complimentary. Very friendly, extremely fast and great service. I would go here all the time if I could

We were so excited to try this place. We had heard and read so much. It is a quaint small place. It is so small it is hard to have a private conversation as the tables are so close together.

The pizza here is great. We had the Butcher pizza and it was amazing. Additionally we tried the Del Re with the gluten free crust which was surprisingly good for a gluten free crust. The coal fired ovens make the crust taste amazing and ensure that the crust is nice and crispy. The topping quality is top notch for pizza in the area.

Stopped in several weeks ago on a busy Friday. As we are both met in college and shared many late nights and pizza slices we had low expectations for the pizza made in the Mile High. We were sorely wrong. Seated near the kitchen, we watch the crew pump out pizza all night long without fail AND it tasted fantastic. Beyond the excellent food, our waiter (Mystik - spelling? - sorry girl!) was hands down the best server that we have had in the four years of living in Colorado. She made sure to offer house favorites and upgrades to the food that we were ordering. We took one of her many suggestions and added the Limoncello wings - amazing. It so incredibly hard to find people who truly enjoy working in the service industry but the team at Marco's blew us out of the water. I seriously cannot give enough praise to our gracious waiter that night - hustling hard but making sure that every single table that night felt at home - inviting us to future Happy Hours and going above and beyond. 5 stars from a bunch of East Coasters - I'm truly sad we haven't been back yet.

Pizza was good, although I've had better. I would come back to try something else. We ended up coming for brunch. I had the eggs a la Norma, which was very tasty. They have a DJ at brunch which was kind of loud.

Such good food and awesome prices!! We both had $4 drinks, an amazing spinach dip, meatball sliders, a marg flatbread and a cannoli for $30, and we were on a kickass patio with a super fun waitress, Elana! I have no idea why this place is so empty, I highly recommend it!

Absolutely wonderful! Fresh, authentic, delicious pizza! It only takes 90 seconds for them to cook it so it's a quick turn around on your order! Our server was terrific: friendly, attentive, and helpful (he tracked down the name of the ice tea they serve because we loved it so much). I would go back here in a heartbeat!!!

The pizza is good and the kids ate well here. We didn't try the Neww York half of the menu but the neapolitan pizza was excellent. We ate here before the Rockies game and The pizza came out fast and the service was very good.

After reading the reviews I m guessing this is a local favorite. No shame in that game, but take my review with a grain of salt(surprise, we re up from STL). Don t go with the Bloody Mary, probably the mimosa. The fire roasted aspect is awesome and I understand with that comes extra price at times. I didn t quite understand the flatbread being served with the wings, but no sauces. The wings are incredible and I would have them again. With the addition of the flatbread though it dries you out. Next time I m going for their signature pizza and if necessary add some stars to my review. I would eat here again.

I live in this neighborhood and like Marcos pizza. I have only had great experiences at this location. However, the last time I was in Marcos, things took a nasty turn. Upon taking my seat at the bar, I noticed there was a heated discussion developing at the other end of the bar. A guy who I can only assume was a manager (later found out his name is E.J.) and a staff member seated at the bar. E.J. Was upset with this employee and made a scene at the bar, yelling and bullying the young woman. She tried to apologize many times and was railroaded by E.J. At every attempt to correct her mistake. Of course I was watching this all go down. My chair was facing the direction of the confrontation and E.J. was loud and obnoxious. All of a sudden E.J. Pointed at me and said. I see you staring at me I see you watching in an attempt to intimidate me. This behavior must stop. It is NOT ok to intimidate women or any one else for that matter. I hope Marcos takes the time to make sure that they are creating a safe atmosphere for all people. In times like this people like E.J. Need to be re-educated on how humans should be treated.

Visiting for the weekend and decided to visit Marco s after a long day of walking downtown. We walked in a few minutes to closing but were still giving friendly service! Matt was our server and he made excellent recommendations. We were expecting just a normal pizza joint, but were pleasantly surprised by the delicious pizza! You could taste the home made recipes. The pizza sauce was delicious and everything was great. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I had tried a "Margarita Pizza" about 8 years ago in SLC, UT that was by far the best ever and we have tried to find a "Margarita Pizza" as good ever since 2010 at many pizza places with no success. We actually found one just as good if not better at Marco's Coal Fired Pizzeria in Downtown Denver as of today. We will now be a frequent customer driving down from North Thornton, CO. it is extremely well worth the drive!!

From the moment we walked in, the experiment was great. The host at the door was friendly and made sure we had a clean and prepared table before he sat us. Brittany it waiter was very friendly and nice. She gave us the whole run down of the menu since it was our first time. Pizza had what I imagine is a genuine Italian vibe. The atmosphere is nice and having an open kitchen is really nice. 10/10 would go again.

Not enough nice things to say about our experience tonight!!! Definitely coming back here again! Awesome food and even better customer service. Also, when we were leaving we got a hug from some of the staff.... Seriously such a good experience....

I eat here fairly regularly and while the food is excellent and pizza is pretty fast to get to the table they never seem to staff properly if there is a large party. The wait staff had to be reminded several times to get us just our initial water. Our drink orders only there in a decent amount of time because another wait person took the order. My second cocktail didn't arrive until I was done with my food. In addition to this the music is played so loud the waitress even had trouble hearing us.

Great food but massively inconsistent service and environment.

One of my favorite pizza places in Denver. They're happy hours deals are incredible. It's difficult to beat a $5 personal pizza with fresh mozzarella and basil. Yummy. Everything is always fantastic.

Highly recommend! As two Philadelphians here for a long weekend, we wanted to have a laid back, artisan pizza experience for our last dinner in Denver, and that is exactly what we got. More than the creamy tomato basil soup, and the featured pizza special of the day, the lasting impressions left by this facility will boil down to their phenomenal staff. Marc was our server, and he made sure that we were always comfortable with enough water/beverages, etc. Since we are visitors, we asked for some recommendations and he was very knowledgeable about the offerings. Even staff that wasn't designated to our party were incredibly friendly.
