It's a nice place to stay in Hong Kong. Conveniently located near the harbour. Easy to catch a boat across to Central or Wan Chai. Canton road shopping and restaurants are all around. Well maintained cosy atmosphere.
It s really good. 1000 mosquitoes don t need 2 people. A double bed room. VIP floor. Afternoon tea and snacks plus Italian sparkling wine. The breakfast buffet for two persons is really value-for-money food.
Occasionally you should be better with yourself. Most like the invincible sea view.

The location is close to Harbour City and shopping is very convenient. The room is clean and the cp value is high. The waiters are warm and courteous, especially the executive floor service girls are responsive, and the efficiency is first-class, and must be re-entered next time!

The service is good. But the room is a little outdated. The AC is making big noises. The worst thing though is the WiFi, which is extremely slow. A good thing about the hotel is that MTR offers a free shuttle just next to the hotel that takes people to Kowloon station, where they can transfer to Airport Express Train.

I've stayed at the Gateway for the past four years fit weekend business trips. It's in a fantastic location to access most of Hong Kong. The room service is pretty good. And the staff are some of the friendliest people I've met.
We stayed with family, but room was large and was comfortable.
I spent 3 nights in a room with a continental lounge. The breakfast and cocktail time meals were also very fulfilling and the menu was different every day. As it is convenient location condition, we can return to the hotel anytime and can take a relaxing break in the lounge. The content is different from the Canton Lounge, so confirmation is required when making a reservation.

It was a perfect experience in this hotel, all the crew helpful, especially the staff from the desk they helped us a lot with a beautiful smile although we don't speak Chinese language.
The attitude of the front desk staff was very kind. They frankly admitted when they encountered something they were not familiar with, and immediately inquired and assisted in solving them. The sea view room is spacious and tidy, with a separate pantry and luggage room, and the toilet bathtub and wash basin are separated by doors. The sea view room faces the Central West Ring area, with sunset views and first-rate views. The facilities are a bit outdated but kept clean. Even if you add a room for free, you don t need 1,000 yuan, but you get a 1,000 yuan meal coupon. The breakfast is rich. Two people can eat buffet breakfast and buffet lunch. The "food, lodging, sigh" discount is really super value, and you can also check out until 6 o clock. , It's really good.

Checked in during the night, had to wait 30 minutes before luggage arrived in the room, after being on a plane for 14 hours, you just want to sleep. Beautifull rooms with great view over Hong Kong

There are 3 marco polo hotels in the area and if you catch a taxi from airport make sure to tell the driver marco polo hong kong.
The location is one of the best i suppose, it is located in busy tsim tsa tsui area with lots of shops around. The check in was quick and easy but the only downfall for this 5 stars hotel was the room look very old/tired and didn't look like a 5 stars hotel. Also the bed is very small, i think it was a double bed instead of king size.
If you are a shoppaholic, i think this is the right hotel because the hotel connected to harbour city mall which consist of hundred of branded stores and one of the biggest mall i have been to in hong kong.
Overall, will try another marco polo hotels (gateway or prince) instead.
It is a luxury hotel with spectacular views over the bay. My room was on the 17th floor, in the Continental Club where we had a private concierge (only for guests on floors 17 and 18) and where there was a lounge with very comfortable sofas where we could eat and drink everything we wanted without pay anything It was open 24 hours. The hotel is inside the largest mall I have been to. It is a complex of a shopping center, plus the hotel and offices. It is very well located and has spectacular views. Regarding the services, I don't know if my experience is valid because it was only that of the Continenal Club Lounge, the rest of the hotel, I hardly knew him. Very highly recommended.
The sea view room is beautiful, the bedding is very comfortable, and the staff service is first-rate!
The soundproofing of the guest room is weak. The sound of closing doors outside the passage, the noise of the elevator, the voice of people, and the voice of the people next to the guest room are all clear and audible! There are more maintenance works upstairs in the morning!
Room service on the first day has 100 points! But the second day silk road ice coffee is 1/3 less and the top seems to be disfigured! I ordered medium well steak. The first time overcooked was overcooked into a row of curls / no bread / no Hot water! For the second time, there was a lot of blood that was more alive than medium/ there was a burnt baking paper/no sauce on the steak! The whole room service took a few minutes and I don t want to eat anymore.

The hotel is a fantastic location on this side of HongKong and while we had a atrocious check in ( we arrived with a mass tour group who checked in as well) the stay was pleasant. We went to the Michelin starred restaurant Ye Shanghai. The food is really delicious and service is good. However the tables are a bit tight and they cannot give us a booth even when we requested it at time of reservation.
High value for money there is a swimming pool on the sixth floor. Well equipped hotel in general at a convenient location makes this a four-plus-star hotel.
