EXTREMELY difficult to get a time set up to view any home with them, I text back and worth with Charlotte which would not show the home unless the time was convenient to her, when I mentioned that we both worked till 5 her response was "send someone else in your place"

My cabinet in my kitchen was coming off wall. It was pressed wood ,the maintenance guy himself said they were cheap. The maintenance guy pieced it back together and I hope it won't fall
I am retired and always feel I have to site why things need to be done. I even had my carpet shampooed myself. My unit was never painted or carpeted shampooed.
I like the area and the size of the unit. Most of the neighbors are great and there are others that you have to call police on and Marchant has been told abt the loud music,the fighting and the four cars that they have parked and two not one and one has no tags.
Top notch company with a great team - They are easy to work with and provide excellent customer service.

Great rental company, everyone is very nice and they are very quick at having repairs done.
I was fortunate enough to have Marchant as my property management when I rented and very professional people and courteous. Only problem I had was when something broke or needed attention they relied on homeowner to fix and sometimes that would take two or three days. The property management I use now you call them within the hour you have a business out fixing your problem no questions asked.

I was referred to Marchant Property Management by my now retired Area Relocation Property Management's owner, who had managed my properties in Greenville and Spartanburg areas for over a decade. At first I was a little worried because I had my fair share of mediocre PM in the areas before. It turned out that Marchant Property Management is one the best PM I've had, not just in South Carolina but in comparison to many other states that I had my properties. They are efficient, totally trustworthy, absolutely professional, they protect my interests and they take care of the tenants. We moved to Greenville in early 2014 and leased a property from Marchant Company, and they made the process very easy and streamlined. When it came time for us to move out in early 2018, we encountered some problems with the Landlord of the property in getting our security deposit returned. Hunter Hughey of Marchant was able to step in on our behalf, even though he had a business relationship with the Landlord, and was able to convince her that she did indeed need to return our deposit. Hunter was very diplomatic and professional in intervening for us, and handled the matter very promptly. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for property to purchase or lease.

We have a rental property that has been plagued with a number of bad tenants. In 2014 we did some renovations to the property and handed the management of the rental over to Marchant. Our property rented to an outstanding tenant within a two month period and we haven't had any issues since Marchant took over management. If I ever obtain another rental in the Upstate area I will be contacting Marchant Property Management for their expertise.
DO NOT. I repeat DO NOT work with this agency. They are MONEY HUNGRY. They charge extremely high security deposit then don't return it. They make you wait 3 months to fix appliances during covid saying that was an excuse. We gave notice 3 months in advance saying that we were moving out early, yet they never filled the spot.. The entire family was forced into quarantine and had to vacate 5 days later then expected (again they did not fill the spot and we were still having to pay for February). They used covid as an excuse but suddenly when we actually have it, we can't use it as an excuse. We even offered to show them a doctors note. This agency has the nerve to tell us we are required to pay for an extra month because they cant do their job and fill the spot. we told you 3 months ago we were breaking our lease early. Also required to keep duke on for 2 extra months . Ripping us off a grand total of 3,000$ PLUS 1500 security deposit that they owe us because they use YOUR security deposit to pay for cleaning and carpet cleaning services(because they cant do their jobs).

I was trying to rent one of their properties that they had listed, actually I was interested in several. I could not get them to call me back and when I finally did see a property, they made the entire process agonizing for us. Yes, we have a dog,a very well behaved dog that we have rented with for 5 years. The whole pet process they mention on the website was/is just ridiculous and costly and this was all after fighting to get a hold of an actual person for a week just to see one of their properties.If you're looking to rent from them - don't and if you're an owner looking to list with them- absolutely DO NOT
