It was a very smooth and fast response. $49 for a GP during the week, day and evenings and more during late night hours and weekends. The entire session from start to finish was 15 minutes. I needed rapid treatment... I could not make it to a clinic due to various reasons, it was a Friday afternoon and drs offices were closing. I had a chat session and could have had a video call but the chat was all that we needed because my ailment didn't require for me to have a visual examination. I do know that they can do throat and other assessments via camera on your phone device. I was diagnosed and then was asked to provide identification. Make sure that you have it ready for varification. (Drivers License,health card) but not for billing just I'd purposes. I was asked to take a picture of it near the end of the chat. One minute later I had a prescription and after the payment was sent there was a location map to show what pharmacy you wanted Maple to send it to.1 hour later I got a notification from Shoppers Drug Mart that it was ready. I'm sure pharmacies sometimes take longer but I was lucky. Dr James Kim was very attentive and knowledgeable. Maple really has this figured out.

I was told about this service from the Pharmacist at Shoppers Drug Mart. I registered and less than 5 minutes I was chatting with a Dr. I was in quite a bit of discomfort and after an assessment I had a diagnosis and a Rx was given, and the Rx was sent to the pharmacy and 20 mins later I had my Rx. I would truly recommend this service to anyone. Fast and efficient. It has been a week later and I m feeling 100%. Thank you so much Maple!!!

I was feeling very unwell on Good Friday and in need of a new prescription of an antibiotic because the one I had from my Doctor the day prior was making me ill to the stomach. The process was simple, quick and painless to navigate. The doctor I chatted with was great, she asked the right questions and in a few minutes had agreed that a new med was appropriate. She set it up at the local pharmacy of my choice. I truly hope that the future of our mainstream healthcare can include this service. Bravo Maple you saved me on a holiday long weekend. Without this service I would have been forced to go to the emergency at the hospital. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

By far the worst experience I have ever had in my entire life with any Telehealth these people do not know what they're doing I was left waiting for an hour and 45 minutes with nobody coming to the phone to check in on me total joke don't waste your time these guys are not medical professionals they are liars

A great service provided temporarily free through Shoppers Drug Mart. Moved to Nova Scotia from Ontario & 6 days living here, required medical attention, but I had no family dr. Maple dr on line was quick & easy. He sent a necessary prescription directly to my local pharmacy. Normally this would be a $49/consult cost, too bad our insurance companies don't cover this cost as it would greatly reduce wait times & put less strain on the provincial health care systems.

I had a great experience with Maple. I went from submitting my information, to speaking with a doctor within an hour. I was prescribed something to treat my rosacea during the conversation, and will be receiving my medicine (delivered to my door!) within the next couple of days. I had to pay to speak to a dermatologist because I'm not covered, but it beats visiting my doctor (especially during the pandemic) and waiting 6+ months to see a dermatologist. Would highly recommend!

I'm in love with Maple. The ability to get access quickly and affordably to necessary medical care is so valuable. The support was great, the setup process was easy, and I will definitely continue to use the service.

When I called my personal doctor, to tell him that I had an outbreak of shingles, I was told to go to the hospital. I felt very uncomfortable at these times to go to the hospital, so I used the service that Maple provides. Within 15 minutes I was talking to a doctor and I had a prescription for an anti -viral medication. This was sent to a pharmacy of my choice and I picked up my medication 20 minutes later. Since I was able to start the medication swiftly I had the shingles virus under control within 2 days and all symptoms are now gone now 7 days later. Amazing, simple, informative, helpful and super quick compared to making an appoint, travelling to the appoint, waiting to be seen by a doctor etc. I provided my issue upfront, the doctor asked questions much like a doctor would ask in a consultation, told me what to be on the look out for in case further medical attention was required and he gave me a prescription. Filling the prescription was super easy and fast. It was the best doctor/patient experience I have had, all from home!

I was very impressed with this service. The app was quick and easy to use. The doctor was compassionate, articulate, and professional. No other medical service in my region was open in the evening on a Friday, but with Maple I was able to quickly speak to a Canadian doctor from the comfort of my own home. Highly recommend.

A friend told me about this site, I was hesitant at first. Took about 3 minutes in total for the dr to review my information. I left the house went to the pharmacy and was unsure if there would be a prescription for me, but there was. I was so happy to have some help in my discomfort. Like many great things.... First one was free and costs too much after that. Using Maple was the most amazing experience I have had. I was in pretty serious pain and could not get to see a doctor. Within 15 minutes I had a prescription faxed to my local pharmacy. Awesome service. Wish it wasn't $79 to use again.

Honestly, I've had a hard time getting a doctors appointment because the appointments available did not work with my schedule. I desperately needed a refill on my asthma medication. This was the most convenient thing ever, got a refill, which was faxed to my local pharmacist. Easy!

This app is fantastic!!! It was so easy, quick, and painless. The doctor I dealt with was fantastic. I spoke to a doctor who sent over my prescription to my pharmacy ASAP and was able to do this all, including picking up my prescription, within an hour!

There was minimal wait time for the online consultation. It's easy to take and upload pictures. Lab Results are posted on the site without delay and email notification is provided. Very satisfying experience.

Maple is amazing. If I have a question about the kids and I's health I can have answers in moments and a prescription if necessary at my pharmacy within 10 minutes.

Great online services, wait time was minimal. Dr.'s note was a little vague and open ended. This caused confusion with my employer but that is not Maple's fault. their service is exemplary

Terrible service, this is a scam. Unless you have a flu these guys will reject you in 99% of the cases. Absolute joke. they just reject you and dont tell you what to do. Its just "No, we can't treat you, try again if you are lucky someone will accept to see you". No guidance, no alternatives. Complete waste of time

It was really easy booking appointment through this app. The only problem was the message displayed when i try to book before 8 AM. It displayed bookings are full today and check back tomorrow after 8 AM. But it worked when I tried after 8 AM on the same day. May have to update the message

Since going to the doctor causes me anxiety, this worked really well for me. Wasn't sure what to do the first time around, but now I know and would defiantly use it again.

I had a really positive experience with Maple, I was able to connect with a doctor within minutes. He took the time to ask me questions and provided lots of information in return. The prescription he wrote was sent directly to my chosen pharmacy where I was able to pick up the medication immediately. The whole process was very easy, the website/app is very user friendly. I would highly recommend this to anyone that wants to avoid waiting hours at a walk-in or ER.

I don't have a doctor with whom I can make an appointment, so getting prescriptions renewed is time consuming and inconvenient. The experience with Maple was exactly what I needed. Within ten minutes I had had a consultation and they faxed my renewal directly to the pharmacy. The only thing that would have made it perfect would have been a prescription for a longer time frame. It's a small concession to make for the convenience.

I suffered during pandemic for 18 gruesome night from rash and itching on body for which my fam doc prescribed meds to treat the itching ineffectively. I raised my concern to see a dermatologist only to discover I can t meet them for another 20 days. Called emergency at Hospital and was told best to pay for a dermatologist. I knew about Maple but never was so desperate to try paying out of pocket for a specialist. Decided that if one can help me it is worth every penny. Signed up and was connected to an amazing local dermatologist with 25 years of experience, knowledgeable and caring to spend 30 mins questioning my symptoms, pulling the results of the bloodwork and assure me nothing systematic is wrong- that my fam doc did not even inform me are ready online sooner than I thought. He then went above and beyond telling me what he believed it is and recommended we do a biopsy, prescribed me new medication that worked in 24 hrs to relieve all symptoms of itching. I can not be more grateful to Maple and the doctors who collaborate with it. Thank you for bringing peace back to my life!

The service was excellent and quick. The dr asked pertinent questions, viewed a picture of the issue I was having. Prescribed a prescription and advised me to check in with my dr or walk in clinic if I didn't start feeling better in 48 hours. I started feeling better the next day.

I described symptoms I was having and advised it sounded more viral but if breathing got worse to go to the ER.

I used Maple as Shoppers Drug Mart had a promotion to cover the appointment fee, and I needed a prescription refill. I created an account, chatted with a nurse practitioner within 15 minutes, and provided a photo of my ID. The NP prescribed a 3 month refill and I was able to choose where to pick it up. The process was quick and seamless, and I definitely will consider using Maple in the future!

An awesome experience recommended by Shoppers Drug Mart! My own doctor wasn t available at the time I needed and this was a great alternative. The doctor was awesome, very thorough for over the phone and made me feel very comfortable and at ease with what was going on.

Maple is a pure blessing. Was denied my first request but was encouraged to resubmit a more detailed description to a Maple Doctor of my situation by a representative and my prescription was filled. My wife and I have used Maple twice in the last month. What a revolution in health care. Maple not only allowed us to get the medcine we needed quickly, we also didn't have to make an appointment, travel to the doctor or sit in a waiting room. This how it should work our community doesnt have enough doctors and Maple not only gives us a access to other doctors it off loads our local system. Well worth the $49 which should be covered by health care plans because I'm sure it way cheaper than going to a doctor

Maple is such a fantastic service! I got to try it out through their partnership with Shoppers as I needed to have a prescription refilled and would definitely recommend it if you're able to pay for the visits. The website is very efficient and user friendly and the doctor I spoke with was very patient and helpful. If you're someone who doesn't like going to the doctor or hate the wait times in clinics I think you'll really enjoy this service! Will definitely be using it again in the future. :)

This system was easy and effective. During covid I was able to sign up and speak with a doctor about my concerns and get referral within an hour.

I could not get hold of my doctor after 22 phone calls the line was never not busy Shoppers Drugmart told me about this app to talk to a doctor to get my prescriptions refilled was a little work to get it going but very straightforward and it worked very well the doctor was amazing very kind and understanding and I got my prescriptions and I was able to get them filled at shoppers to boot it was a great experience

Easy to get a sick note for those times when your employer needs one - when you're not well but not sick enough to warrant a half day visit to the Dr, or you have the flu/cold and will be fine without the half day visit to the Dr or you're just really tired and need a mental health day but don't need psych services

Excellent source of medical information and help. Communication was virtually immediate. I wanted to make an appointment to visit my doctor but is difficult due to working in remote locations usually. This app connected me immediately with a doctor that addressed my issue and gave me a prescription which was easily forwarded to the pharmacy of my choice for pick up. Definitely recommend to anyone with limited time for appointments or access to a doctor.

I needed a prescription refill today and my doctor is out of the country until next month. The pharmacy was unable to advance me any pills. We have no walk-in clinics here just the ER and I would have been there for HOURS had I went.

Instead, I hopped online to Maple - a Canadian site that hooks you up with a doctor online. In 20 minutes, I had talked to the doctor via chat, got my refill faxed to the pharmacy and I'm heading there shortly to pick it up TODAY!

Best $50 spent ever. I hate going to the hospital and I will definitely use Maple again.

Maple's helped me a lot. In the past, getting a referral would seem impossible. It was hard enough to get in touch with my own family doctor, and if I finally did get to see a specialist, I had often been dismissed, and never received the medical attention I needed. I have a feeling my experience isn't unique. Maple is honestly a life-saver. For the first time in my life, I feel like I have some control and real help when it comes to my healthcare. Aside from solely the mechanisms of Maple, the customer service and attention to customer satisfaction is what brings me back to this app. Customer support is available as soon as possible, basically all the time. The app also asks you to rate your experience after every consultation. You would expect this level of care to apply to Ontario's overall healthcare, but this is unfortunately not the case. We need to do better for millions of undiagnosed and mistreated Canadians, and Maple is just one step forward <3

This is a great service although I wish they'd take more than one issue at a time. I also wish theyd' have access to our medical records so they can prescribe anyting needed.

This was the easiest doctor visit ever. My health issue was minor but annoying...to do with allergies.

When I first signed on the app said there was a 20 minute wait. I was chatting with the doctor after about 3 to 4 minutes.

The whole process took about 15 minutes and a prescription was then faxed to my local pharmacy. Then I got a call from the pharmacy telling me when I could pick it up.

Honestly I would rather do this than stand in line at a walk in clinic. I wish it was available for video chat (maybe it is??) and for all kinds of appointments.

It was quick, easy and a great way to find assistance when assistance has not been easy to get through the pandemic.

This service was very helpful. We had a big snow storm that cancelled an emergency appointment made to deal with a UTI and I was growing more and more uncomfortable and sick. Downloaded the app and within an hour I was picking up a prescription. Only downfall is that this service is private healthcare and not accessible for everyone. If this service were to be publicly funded it could seriously cut down wait times in emergency/walk-in care.

Great service! from call (5minutes response) to diagnosis, to prescription in hand for strep throat in 1 hr.... on a Saturday morning! The only alternative with family doctor unavailable..... in Gatineau.... 12 hour to xxx hour wait in emergency. ..... when you're feeling sick ! A highly recommended alternative.....
