I tried to contact a doctor about my prescription running out. I also tried to discuss two different health concerns (one being my mental health) and after being connected to over 8 different doctors was told I was unable to get referrals or my prescription refilled.
My number one concern is how this app is approaching those with mental illness seeking help. The doctor wouldn't even chat with me, I just received a message saying "cannot make referrals." Extremely dissatisfied.

Easy to use service, didn't over prescribe which is nice and instructed me on when I should see a Doctor in person if necessary, prescription sent right to my local pharmacy was waiting for me later that day. Will use the service again!

This was so easy. I needed a sick note for work but I wasn t feeling well enough to trek out and go to the walk In clinic. We all know what a pain that can be especially when you are not well. I saw the doctor with a minimal wait. I also had a doctors note sent to me as well. The customer support level of service is out of this world! My employer doubted the validity of my work note. Maple took care of this and phoned my employer to validate the note. Thank you for this amazing service!

They cancel consultation requests most of the time (example for a sinusitis), and refer you to a walk-in clinic after waiting for more than 15-20 min to talk to the dr. Not very useful.

Having an extremely frustrating technical insurance issue - BEWARE!! It says right on their website that the on-demand therapy is covered by most insurance companies (and I checked that mine would be covered) - yet they cannot provide the proper documentation in order to submit it for an insurance claim, and now I will not be reimbursed. I purchased a large credit package that would have been covered with insurance but now I feel scammed and they will not give me a refund for the remaining amount.

With everything that's going on with covid-19 right now this was really refreshing to talk to a doctor and have a prescription within 15 minutes. Doctor was professional ask questions asked for no pictures but we sent one anyway, and we loved how easy it was. We will be using the service again no doubt. Thank you

This application saved me from
having to go to the emergency or finding a clinic while I was on vacation in the middle of the woods. I only had access to small pharmacy a half hour away and badly needed a prescription! Worth the money for a quick emergency!!

Paid 79$ for a doctor to push a prescription I told him I was uncomfortable with. Didn t provide any details on the medication. And couldn t get a refund because I wouldn t give consent for them to access my medical information.

So helpful and quick! Said the wait would be 2+ hours, but was done within 15 min or so. Very easy, and the doctors are so nice and helpful. We didn't end up needing prescriptions, but the doctor answered all our questions and completed the appt very professionally. Will use again!

The app is so easy to use ! Friendly doctor and got my prescription within minute and was filled at the pharmacy of my choice . I rather use maple than go to my doctors office where I have to be in a waiting room with other people who might be contagious. Easy peasy to go with Maple ! 5 stars !

This is a good app. I used it to get a sense whether my health issue was serious enough to go to a doctor, the Doctor I spoke with gave me good advice.

My experience with Maple was very successful.
It was easy to get registered. I was connected with a very helpful and professional doctor quickly. Unfortunately the service can not offer close monitoring of chronic conditions.
I won t hesitate to call upon the service again.

Easy to register, download the app, as well as use it. Few apps get a full 5 stars in my books. This was an easy 5 stars. I would recommend this anytime you have a question or need medical guidance.

I had some difficulty navigating the website at first but eventually managed. I only wanted to make an appointment for a Covid-19 test so I could visit my father in his LTC facility and I thought it was much more complicated than necessary. i Having said that, a doctor called me immediately and my name went on the list for an appointment. I was told hospital would call within 24 hours and when that did not happen, I e-mailed Maple and someone responded immediately and reassured me. Today received a call, and an appointment with half an hour and my test has now been done. Much faster than sitting in line but making an appointment for a test shouldn't be so difficult. Thank you.

After leaving the ER diagnosed with severe back strain and hopped up on pain meds I thought the worst of my backpain had subsided, I was wrong. I was awakened the next morning by nonstop muscle spasms and could not get out of bed. Reaching for my phone, I contacted my doctor who could not see me for a couple of days. Unable to make it to the ER again or a walk-in clinic, I downloaded Maple. Within MINUTES (I am serious it was that fast) I was connected with a doctor who was able to assess my needs, review the note the ER doctor gave me and prescribed the medication I needed in order to be able to breathe without pain. The doctor was kind, attentive and listened when I told her I had a sensitive stomach (most doctors disregard this). I sent someone to pickup my prescriptions and I could relax knowing I was going to feel better soon.

If not for Maple, I don't know what I would have done. I am so grateful for this service and it was well worth the appointment fee.

Woke up feeling very under the weather on a Sunday morning when there were no walk in clinics or appointments available in my area. I had just moved to BC from the USA, and was in quarantine when I ran out of a key medication. I discovered it is not available over the counter here, and I would actually need a prescription to obtain it. Through my student health insurance, I was connected to Maple, and was able to talk to a doctor online, who then had my prescription written and sent to my preferred pharmacy, all within 20 minutes. Coming from the States, I was blown away by the speed, availability, and customer service provided by Maple. I will definitely be using their services again!

We have this service though work right now due to Covid 19 situation. I was able to use it to refill a prescription. Dr Andrew was very helpful and even suggested something that would suit my needs better. The process of choosing a pharmacy near by and sending it along to be filled was simple and straightforward.

I was very impressed with the service I received from the physician. My mom had a minor skin infection and I was able to upload a photo of the rash as well as her medications into her electronic medical history within the app. The physician reviewed the description of her issue and associated info and provided me with a consultation within 10 minutes. He also sent a prescription through the app which I sent on to my local pharmacy. My mom is already on the mend and I have recommended Maple to friends already. Thank you so much.

With there being clinics shutdown everywhere due to Covid, I was unable to get into my doctors for a prescription I needed. I signed up to Maple, and was connected with a doctor within 20 minutes! Had my prescription the same day. They faxed it to the pharmacy of my choice and I had it within the hour. Really convenient service, doctor was thorough and asked me questions to ensure what he prescribed what what I needed. I would definitely use this service again. They also offer free shipping if you don t need the prescription straight away and it will be delivered to your door.

I used the Maple service during Convid 19, my GP retired and no longer have a family doctor. I needed some prescriptions filled. What an amazing service, from the moment I registered to the web consult with the doctor, it took 15-20 min. Then had my prescription sent to my pharmacy. Problem solved. I should have done this a long time ago. Why go to a clinic when you can have a private consult in such a short time frame? The fees are minimal for the level of service you get. Again an Amazing service.

Dr. Justin Lau is a fantastic doctor. I have been fortunate to be matched with him a handful of times, and he always takes the time to explain and answer my questions/concerns.

I recently used this service and was more than impressed. It was quick and easy to use. When I first logged in and requested to see a doctor I was told the wait was 2 hours but in reality it was 10 minutes. Fast, efficient and thorough way to get a long standing prescription refilled. My family doctor retired in 2019 and I am on a waiting list to get a new doctor in Guelph. Previously, I have gone to a walk-in clinic to get this prescription refilled, which was time wasting and dehumanizing.
The interaction with the physician at Maple was effective and he was very polite and personal. The whole event took less than 30 minutes, and was accomplished by e-chat.

I tried Maple.I wouldn't. I could of lost an eye. I needed antibiotics. Had a sty on my The medication they gave me. The days later I had no choice but to go to emergency. It was safe. Do yourself a favour don't play with your body. Just go. There were two people in emergency. Plus I live downtown Toronto.

Fabulous experience! Within 20 minutes, I entered the Maple App, conversed with a Physician regarding a worsening eye infection, uploaded photos, had an appropriate prescription written and faxed to my local pharmacy.
