Well liked the ease of refilling a prescription instead of waiting for an appointment with my family doctor

The people at Maple are very organized, professional and friendly. They had a doctor call me and listen to my issues, we re able to provide me with a doctors note for work. I would refer them to friends and family. I will definitely use them again if warranted

Great app. Took the stress out of getting a COVID-19 test. Worked like a charm and the staff I encountered were very professional and did a great job. Thanks!!!

I was away from my home province and found out that my prescriptions were not valid in my current location. I faced days of back and forth with my doctor and home pharmacy to get new prescriptions, as my supply dwindled. A family member told me about Maple, and within a half hour of downloading the app and logging in, I had new prescriptions sent to a local pharmacy that were ready to pick up the next morning. The nurse practitioner who filled my prescriptions was thorough and pleasant to deal with. This is an excellent service that should be more widely publicized, especially with the difficulty finding a family doctor in many parts of the country.

AMAZING SERVICE. Needed a bloodwork lab req but typically have to wait 3-4 months to see my doctor or wait 2+ hours at a walk in clinic. Was able to get my lab req within 10 minutes and my BC MSP covers the cost of the online appointment. Doctor was very helpful and respectful. I also had a question about something and the Maple customer service reps were so quick at responding (something i'm not used to in the medical industry out here). Can't wait to recommend this service to my family & friends. Will be using for all my non emergency medical needs going forward.

So much more convenient than going to the doctor for something straightforward. A prescription was faxed to the pharmacy of my choice.

Wonderfully easy to use.
The assigned NP was helpful and caring, and you don t have to wait in a queue next to others with coughs/colds/flu. Such a lovely way to consult with the medical fraternity.

The app works great! Loved the fact I could put in my request and the doctor calls you when it s your turn, no waiting on hold just go about your day!

It was great to be able to get a prescription during these crazy days when it's hard to get in to see a doctor. Much safer than going to a doctor's office also.

I would give this 0 star. The support on the app is misguided. Support person believes I should ask the physician how many canadians are subscribed to Maple. No one seemed to be able to give me a straight answer. Not even Roxanan, one of the founders of Maple. Save your money, go see your nearest walk in clinic. If this is an emergency, call 911.

Fast, excellent service. An easy and convenient way to speak to a physician in the comfort of your home. Maple is a wonderful alternative to waiting in an emergency room for minor ailments.

Great service but needs an option to request advice or additional resources before a session is terminated as well as the ability to ask questions about a prescription or treatment should one need information after a consultation.

Very convenient. Saved me a trip to a walk in clinic when I didn t feel well. Still a very thorough appointment and my prescription was faxed right to my pharmacy. A great service.

I was able to work while I waited for a notification to talk to a doctor, I got my prereq right away within a short chat with the dr, and was in and out of life labs the next day. Super convenient and you don t have to wait at a doctors office with other people who are sick!

My experience with Maple yesterday was top notch. Ive tried using this app a couple times and have been told I need to see a doctor in person, but yesterday I didn t, and I got a prescription sent directly to the pharmacy I use. It was sooooo convenient.

I did not give a five star only because with my first try, my request was abruptly cancelled with a message that the doctor didn t understand my simple and straightforward issue and did not ask for any clarification, just felt like I was being totally dismissed. On the other hand, on my second try, it was awesome!! I loved not having to sit amongst ailing people in a waiting room, especially at this concerning time. Getting to choose your pharmacy was also a big bonus. Will use this service again whenever possible.

I had to use this for an online family doctor consult and it was really great.

Fantastic! So good it was almost unreal. Dr Sabean was online with my prescription within minutes! Took so much stress away! Now if only the pharmacies would be able to fulfill it at this time..lbut, I understand they are certainly doing their best. Thank you Dr Sabean...you saved me!!! Highly recomend this app!

This is great. I'm 65, and it couldn't be easier to use. From my home I connect with one of Maple's doctors , Dr. Chen, he was caring and through. He gave me all the time I needed even the my learning curve to this system .
Dr. Chen diagnosed me , and gave me instruction on what to do. This was all done by texting. There are other ways of connecting if texting is not for you. I will definitely call Maple the next time I need a doctor, no waiting same day no waiting room.

I wasn t feeling very well and had a runny nose when I signed up with the Maple Team in late March after the COVID-19 pandemic. After chatting online with the doctor, I have taken her advice to continue to self-isolate and stay at home. I felt relieved that I was doing the right thing and didn t have to worry about getting infected from others. I was also given a sick note too. Now I am really grateful that I can have a family doctor that I can go back to during this lockdown.

Canadian health care may be free but the quality is horrendous. I suffer from anxiety and I was in desperate need of help. I paid 200$ to go to a private clinic, and as expensive as it was, I got the help and medication I needed. However, when it was time for a new prescription , I was stuck. The walk in clinics in Montreal are terrible. They do not adhere to appointment times, and walking in, you ll wait almost the entire day.

With Maple, it cost me the price of a cell phone bill to talk to a doctor, explain my situation, and for him to send the prescription to the pharmacy. I am so happy I can now have easy access to my anxiety medication that I definitely need to have. Thank you Maple.

Great experience first time using the app. Hardly 0 wait times, quick easy and great service from the Healthcare Provider. Prescriptions were super easy to have sent to my pharmacy. I will definitely use again!

Earliest I could see my Doctor was October 5th 2020, to get a prescription filled. My time to get to the MD and back is worth more than the cost of the consultation. Called Maple, dealt with a very efficient Nurse Practitioner, who asked prescient questions, recommended a full in person medical. Got my prescription faxed to Pharmacy, got an e mailed invoice in the same stream. Painless, efficient, and left my actual doctor visit time slot for someone else . CF Alberta

This was such a fast way to see a Dr took me about 5 mins at the most discussed what was wrong with Dr and she asked me a few questions then gave me a prescription and now I m back in good health. Very good service and great Dr

I found this service to be very good. I logged on, created an account, downloaded the app, and was connected to a doctor in 10 mins. He asked for ID and a picture of my issue and made a diagnosis requiring a prescription that he faxed directly to my pharmacy of choice. My home doctor was booking into next week. The walk in clinics were booked for the day. The ER would have been a 4 to 9 hour wait. I attended this appointment with a licensed Canadian doctor without leaving my bedroom. Awesome!

My wait time for a short notice appointment was TWO MINUTES! I've never been attended to so quickly and my appointment was more thorough than any I've ever had in person. I felt like the doctor really listened to me and gave me meaningful, personalized advice quickly, along with a prescription for a medication that got mailed to me for free. Can't beat that. I'd pay $50 for a Maple visit any time instead of waiting a million years in a clinic or unnecessarily diverting resources in a hospital ER. 10/10.

Are the visits not covered by OHIP? How come other ones (like tia, cloudmd) are covered by OHIP but not Maple? I have to pay?

Dr. Justin Lau is a fantastic doctor. I have been fortunate to be matched with him a handful of times, and he always takes the time to explain and answer my questions/concerns.

It was fast and easy to use especially if you know what medical issue you are having and definitely beats trying to see your Dr. for a routine issue.

Absolutely Amazing!!! My doctors office was closed and I discovered this service. I video conferenced with a doctor very quickly and got my prescription sent directly to Shoppers Drug Mart in my area. Totally worth it!

I used this service at 6am for my daughter who was sick.
It was fast, easy to use and the doctor we had was extremely professional.
Everything took around 25mins from the time i logged on until the prescription was sent to the pharmacy. And the best part? I did everything from bed. I didn't have to bring my sick daughter out and wait in a clinic all day!
The customer service is very good as well.

Quick, simple, and hassle-free! During the COVID-19 pandemic, I was worried about renewing inhaler prescriptions and what to do about a cough I had before news about the virus started. Turns out I had bronchitis, and the antibiotics I was prescribed worked like a charm! Thanks, Maple & Dr. Ang!

I am very pleased with Maple. It only took me 3-5 minutes to be connected to a GP who was professional and helpful.

The app was easy to use and I was connected with a NP within fifteen minutes. But my problem was misdiagnosed, which aggravated my symptoms. And the NP recommended products by prescription that were available more cheaply over the counter. ( Because she did not tell me the brand name, I didn't recognize them.) When I gave the same information and pictures by phone to my GP, she instantly made a correct diagnosis. So overall the app is good, but the healthcare I received was not.

I love the convenience of booking an appointment and consulation thru this app and not having to physically wait in line all that time. amazing!

I used Maple on Friday night because I have having such pain in my saliva gland area. I was chatting with a doctor within ten minutes and he had me send a few pictures and also video chat. (Telehealth has yet to call me back and today is Monday). The doctor was very profession, gave me a prescription for an antibiotic and I'm on the road to recovery without needing to see my family doctor (during Covid). So Thankful. My daughter who goes to university in Kingston told me about this. She had strep throat and no family doctor down there. She couldn't get into a campus doctor either. It made her able to get a diagnosis and the medicine she needed right away.

This is a great service. 15 minutes and I was completely done. If you have a minor problem this is the service for you.

The ads on the subway are unnecessarily gross, a zoomed in picture of a pustulating lip and an eye infection?? I ve never left a review before but seeing the picture staring at me again this morning reminded me how unpleasant it is.

I also used your service in the past and it was awful. No wonder y all are resorting to such desperate advertising.

Booked an online assessment for covid 19 testing. Great response timing and was scheduled in a decent quick time as well. Nurse was friendly and had great positive attitude, which made the visit a lot less stressful and more comfortable. Thank you to the whole health care team

Consulting by a chat, doctor doesn't ask if you have any question and doesn't way to finish the appointment. I'd not spend my money at it again.

Had trouble finding a walk in clinic that would see me for my asthmatic symptoms during the covid-19 crisis. After three days of searching for someone and trying to find an appointment I was recommended this app. 45 minutes after signing up I had already connected to a great doctor and my inhaler was faxed to my usual pharmacy. $50.00 saved me the stress of finding a doctor and sitting in a waiting room for an hour.

Went for a PCR Test for travel purpose. Cheapest test $159 & fastest turn around i found on the market (results in less than 24hrs). Friendly and efficient staff. I saw a team consisting of a Black and Asian lady, they were swesome!!!!

I was an hr late and they still took me I was shocked. My gps took me to Mississauga instead of York location. Appt was quick and oncall Dr was cool.

Overall great staffing team made the not so plesant covid testing a happy experience. I will only use this location for future tests...

Used the app and couldn't of been happier. Probably saved me over 2-3 hours of personal time, yet alone the headache. To me $50 is a small price for that. I would absolutely recommend the service to anyone.

This is a great way to get a routine problem dealt with when all the local clinics are closed. They asked all the questions any responsible doctor would ask and I was on my way to the pharmacy with the right prescription in 30 minutes, whereas if I'd gone to the ER, I probably would have been there all night.

This service was very helpful to get an appointment for COVID-19 testing for my son. We spent only 15 minutes on the testing centre. Only wish the waiting time for scheduling appointment would be less. It took the whole day for us to book an appointment for the next day on Saturday.
Anyway thank you for the help and for your work. I prefer to wait for the call to book an appointment at home than to spend 5-7 hours in the line to get tested.

Good idea and doctor, but app is constantly buggy and crashing. So, fix it and it's a useful tool.

It felt like the doctor did not know what to diagnose, and tried to push a prescription on me just to end the session.
She ended the session abruptly before I was done asking her questions about my symptoms.
Overall the experience felt very unprofessional.
