great option to have when needing reoccurring dr. assistance.

I was very very impressed with the care and consultation I received from the physician. He was polite, professional and able to fulfill my request. I ran into significant trouble with fulfilling my prescription. I selected where to send it to and they have (a week later) not received it. I cannot re submit it. They will not accept a screen shot (understandably) so there is no way to make this right so I can get my prescription filled. High hopes but disappointed

This was such a seemless and quick process. I was able to consult, via video conference, with Dr. Akhavan. He was personable, patient and asked me many questions before he offered a prognosis. The script was quickly sent and processed. Thank you to Maple and Dr. Akhavan.

Quickly connected to a doctor. Very friendly and asked relevant questions in order to diagnose my son's condition. Very highly recommended!

The experience was very good. The consult doctor guided well for the test process and we got the appointment as per our requirement. We were treated well at the appointment time and the whole process was smooth and was able to get the results on time as per direction.

Spoke with a doctor within minutes of connecting and received a diagnosis and prescription. Will definitely use this app again for common ailments that require an antibiotic. Waiting at our local ER is frustrating as it takes 6-8 hours and our walk-in clinics are appointment only and closed half of the time due to lack of available physicians.

Son had severe sore throat and headache 9 days ago. First went to get tested for Covid as per public health guidelines. Covid test negative. Signed up for Maple, paid $50. Diagnosis = cold. 5 days later still severe sore throat, bleeding uvula, swollen tonsils, pus pocket at back of throat. Went to walk-in clinic. Sent away due to Covid symptoms. Back on Maple. Described symptoms. Reply from Maple = cannot see you with those symptoms - no further f/u, no explanation, no nothing. He can t see a doctor in person, he can t see a doctor online. I m thinking these are not symptoms that should scare a doctor away... ??? And they are not symptoms to go to a hospital for. Kinda stuck here... :(

Why didn't this exist sooner? No driving to a doctors appointment, checking in, waiting and waiting. I just needed a prescription refill so it wasn't too complicated for the doctor. It's the future and I like it.

App itself is pretty good fast response and I was able to avoid going to a clinic. As far as the doctor... I have no coverage and needed a nasal spray for my allergic sinusitis and the doctor prescribed a $100+ spray. Dont know that I would use this app again but it depends on the situation.

Got quick and professional advice from a Doctor. Was provided with a prescription on the very same day. Great service!

Have only needed to use it once in the 7 months my company is paying for it, but the doctor we connected with (under 3 minutes, so less time than going to a walk in clinic) was courteous and gave us the reassurance we were looking for to do what we were going to do already.

Fast, efficient and thorough way to get a long standing prescription refilled. My family doctor retired in 2019 and I am on a waiting list to get a new doctor in Guelph. Previously, I have gone to a walk-in clinic to get this prescription refilled, which was time wasting and dehumanizing.
The interaction with the physician at Maple was effective and he was very polite and personal. The whole event took less than 30 minutes, and was accomplished by e-chat.

My husband is a retired city worker and was a little apprehensive of this service but after he got help from the customer service person how to access the doctor with the computer he was impressed with the way it turned out.He used his computer to talk to Nurse Practioner about his issue and she gave a possible prognosis and emailed some forms to get blood work and another test.This saved him driving to emerg and waiting 5 hours for same end.Will definitely use this myself and I know my husband will again he hates lineups.

This service is great! I live in an area that doesnt have a lot of doctors so Maple is a great option. Second, there are topics that I find are hard to talk about in person and having the option to chat with a doctor was much more comfortable. The doctor was great and I in no way felt like I was talking to a machine.

Signed up. I was informed the wait time would be 20min. I waited 40min, and nothing. I read the self help section that said to refresh the screen; did that, then it displayed 40min wait time! That was another 40min on top of the 40min I've already waited. 1.5hrs later, and nothing! Disconnected. Won't be using again. Great concept, poor execution. Don't bother.

Awesome service! I love that it is so practical and everything can be done virtually. The doctor showed compassion, pancience, and listened to my concerns. He prescribed a medication and provided an exam requisition. As soon as my exam results were ready, they sent me an message and I could easily access the results. They even offered to mail my prescription to me directly or to send it to my Pharmacy which they did in 15 min! If you want good, fast, efficient service, go with Maple.

I had tried to schedule a consultation with CoverHealth a few hours before trying Get Maple. I contacted CoverHealth at 5pm and they scheduled an appointment at 7pm only to cancel it at 6h55pm saying they were full and that I could go to an ER if needed! I was desperate and in pain so decided to try Get Maple which saw me in less than 5 min!

Maple charges a small fee, but totally worth it! I prefer to pay a little bit and get seen by a doctor then to stay in pain or find myself in the ER for hours or at a line in a random Walk-In Clinic. They use doctors from all over Canada, not only Ontario, which is great and that is why they can see you in under 5 min I believe. Oh, and you can also get reimbursement of the fees through your Health Insurance.

Within an hour of downloading the app, I had consulted a doctor, had been diagnoses and my prescriptions were sent to the closest pharmacy. And 4 days later, I am feeling great! This is a great service, especially during a pandemic!

I am very happy I was able to see the doctor from the comfort and safety of my own home. It was affordable for being after hours. Next step would be virtual.

I was quickly connected with a doctor who helped send a prescription to my pharmacy of choice to address my issue. App was easy to use and understand. Would highly recommend if visiting a walk-in or your doctor is not the best choice or possible. The cost of the services are not covered by OHIP and may not be the most affordable for many if paying out of pocket. I was able to use Maple free of charge under the Shoppers Drug Mart collaboration for this review. Hope telemedicine services are soon to be covered by OHIP because this service would be great to have accessible all the time!

I will be honest with you. I did not believe a word of this site. But I thought what do I have to loose, I signed up gave my health care number an within ten minutes I got a six month prescription. Normally I have to do the walk in, and wait all day here it's ten minutes done an faxed still in my jammies. I told my wife and others it's great an no waiting for an appointment to see the doc.

I absolutely love this idea of having Dr's so handy to get help from. I have spoken to two so far and they have been very nice and very helpful. I also wish this could keep going as it's easier for some that couldn't get to a Dr easily...

Very helpful to be able to do simple consultation for prescription renewals. Waits have been around 45 minutes, but they notify you when the doctor is ready so it's better than waiting around a clinic or office, especially with the pandemic. Doctors are friendly and competent. Free MSP doctor consultations are available on weekdays during standard hours.

Maple can place prescription orders at your selected pharmacy. It would be nice to have a callback from pharmacies when prescriptions are filled but it does not seem like this is currently available.

Great experience! Had my prescription within 15 minutes and it was faxed to the pharmacy. Went there 3 days later and they said they didn't receive anything and never heard of getting a prescription online before. I emailed Maple support, got a response within 5 minutes, send them the address of a different pharmacy to fax my prescription to. Picked it up an hour later. Amazing

Initially I thought things went perfectly ... but it is now Friday and I still don t have the correct medication - I called Monday night. Unfortunately the doctor prescribed the wrong medication despite the correct medication being mentioned several times in our conversation. I required an enteric coated version , otherwise the medication was essentially equivalent to over the counter version .
The pharmacy was painful to deal with - taking down the wrong insurance info, unable to give correct email address s for e transfer , unsure of account number for online banking. After all that the incorrect medication came the next day . Maple was quickly able to fix this error , however again the pharmacy was an issue not receiving it until about 8 hours later. Once they did I had to pay again for the new medication as it wasn t their mistake. Live and learn I guess. Hopefully I will receive the medication today. If I use this service again I will not use their partner pharmacy.

I had my first consultation with Dr Ginsberg.. he took time to listen to my concerns he analyzed my medical exams very efficiently and explained them in a concise and easy to understand manner.. he asked answered any questions I had about the exams in a professional manner and I felt very well taken care of as a patient..for myself it's quite hard to find a doctor that actually cares and actually is willing to provide assistance to a patient and I would think this would be the most basic thing that we should be able to find from a doctor within our community however our Canadian medical system is lacking great doctors that actually care to do good for their patients however this is just based on my experience so it was wonderful to see this doctor and utilize this application because this is how doctors should be.. Dr Ginsberg is a wonderful representation of how a medical professional should practice..wonderful job and also I want to give credit to the application which was efficient easy to understand and the individuals in the chat were more than efficient and helpful in answering any of my concerns prior to my consultation.

This was the most seamless doctors appointment I have ever been too. It seemed to easy to be true , however I ended up with a pretty severe tooth infection and the pain was unbearable . From registerring for maple to perscription pick up it was 2 hours max . The longest part was simply driving to an open drug store . This is the best i introduced service that has ever been created . No-one wants to sit in an ER department to wait hours for someone to see you when you clearly just need an antibiotic . This service will definitley clear out the jammed ER rooms and make it easier and quicker for the people who need to be there . Thank you so much !!!!

Maple was a great option to not having a family Dr currently. They were prompt and friendly and my prescription was sent to the pharmacy in a flash. Glad to have this option on PEI. Very happy with the service.

Was an efficient, user friendly app. Our (appointment was for my son) appointment was quick, Doctor was professional, friendly and helpful, we received our Rx from our chosen pharmacy same day. I would highly recommend Maple to anyone. This service should definitely be supported and funded by provincial health systems. Excellent.

I was shocked at how simple this process was. In about 10 mins from going to the website, I was connected to a real doctor and had a new prescription sent to my local pharmacy. The texting between me and my doctor was a bit glitchy a few times, but other than that it was very efficient. Highly recommend!!

The service was fast and efficient. Because of the high volume of calls, I had to wait but only for 10 minutes. The consult only lasted 10 minutes. I did not have to leave the house and I did not have a long wait in a crowded doctor's office.

The prescriptions were Faxed directly to my local pharmacy where I collected them a couple of hours later.

Dr. Were accommodating and only less than 5 min waiting very satisfied with the service

I needed a prescription refill and, due to the high case load in Alberta, wanted to avoid going to my doctor's office for so routine an issue. Within 30 minutes of downloading Maple I had been connected with a physician, received a prescription, and had that prescription sent to my local pharmacy where I was able to pick it up the next day. It could not have been more convenient. I'll be getting my refills this way from now on.

First time using this medical service and I was super impressed! I waited 20 minutes and was connected with a lovely doctor who was quite knowledgeable and helpful. A prescription was sent to the pharmacy of my choice. The whole process was very user friendly and easy to navigate. Highly recommend!

Terrible, I do not recommend at all. Constantly changing "policy" to shorten the length of time you can get a prescription which forces you to pay the consult fee more often. Originally had a 3 month prescription with a refill, now they can only do 3 months. It's just a money grab, I highly recommend sucking it up and going to a Walk-In.

Great experience using Maple! I m working in a remote community in BC and unable to find a local doctor here. Using Maple was easy and I was connected to the a great physician in less than 10 minutes. The doctor was helpful and able to give me a prescription that was sent to my preferred pharmacy within minutes. So efficient and so easy!

If you want a doctor's note you can only get 1 week for your illness and no more, so if you're going to be off for a while go see your doctor, it's cheaper in the long run. Not really sure what they can prescribe but if you need heavy painkillers I'm sure that it's not gonna happen.
