Worth the view and the service. I always stay here when I'm up at the coast

Rooms are very clean and tidy and its in a tops spot for surface. Close enough to the center you can walk and far enough away the noise isn't cranking all through the night.

Pool was great and heated. Clean rooms with no damage

Hotel us neat, room is good size, bathroom is superb for Asians like me. The location is perfect for food, shopping, souvenirs, and close to theme parks. Buffet breakfast is good & standard. Will surely be back here :)

Poor, due to the function room next to us was incorrectly booked out to a very loud group and at times I could not concentrate on what our speaker in our function was saying!! It was not the group's fault. This was unreliable management of Mantra. Concerning. I would not recommend on.

The layout of the room is neat and comfortable, making people feel that the space is getting bigger. The designer uses it well in space utilization and has an aesthetic sense. It is really great! Plus, go out and go left in the hall, there are convenience stores in a few steps, it is convenient.

We had the king bed high rise ocean view and it was breathtaking. The room was very modern, elegant, and clean. The location was perfect with the shopping centre and many restaurants nearby. Will be coming back soon!

I didnt make a booking and walked in. They did everything in there power to get me in a room within 20 minutes. Well done

Room had NO Hot Water and could not take a shower. Room 915!!! When reported to reception I received a 'oh, I'm sorry', then proceeded with the standard charge and paid for parking. Pathetic response from staff.

It was a great hotel 20 years ago. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable but it's very old. No mini bar, no toothpaste, toothbrush. You pay for a 4.5 star but the service is like a motel.

wifi didnt work , buffet very average and room service delivered our hot choccies next to cold although they did replace them at their own advice otherwise

Mantra on view was very good Value for money and in an excellent location to Suffers Paradise if that s your thing.

It takes about 3 to 5 minutes on foot from Surfers Paradise.
The surrounding area is quiet, sanitary, and friendly.
Arcade is currently under contract or under construction,

Clean, friendly and functional. Room had a wonderful view and comfortable beds. Bathroom was also clean and had good water presure.

Bad service. Would not recommend staying here to anyone.

Rooms and staff are lovely, area is always immaculate even in high traffic conditions such as events. Some issues with elevators under high stress but staff have always been helpful and on top of things.

Wonderful place to stay when visiting the Gold Coast. Beautiful view on the 19th floor and friendly staff. Secure parking and excellent Wi-Fi access!

Wonderful staff, nice clean spacious room with a wonderful view. Walking distance to Caville Ave and trams right outside. My son loved the pool area.

Cleaning staff were highly unfriendly. Wouldn t stay there again. However, rooms were nice and lovely view. Great location, easy walk to the beach.

Excellent hotel to stay at, walking distance to anything. Now that the tram is running you can hop on it and it can take you virtually anywhere.

A real disappointment. I remember staying here when it was ANA hotel and a luxurious 5 star hotel. It s now run down except for the lobby which seems out of place after you get to your room. The buffet breakfast was also disappointing and especially when a wait staff (tall lass working on 16/8 breakfast) kept bending over to wipe tables you you kept seeing a few inches of hot pink lace underwear. Something you don t want to see whilst eating breakfast. Filtered coffee served in thermoses, at least mantra Southbank had Cael service coffee machine. No 5 gig wifi as promised in my welcome email, no mini bar like the mantra at Southbank in brisbane where I had just stayed. The noise of the fan in the bathroom kept me awake all night. The mini bar fridge freezer was all iced up and could not fit anything in there. They need to defrost them. The rooms are very run down and the beds feel like they are 20years old. I did not sleep well and ended up going to chiropractor. The compendium needs to be updated as it has the old Restaurant name in it and information was out of date. The best idea is to knock it down and rebuild a beautiful new hotel. They now have a cheap mini mart on the corner and really degrades the hotel but actually shows the rest of the standards after you reach your room. Never again.

Requested bathtub during booking and given a room without bath tub. There are 3 rooms without bath tub in this hotel. Have to reclarify with the receptionist
Unacceptable service during breakfast, guests were stopped without greeting to ensure they are paid before get in (even we've booked and paid through online). Food are taken away before asking. Tooth brush and paste charged at 2.50 each even we booked for a 5 days. Room Slipper are charged. First 4 star hotel without complimentary bottled water. Didn't change the bedsheet or vacuum alternate days. One little soap wonder for shower or for hand wash for 4 days. Disappointed stay at mantra on view. Wifii on at lobby. However room bar fridge is functioning well. Air con is ok. Toilet and laundry are clean. Bed are ok and clean. Good sea view and optimum location to walk to surfers paradise @ Cavill Avenue.

Quite good, lovely view and landscaping. Very popular hotel subject to crowding and queues.

The view from the room was faint enough to see the sea.

The restaurant and bar on the second floor are very good and you can drink wine for $ 5 at Happia Hour from around 16:00.

Occasionally there was a clerk who spoke Japanese, and I was able to have a fun conversation.

Depending on the day of the week, the Gold Coast Flea Market can be seen nearby.

They do not vacuum but once a week they do not clean the room thoroughly every day they hit and miss staff is nice

Great hotel right beside the Surfers Paradise entertainment area. Rooms are large. Top floor ocean views are spectacular. Good breakfast buffet at the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. On site spa. WiFi is not included, but just join the Mantra+ loyalty program for free WiFi and other perks. Pool area needs some maintenance and regular cleaning of palm tree leaves. And pool floor missing quite a few tiles.

Nice hotel right on the beach. Very close to the main attractions of Surfers.

Absolutely stunning Hotel has pools saunas steam rooms heated pools non heated pools tennis courts barbecue areas all you can eat buffets it's a one stop shop for everything you need on your holiday while on the gold coast big rooms friendly staff. Clean rooms and room service was great. You get free cable in the rooms with movies and pay tv. Would recommend if you want to live in luxury for a few days.

Decent sized rooms and location. Rooms were overall pretty good, though parts of it werre a bit dated or could do with some extra maintenance.

The main foyer was very nice, and the breakfast buffet was excellent for the price.

The pool though, while good size, and even had a seperate kids pool, was way too cold(no heating i assume). Only 1 of the 3 pools were slightly less cold. As seasons change, a bit of heating would not go astray.

Great location. Nice lobby. My room was nice enough though a little worn.

The location is great and the view as well, hotel is old with a lot if things need renew specially the pillows and blankets, I spent 5 nights at the hotel and I had to buy my own pillows to sleep and on top of that you have to pay for the wifi at room, not recommended.

We found we could hear every word of anyone in our corridor
There is a glass panel between the toilet and main room,when you switch on the bathroom light,the light shines through that panel and those sleeping get all the light in there face
Couldn't adjust the temperature gauge despite reading the instructions but that's a minor issue
A bit of paint coming off the toilet door
The inside wardrobe spelt of Body Odour

Amazing food amazing service at a reasonable price. Can absolutely recommended!

The hotel is very good.
Just that you have to pay 200dollars as a deposit that you don't get back when you leave.
It's been a week and I'm still waiting for the refund.
I find that really illogical, especially when you only spend one night there and it stalls your. Holiday budget.
