Car park lift was broken, check in took 45 minutes due to poorly trained staff (made numerous mistakes and had to continually wait for manager to show him how to do things), room was double booked on the first night, cooked breakfast items were cold, very poor quality toilet paper in bathrooms, and website promises "panoramic views of the city, ocean or canals" when none of the rooms actually face the ocean (meaning that, by definition, it can not have panoramic views of the ocean).

I went for drinks and Mantra is beautiful, staff are really nice and not to expensive.

No bottle water supplied. Have to buy my own water at supermarket.

I won't stay here again. Building is old and the rooms are not maintained. Huge stain on the carpet. Blood on the blanket and light fixtures. Cupboard broken. I bet the owners are sucking every last cent out of this place before it one day gets refurbished. Oh, and we got locked out of the hotel in their car park and took 20 minutes to get to our room.

Very close to the beach, the hotel has complete facilities, a rich breakfast, and a standard hotel.

Beautiful views from the balcony, spacious room with 2 queen size comfortable beds. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was clean and the shower was hot. Stayed for 7 nights and will definitely stay at the hotel next time i visit the Gold coast.

Always great to stay here. Close enough to the action but far enough away to be quiet. Shout out to Jacob and staff who always does an incredible job in accommodating everyone and making sure everything goes smoothly

Highly disappointing..... the HOT SPA is very cold, they wouldn t put the heat up. There were no towels after we got into the cold spa. Trying to sleep we got woken up by everyone walking past the room.

Busy hotel. Reception packed with no staff available to assist. Rooms needs a refresh as they are run down.

You can walk from the beach and there are supermarkets nearby.

It was okay
But parking was not connected to hotel so i needed to walk throw the outside.
And they took deposit 200$, and it tooks too long to back to me.
I am still waiting for that, almost 3weeks

Nice hotel for people with limited budget. Location is pretty good and there are many restaurants, shops and nice beach within walking distance. Room is clean and well serviced but lift to car park needs some maintaining and cleaning.

Great location awsome beach view... was a neat clean and tidy room.. the front desk staff were very welcoming friendly and helpful... I highly recommend the buffet breakfast in the restaurant before checking out

Service was good. Rooms were nothing to wrote home about.

Great location with reasonable price. Walking distance to Surfer Paradise beach and all the food and shopping places. Room is spacious and clean except bathroom floor is not very clean, a bit sticky. No free wifi in the room, only at the lobby. Concierge boy broke one of our luggage but the front desk manager, Nadia was very helpful and kind to get compensation from the hotel to us. Overall we enjoyed the stay.

Rooms were clean. Adequate service. Meals were good. Outlook not good as we were looking over the theme park.

Great location. Very good rooms and facilities only let down by check in delay. Standing for too long in a queue is not fun after a days travel. One of two staff was for priority and checking in large group so i understand the delay but feel domeone should have called in another person to help the one dealing with the rest of the guests waiting.

Beautiful! Nice relaxing place hint for the menu order kids meals ! So much cheaper and about the same size if not bigger then a adult meal ! :)

Stayed here a few times. Not bad for what I paid. Also good location to get out of gc city quickly without hitting traffic.

We loved our stay in Mantra. The staffs were very welcoming and the room was perfect. The location is excellent as it is close to everything. Staffs couldn t be more helpful or polite. We asked them to charge our phone several times as we had forgotten our charger and they readily did it for us. On top of that, we were allowed to keep our luggage safely in a separate room as we had checked out on 10am but had plans of seeing around Gold Coast until later evening. Thank you Mantra for such a pleasant experience. Will definitely come back !

Such a great experience, we felt so welcome here. Wonderful facilities, pool, bar, restaurant. This is the place to stay in Surfers Paradise

Hotel's alright. The asian fusion restaurant however is shocking. Every cracker on the Cheese board was stale. The ribs were pretty good though. The shiraz was great but the cocktail we ordered made by a trainee was undrinkable. So mixed review some pros some cons.

The hotel was fantastic. But the lift to the carpark was terrible

Stayed here previously and enjoyed it - but this time our room wasn't the best... they are currently painting the building and have upgraded the pool.. maybe some room upgrades could help!

I've stayed here several times and it is always good value for money and super convenient to everything in Surfers.

Room was clean, beds were comfy (pillows only ok though). View was great. No pool or tennis court as they are currently being refurbished, however price was reduced accordingly. Overall very happy, but one star off because of the lengthy check-in delay (took about 45 minutes).

Strategically located on Surfers Paradise right next to the beautiful beaches. A home away from home.

Nice resort but showing wear and tear. Some paint wouldn't go a miss.

The room is slightly smaller, but the furniture is complete. It is really unfortunate that the TV remote control is difficult to use and the TV cannot read my USB flash drive. Hotel WiFi signal is general, often disconnected from the network. The bed was very comfortable and it was a bit too soft for me.

Staff are still kind, buffet breakfast delish, and they make great lattes.

Amazing location in surfers.. We stayed for a weekend away. The room was really clean and I had requested something nice for my partner as a surprise for our current engagement. They had champagne brought to the room and a swan Heart on the bed. It's the little things that hotel services can do. I was delighted. My only negative would be the pool area is in maintaince..It would have been nice to have a lovely area to go down to poolside. Hopefully when the renos are finished it will be great! Thank you mantra we had a great stay!!

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at this hotel. This place holds a special place in our hearts as this places where pur lifes new chapter started.

Great hotel in the middle of Surfers Paradise. The hotel is clean and tidy, the room I had was very clean and comfortable. The adjacent carpark is Public but was badly lit and I would consider dangerous at the wrong time of night

Although it is a little older it is amazing,clean rooms, comfy beds, staff are very friendly it is very well situated on the coast

Visited Nosh Asian for breakfast. Average quality buffet.

Everything really good except they don t have heater in the room also aircon only for cooling not for heat and im really cold....I m not even turn on aircon all time I m stay here
At least they should have aircon that can be heating and cooling...

1. Located in Surfers Paradise, there are many shops and abundant resources.
2. The room is comfortable and luxurious, and the mattress is comfortable.
3. The breakfast room is diversified and milk is recommended.
4. The sunrise is beautiful, only 10 minutes away from the coastline.
5. Night service is available in the evening (charges apply).

Stayed here 3 nights for my birthday present.
The room was clean and secure, friendly staff, the view from the balcony was beautiful , I really enjoyed the view.
Great location just minutes walk to the beach, minimart, bottle shop,chemist, Irish pub and centre.
The breakfast a little bit boring but not a big problem.
I would like to go back and stay here again.

Stayed here in November last year for my first time in QLD. Absolute lovely place. They were kind enough to get our room ready early as we flew in early! Would highly recommend. Lovely spot, close to the beach, lovely water view. Would like to stay again when i come back up.

Room was dusty and not vacuumed properly. Beds are average. Was hoping for abit more for the price i paid. Staff were friendly.

The location, room view, meals and service are very good, staying in 3 days is very comfortable to sleep, I am a little disappointed that the room is not clean enough

It's on a prime location. Easy access to all the activities in surfers Paradise and walking distance to the tram line. The functions room was great with amazing service.

There was poo on our unused towel :-(

It is a great location and the hotel provided us with excellent service. But the thing that through me off was the car park situation. The car park is located next door and it is also a public car park too. But the lift that takes you to the hotel doesn t quite work that well. I would come back again, if they can fix this car park situation.

Staff were helpful and friendly..didn't like climbing into a bath for a shower!!!
