Took our booking and our money and once the border into Qld cancelled without cause or explanation.
Have vacancies but tripled the tariff.
Too bad for them, borders closed again.
Don t do business with them, they are dishonest.

Great view from the 40th floor over cavel Avenue, which is the main party street on Surfers. Spar was great.

Kinda meh bath tub didn't work has to use a friend's while I staye df there and the staff did nothing

Attended a large XMAS function. Catering and service was terrible.

Nice and clean rooms. Amazing views and close to plenty of nice restaurants and bars. Just 5mins walk to the beach. Loved our stay here.

The room is spacious and clean, the staff is friendly and the accommodation is very satisfying, next to the Gold Coast, three minutes walk to the beach

Comfortable bed, great buffet breakfast, nice staff and in a good location just metres from the beach.

Friendly service and clean room. Parking is a bit of a screw around. 2 elevators to get to our room. 1 from carpark to lobby. 2nd from Lobby to room floor.

Keep ahold of your entry ticket if you are staying, you need to scan it upon exit and aswell as your hotel parking vouchers. $8 per night if you are staying which is an excellent price consider it is in the middle of gold coast.

Room was a little dated but overall it was fine. View from the 21st floor balcony was excellent.
We loved the swimming facilities. Two large pools (one heated) and a kids paddling pool was great for our family and we swam twice daily. There is also a spa.
Heaps of touristy stuff to do nearby, as well as the pleasant beach.
No trouble with parking. The buffet breakfast always satisfied. Beds were nice and comfortable, better than I have at home.
We look forward to returning in the coming years.

Great location and the bed was very comfy. Only downside was the view as it was just of the city and not the beach.

Close to the waves, modern rooms, stunning views of you are up on the higher floors. Friendly staff, good local knowledge, and the in house restaurant isn't actually terrible like a lot of others.

The view was great. The reception staff are friendly and willing to respond even if you are busy. I couldn't check in early, just left my bag and had lunch. I asked you to go upstairs and change it. Breakfast was also 50% discount in January 20, so I had a good time. The facilities were a bit backward but without any inconvenience. I recommend it for the price.

Fantastic hotel. We have stayed twice now (including last week during the covid pandemic) and will be back for sure. Clean units, the location is perfect and staff are super friendly. Did I mention how good the views are!

Our first red flag was waiting half an hour in line to check in when there were only 4 other people in front. Out of the 3 people on reception 2 were constantly answering the phone so that was frustrating. Once I checked in I was told there was no dinner or breakfast as the restaurant was closed. If I had of known that we wouldn't have booked as that was one of the main reasons why we booked there. Once we got up to our room one of the cupboard doors wouldn't close properly and same with a draw causing my daughter to fall and hurt herself on them. We went to sit out on the balcony to eat our take away food and all we could smell was cigarette smoke coming from the apartment below and beside us and the foul language from one of the men staying in the room. Considering the website says the hotel is 100% smoking free I thought this was disgusting and inconsiderate. It took my husband and I til 1am to fall asleep as all we could hear was yelling from the drunks and smell of cigarettes even though our balcony door was closed. DO NOT STAY HERE if you want to have a nice peaceful family time away.

Similarly, the shop is 4 stars in the area, accommodation and facilities have reached the required level, and the catering has a standard. In my opinion, the food type is slightly less, and it is better to improve slightly.

Moderately located, on the lively Gold Coast seaside, crowded with crowds, shops are everywhere, everything is there

Had a great time at this hotel! 10 minutes to the beach, lifts can be a bit of a wait on peak times but no where near as bad as other hotels in this location. Parking is great, just drive up a ramp and you're in, unlike the mazes you get at other places. Stayed on the 7th floor which is really too noisy for long stays - too much air conditioner noise and of course the morning cleaners, but great for short stays.

We stayed at the mantra with Airbnb for about a week before we had issues with the host. Ended up cancelling the booking and spoke to the absolutely wonderful hotel staff about changing our booking to one of their official rooms. Don't have a bad word to say, they were so nice and organised a room for a day later. I'd definitely reccommend going here. Location is great, staff are great and the rooms are pretty good. I cant even give you a star even though id love to ,but when I was quoted $118per night for a couple for two nights including breakfast I trusted you with my debit card details and you charged me $476 from my bank account. I didnt know this until I had a trolley full of food and went to use my debit card but it had insufficient funds. I was so embarrassed and I got a bank statement and saw the overcharges from your motel. I have tried to call you, I have emailed with no response. my partner and I needed to clear our heads as after months of remission my bowel cancer has returned, we are also getting over a traumatic experience when our flatmate passed away whilst we were giving cpr and I thought I could trust a reputable company like yours, but im left very upset and disgusted that I was conned by such a big company when im on a dsp so is my partner we only live at nerang and could have taken a trip interstate by plane return for same price. im asking that you return money you stole from my bank account please or legal action will be taken and media attention will occurr. thanx susan robinson

This place was fantastic i saw the outside and was like woah I defs need to stay here and boyyyyyy did it deliver. From the moment I stepped foot into the extravagant and well planned reception to the second my head touched the heavenly soft pillow, my stay was pure bellisimo. That should be enough to convince you to give this palace disguised as a 5 star hotel a try

One of the best hotels, shops are close by, pools , spa are fantastic. Beach is on the walking distance. No trouble with the car parking. amazing places around the hotel. Great room service.

The queue for check in on Saturday was over 20metres long and took well over an hour to check in.!
Our room was very tired and as there was no pool not even the spas were working and the boom gates for the parking were also malfunctioning and causing a queue.
I ve been to Mantras many time but will give this one a miss next time

Awesome location
Bit dated to be honest.i noticed the floor was not cleaned after somebody s had a big nite my other other problem and I get the landscaping needs to happen however the noise dirt and dust on my verandah is not acceptable to be frank to start a chainsaw at 7 am on a Saturday is so rude .enjoy your stay .ppls .

I was a guest at your hotel recently and thoroughly enjoyed my stay.The staff were friendly and courteous .The room was large and airy with an ocean view, very clean and tidy. The buffet breakfast was delicious and so much to choose from. I especially liked the masala tea which I have tried to copy but just can"t get it right. Any chance you will give me the recipe please.
I look forward to returning.

I have nothing nice to say about the experience of this place. The list of things is to big. But just some of the things, there is next to nothing on covid and there is no hand sanitizer anywhere to be seen.

Very friendly and professional gentlemen at the front desk, was very helpful that we decided and booked our next trip right there and then. He let us into the pool area which was really nice, good views from this centrally located hotel. Oh, the price was right also!
Update: checked in Dec/2017. I saw somewhere this rated as 4.5 star hotel. Nope, it's 4 stars at best however well worth the value. Staff very helpful. 5 nights, we were able to stay 2 nights north facing and then 3 nights south facing thanks to the staff arrangements.

Staff were friendly and professional.. The room was terrific and had a fantastic view from the balcony. Couldn't fault the housekeeping..The room was very clean and extra pillows and blankets were totally appreciated. Will definitely stay here again.

Very Clean, Poor reception service, breakfast was cold, room service was great.

Overall had an enjoyable time, 2 nights. I found our room clean, tidy and comfortable. Slight problem with the safe that was rectified immediately (replaced). Parking wasn't an issue for $8 a day. On check-in staff did forget to issue the 2 for 1 breakfast voucher for our booking, but again was easily rectified. Buffet breakfast was really nice. Information about pool towels on the inside of the wardrobes was incorrect - explanation was that a new system had been put into place - towels were available from change rooms. I will agree with some other reviews about the pool area. Some cracked tiles and grouting could be freshened up, but I think the 'pooling' of water on the paved area is a bit of a safety issue and should be addressed. There is a late check out option available - $40 to check out at 2pm - this is suitable for those with later flights. I liked the location which was very close to tram, bus, shops, pubs and beach. Jupiters Casino is only a direct bus away - the 705 @ $4.50 each way - for those that don't want to drink and drive. I would stay here again.
