Mantra On View (Previously Outrigger Surfers Paradise) Reviews

I checked in with my family into your hotel in Surfers Paradise yesterday afternoon .We were invited by a stench of urine as soon as we opened the room door.On inspection,it was very evident that the room had been poorly kempt. It was not too hard to see there was a nappy soaked in urine right behind the kettle! The aged carpet had urine stains in multiple places.I have got photographs of these but am technically unable to load the files on this portal. We have complained to the manager and left immediately unable to bear the nauseating experience.
In these difficult times, when the whole world is striving to implement meticulous hygiene measures to fight a global pandemic ,it is totally unacceptable that a city hotel which charges premium rates is callously exposing its clients to dangerous filthy conditions in its accomodation.

This hotel that has changed management companies and number of times in recent years it's still a great place. Plenty of space the staff were friendly and the event I attended was well organised.

Terrible hotel. Rooms do not have quern beds. Electric power sockets very poorly located. Bathroom are tiny. No view from the room. It was an office building converted into an apartment hotel. Terrible access for luggage.

The buffet breakfast was poorly done and awful, hardly any options do no recommend!!!!!!! But the pool area was nice

The location is okay, but the customer service is extremely poor as they take a long time to come to your room when you ask to fix their outdated tvs that are horrible. Scratches all over the furniture, it made me feel like I was in a asylum. The price was good but I'll never be coming back, terrible way to end my trip at Queensland.

Our room has a smell of Mould, the minibar cabinet could not be open as there had been a leakage, I had to force the fridge door to open it.
Went to reception told them what i was not happy about and they sent someone to spray the room.... Made no difference as woke next morning and the smell was strong with a headache...heading down again to complain and let's see what they say!!
Have left the sliding door open to air room

Staff were friendly and the room was in good condition. Parking was a bit odd. But for the price I can't fault it.

Nice spot, always has a killer view- ive gone a few times for mates birthdays and no matter what way you face the view is always incredible. Theres enouvh here to keep you entertained and to convince yourself its a holiday even though it is brisbane and well why would you holiday in brisbane...

Great apartment with amazing views of the city & ocean.. Full kitchen with complete utensils & seperate laundry with washer & dryer.. Very comfortable & convenient place to stay.. The best & most authentic Thai restaurant I've been to in a long time is part of the building, with amazing indoor heated pool & large spa,with his & her sauna & steam rooms..
The outdoor very large fully fenced beached pool & seperate kids pool with a pirate ship & slide, (kids of all aged were loving the ship & slide very much) the building is very close to all the shops, restaurants & beach..
My family & I will definitely be staying here again...

Fantastic location. Nice clean spacious room with a view to the beach. Decore very outdated and we had to pay parking for our 4 nights stayed. No Wifi. You have to go to the lobby to access free wifi. Not impressed.

Room clean and modern. Well kept. Hotel facilities obviously going through refurb. Tennis court not available and shabby. Pool great, but probably needs refurb too. Other than that. Staff are excellent and receptive. Parking easy and only $10/night for hotel guests. We had 20th floor so excellent view and right on the beach! So close to everything it s just worth walking. Trams run right past too. Highly recommend. Edit: stay just got better! We couldn t get into our room, nor could the cleaners. So free drinks at the bar! Got down graded because we couldn t get into our room, so they did shower us with small gifts and free things. Very impressed with management and how they handled the situation.

We stayed four nights in a room on the 22nd floor. Excellent view. We had two queen beds and good room service with regard to cleaning and food delivery. The room was spacious and had a good bathroom, lovely hot water. There was a TV (TV is giving way to online entertainment these days) and there is wifi but as it was only 200 meg per day we used our data (15 gig for the month) over all very happy. Best point was the happy smiley staff.

There is a small supermarket, pharmacy, wine sales, not far from the light rail and the beach. It is very convenient to walk to the supermarket and many restaurants within 10 minutes.

Great location within walking distance of most major activities and only a block from Surfers Paradise beach. Our room on the 13th floor gave us a view of the Slingshot and Vomatrom amusement which provided us with endless laughs as we enjoyed a wine on our balcony. The hotel is under going repainting and some minor room upgrades are needed. Car parking is available next door on the 3rd floor but unfortunately the lift wasn't working to gain access to the hotel.

Sensational view and a quick stroll to the heart of Sufers Paradise. Rooms are well equipped although a little tired.

Visited for guest parking, one of the best situated and cheapest overnight parking provider in Surfers if you're staying in the Moroccan!

Better than expected. Lobby looks nice. Staff very quick and responsive. Toilet looks nice. Furniture decent and the view was excellent. Parking is cheap just $8/day and right smack bang in the city centre. Trying to think of cons......hmmm....... ice was cheap $3/bucket. Mate I'll be back. Cheap as chips. The room isn't spectacular but it's not bad in any way. For what you pay it's bang for buck.

Mantra at Moroccan foyer really dirty and uninviting, lots of bins and plant holders rusted. Needs a paint and intense clean throughout.

Stayed here for a week and security didn t let me into my room every single night because I booked through air BnB. Security guard number 253 continued yelling at me even when he found out that he was wrong by not letting me in

It is close to the sea, but the downtown area is a little away.

It was good because I could see the sea and go shopping soon!

Mantra on view is in the perfect location for starters. Everyone was so friendly and nice and made the stay even better as it was done with a smile, which I love ! The rooms were quite nice and had everything you could as for and the views from the balcony were just beautiful ! Overall I loved my weekend stay and will definitely return back !

Nice hotel, really great location, large lobby. Amenities like gym, pool need updating. Would be way better once the renovations and painting is done.

Mantra was a great venue and host of a recent event I attended. I'm considering using them to host my own events in the future, and can recommend them to anyone looking for a professional venue to host your own event.

The Mantra was the best place I've stayed at for a very long time. It was very affordable, and the Buffet Breakfast was more than could be expected. The Spa and pool was exactly what was needed to relax and relieve those aches from a long day walking around all day. Well done to staff, they were fantastic and looked after their Guests like true professionals they are.

We stayed here for three nights and were very impressed with the facilities, service and overall quality of the hotel.

3rd time staying here and 3 times I've been very happy. Will stay again

I only rated it one star because there was no option for anything less. Not clean, mold growing on ceiling in bathroom, terrible service from staff - to the point where they ignored guests, broken springs in the bed, limited and expensive flavourless breakfast. Will never stay there again, waste of money and ruined an otherwise lovely holiday.

Views are beautiful. Close to shops, cafes, nice and close to the beach. Not as clean as would prefer. Bathroom was covered in someones hair . Used beauty capsules were on the bed. Had a fridge, kettle and safe that was very convenient. Buffet on second floor is good, staff are very friendly and helpful. Cant say same thing about front desk staff and cleaning personnel. The gym on 4 floor is pretty small and doesnt have much equipment. The furniture is a bit outdated but if was cleaner that wouldnt matter.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Outriggers! Awesome rocking up to a big lobby with Christmas Decorations which my son loved. Also the concierge was very friendly. My partner and I would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone who asks. Our room was on the 21st floor so the views were awesome! Its right next the Tram station so we caught the Tram to Southport and spent the day shopping then at night it was just a 2 minute walk to Caville Avenue (would have been only a minute but we had our 1 yr old in tow lol). We will definitely be staying here from now on as the location is perfect n the pricing was very reasonable. Can't wait for our next holiday! :) Thank you guys for making it an awesome experience.

The location is very good, in the lively street, there are a lot of restaurants around, just five minutes walk to the Gold Coast beach. Even if there are more than three restaurants near the vegetarian restaurant, it is highly recommended.

I haven't had any problems personally. The rooms are done up nicely, but the air con controls are still a bit fiddly even after s fee years. I also saw other guests sent to someone else's room on at least two occasions.
