Having Manor Homes building our dream house has been one of the best experiences we have ever had. They have walked us through each step of the process. Allowed us make changes to the house to accommodate for a wheelchair without adding a lot to the construction. They have kept us informed of each phase so we get to see how the house is coming along. I appreciate Ron, Shari and all the rest of the employees for making this all feel like we are part of this and part of a family.

We been checking out houses in Pacific Village, which is one of Manor Home's development in Vancouver, Wa. It is not a very big development. No common area, but they still charge 50.00 HOA (I guess that's how GREEDY developer n builder make money now a day.) Streets are not that wide only one side allow for parking and around the turn no parking on both side. They also use LVT flooring instead of laminated flooring or engineering flooring. If you don't know much about LVT flooring, you should research it. LVT flooring is very bad for environment n human health. There were studies in Sweden show that can hurt human health due to high amount of chemical that manufacture use to make this product, especially little kids. I understand builder trying to make more money by using lower cost of material, but if that jeopareize's customer's health than that's wrong n why would you want future law sue. There is also no french drain in the back yard. We noticed one of the property had quite of bit of water sitting on the back yard. They grow grass that absorb more moisture, but that's not good enough. The northwest has a lot of raining days, so it is important to have french drain on the yard. Also, their concrete work for their back patio n front seem to be done cheaply compare to other builders. I already noticed a small cracking on some back patios when walking through their houses.
It is hard to sell houses when your models are locked and unmanned during the advertised hours of operation.
Ok process. Could take a long time depending on what your looking at. Unprofessional follow through.
Buyer Beware! Home buying experience was ok at best. Russ needs to work on his personality and needs to realize he is selling a product and not be so uptight. The real nightmare begins when Manor has to honor its one year warranty. Had a independent home inspector complete a inspection of the home on 3/17/2018 for a one year walk through. Inspector found 3 major issues with the home. Attic, Crawl Space and Exterior Siding Boards of the new home. Took Manor over a year to fix the Attic and Crawl Space issues. Mark is Manors warranty guy and is a absolute nightmare to deal with.
He makes excuse after excuse why Manor will take forever to fix the issue or not at all. Today s date is 10/17/2019. The Exterior Siding is still not fixed. Over 1 1/2 years and he still beats around the bush. I am posting picks of inspection report issues and latest text from Mark. Please be aware of what s happening and I cannot nor would I recommend Manor for you. You have been warned!!

We bought our first house from Manor Homes and we will never buy another house from this builder again. Our house looks nice on the outside, but it's very cheaply made on the inside from the poor quality carpet, to the cracks in the walls where they meet the ceiling. Our utility/laundry room had pipes sticking out of the wall, but Manor Homes wouldn't install a sink there. The broker named Terry representing Manor Homes was so lazy. He went fishing all the time and gave our neighbor the keys to the vacant houses to let people in. I think the craziest thing our neighbor and we discovered about our lots are the blocks of cement, construction debris, wood, and metal pieces we've found beneath our yards. It's like nothing was cleaned up and the grass was just laid on top of the trash. Don't bother asking Tim, the construction supervisor to build or fix anything. He lies, won't call back, and does a poor job of building a patio cover. We've spoken to all our neighbors on our street and no one is happy with their home and no one will buy another house from Manor Homes.
While I am sure somewhere in this company a few people have integrity. I have yet to deal with them. This whole process has been a nightmare from dealing with the Selling agent to trying to get warranty work done. This was my first home, I am supposed to be excited and proud. While my house may seem to "look" pretty, it is falling apart!! Make up and paint can make anything look good but the inside and bones tell a different story. Only 6 months old. No warranty call back in an appropriate time. They blame everything on sub contractors. Maybe they forgot they did hire them and it is Manors name that looks bad.
Just purchased our first home with Manor 2 weeks ago. The process was simple and easy - the team Manor has working with them is friendly and easy to work with. Especially the Real Estate agent Russ Patterson. He was always there to answer any questions and always got back to us in a timely manner. We truly appreciate the team work that goes into "new construction and the process" Manor ROCKS!!!

Let s just say that if I had to do it all over again (which I will be in the near future), it will not be a manor built home. My neighbors and I all have issues with the quality of their work. I would describe their homes as polish poop. All around my house, the upper eaves has a building flaw. The soffit blocks\venting are inset behind the siding/trim board; creating a gap for entry and a perching area around the entire house for birds, which have caused damage to the vents around the entire house trying to gain entry off the building flaw. The blocks were not set flush like the lower eaves making it easy for these damn birds to build their nests. Many attempts of reaching out to manor reps about this flaw and not a single call or email back. Such professionalism! I d stay away from this builder.
It has been a little bit over a month since we moved in and during the entire process we received excellent care from Manor Homes specially from Shari. When we started the process our Agent was not helpful and we decided to let him go. We did the entire process on our own but Shari was always by our side working alone with our bank. Halfway throughout the process we decided for a bigger home and they still supported our decision. We feel blessed to find people that care at times when you have to take big decisions like having our dream home. Thank you to all the Manor Team!
We just bought a Manor home. LOVE IT!!!! Shari and Russ were fabulous!! They went out of their way for us. They really went the extra mile for a first time home buyer. We highly recommend the craftsman ship and the service.
Manor homes does not fulfill the warranty of it's homes! Manor promised to fix several items before my buyers moved in and never did. At the one year walk through more items were pomised and never done. The front door needed to be replaced and they brought the wrong colored door. When the owners said that they wanted the right color installed the workers left the wrong one in their entry way saying that they would come back and never did. The list goes on and on. Beware! Shoddy workmanship and poor service!
I just bought a new home from Manor Homes and couldn't be happier with the decision. Shari, Russ, and Mark were remarkably helpful, knowledgeable, and competent in every aspect of the process. I am very pleased with the builder workmanship and with the advice I received from Shari about home inspection services, upgrades, options, color selections and more. They all definitely went out of their way to please.
We had the best experience from Manor. After looking for four months and doing our homework on builders in the Vancouver area. After reading all the reviews that I have read about Manor homes I cannot believe what people have said.first of all when you are building a house maybe you need to go buy and look at it during the build. As for me I did finish carpentry for a few years, and yes I went by almost every day. Shari Reseigne and Russ Patterson went well beyond to get us the house we wanted. All the way from the start of dirt work to the finish, if we had any issues with the build, All it took was one text and Shari made it happen. During the build, What construction doesn t have a little hiccup, Todd there Forman was on top of everything that needed to be completed before our final walk. This was our second house that we have had built but our first from Manor. I would recommend anyone to buy a house from Manor, and they are one of the only companies that stand behind there product.
Great Company and Builder. Everyone I worked with, Russ Patterson, Mark Woolridge, Rondy, Shari, bent over backwards to ensure I was happy with my new home. I chose the Grenwich, but made many changes to the original plan including reconfiguring the master bedroom, upgrading the guest bathroom bathtub and tile, adding 2 additional doors to the outside, converting a bedroom to a den by removing part of a wall and placing double doors in it's place that open to the great room, adding more windows and enlarging almost all of the windows in the plan, adding cabinets a rod to hang clothes to dry and a large utility sink in the laundry room, adding crown moulding at the last moment, rounding corners in the concrete walk ways. When I was unable to drive up to look at the progress, Shari would email pictures. Russ and Ann walked me through the entire process, including choosing lighting, flooring, bathroom, kitchen fixtures,etc., and would accompany me to the show rooms when I requested they do so, finding an outstanding mortgage broker at a local bank, the closing at the title company, etc., everyone with Manor Homes was accommodating and I love my new home. They just completed the 1 year warranty work, very minimal, paint and caulking touchups. Russ and Ann gave me inexpensive suggestions to make my home of 40 years more appealing to potential buyers. It sold a few hours after it was listed on MLS, for more than the asking price with multiple offers. I have recommended Manor Homes and Russ Patterson to many friends and aquaintences and will contintue to do so.

I built a home with Manor Homes in 2010 and I m still happy with the build! It was nice to work with a builder who had the clients best interest in mind. Requests and concerns were heard and to this day I love my home! I highly recommend this home builder! As a mortgage lender sometimes I get to share my great experience with my clients.
My new home in Frontier Meadows for the past 18 months has been a dream of a lifetime. It has great construction, fantastic location and friendly neighbors I couldn't be happier living the high life in a new home and great neighborhood. Thank you Manor Homes. You helped me find my favorite place.
Build quality of Manor Homes is terrible. We had our window crack in the dining room and they refused to replace it because it was past the one year warranty. We were the second home on this block to have that window crack. A gutter fell off the house and dented my car. They refused to fix either the house or the car. They cut corners on our HVAC systems causing the back two bedrooms to be either too hot or too cold. If you tour a Manor home you will notice that the walls bow. That should be your first warning sign. And of course Manor doesn't care.
Pro tip: if you are touring houses and you want to know if Manor built the house, just look for the "seam" between the first floor and second floor in the attached picture.
We purchased a home from Manor and are extremely happy with it. We had no problems doing our build because we took an active role during the building process and documented everything. If it was a discrepancy, we brought it to Shari's attention and she directed it to the appropriate department and the item was taken care of. When I contacted Mark with a problem or a question, he would get back to us when he could. Sometimes his response would be within the hour or a day or two. You must remember, Manor has a lot of developments under construction and his schedule is very busy. I hear that some individuals are not happy with him, but we have had no issues with him or Manor. If I was to build all over again, I would put some different kitchen cabinets in and I would employ the same Real Estate agent to help us with the build. The agent we employed for our build had construction experience and he was very valuable and helpful during our build. Take it from us, it's your build, your money and if you don't have take a proactive roll in your project, you may end up regretting it. I've heard that one individual was unhappy that Manor doesn't take a more active role with veterans. Well, I'm a vet and procured a VA loan. What more can Manor do for a veteran. During our meetings with Shari, we was told that some buyers received received some discounts or incentives during their builds, which wench we were building, Manor didn't have those incentives. Does this make us mad we missed out on those incentive, no. Is our house falling apart, no. Do we have any regrets that we purchased a Manor Home, no. Are we happy where we built, yes. Would we recommend Manor to our friends, yes. Are we happy with the service that Shari and Russ provided us during our build, yes. Are we proud of our home and the choices we made, yes. Do we have a good HOA Board, yes. Does Manor have people with integrity, yes Have we had any problems in getting warranty work done, no. Have we witnessed Manor blaming sub contractors for substandard work, no. Did we address all issues that required further attention by Manor and did Manor take care of it to our satisfaction, yes. Are there individuals that are unhappy with Manor, yes. But in our opinion, there are individuals that no matter what you do for them, they will still complain.
We recently bought a move-in ready home with Manor. We loved how easy the process was. The customer service was great, and our home was such an excellent value with all of the features we wanted, in a neighborhood that we love. I highly recommend considering them if you are in the market for a new home!
