We purchased a home from Manor and are extremely happy with it. We had no problems doing our build because we took an active role during the building process and documented everything. If it was a discrepancy, we brought it to Shari's attention and she directed it to the appropriate department and the item was taken care of. When I contacted Mark with a problem or a question, he would get back to us when he could. Sometimes his response would be within the hour or a day or two. You must remember, Manor has a lot of developments under construction and his schedule is very busy. I hear that some individuals are not happy with him, but we have had no issues with him or Manor. If I was to build all over again, I would put some different kitchen cabinets in and I would employ the same Real Estate agent to help us with the build. The agent we employed for our build had construction experience and he was very valuable and helpful during our build. Take it from us, it's your build, your money and if you don't have take a proactive roll in your project, you may end up regretting it. I've heard that one individual was unhappy that Manor doesn't take a more active role with veterans. Well, I'm a vet and procured a VA loan. What more can Manor do for a veteran. During our meetings with Shari, we was told that some buyers received received some discounts or incentives during their builds, which wench we were building, Manor didn't have those incentives. Does this make us mad we missed out on those incentive, no. Is our house falling apart, no. Do we have any regrets that we purchased a Manor Home, no. Are we happy where we built, yes. Would we recommend Manor to our friends, yes. Are we happy with the service that Shari and Russ provided us during our build, yes. Are we proud of our home and the choices we made, yes. Do we have a good HOA Board, yes. Does Manor have people with integrity, yes Have we had any problems in getting warranty work done, no. Have we witnessed Manor blaming sub contractors for substandard work, no. Did we address all issues that required further attention by Manor and did Manor take care of it to our satisfaction, yes. Are there individuals that are unhappy with Manor, yes. But in our opinion, there are individuals that no matter what you do for them, they will still complain.
