The best coffee shop in Lubbock. I love their bottomless mug. Their coffee is excellent.

Five star overall. The place is definitely one of the most popular in town because they have great coffee and so it sometimes gets crowded and there can be a long line but the staff is always competent and fast and almost always friendly and chat when things aren't too busy.

Good coffee, hipster atmosphere. What more do you want?

Cool atmosphere, drinks are ok, it's a fairly slow place so dont go in a hurry.
The service is decent, pretty shy staff, I usually have alot of questions and feel like I scare them lol, I will return though

Great local coffee shop with a variety of coffee, espresso, and tea drinks. They even sell coffee and teas in bulk.

Love everything! Food, coffee, bulk items, shakes! A bit on the pricey side, but 10/10 worth it.

I usually just buy whole beans here and grind them at home. However, this is a pretty cool place to just hang out. They usually have a good, dark, strong option which is what I prefer.

It has been a long time since I give a bad review. It took them 35+ minutes to prepare my order on a not so busy Saturday morning.
Customer service needs to be improve specially for those that are not familiar with types of products and drinks. Not very friendly staff from what I saw... Was going to give them one star, but I do know that their products are great and I did enjoy what I got to go... 3 stars is a generous rating based on this visit.

Cigars and Cappuccinos

I'm no college student but what I do know is that I have a place to enjoy a cigar and drink from a variety coffees. Fast and friendly!

J and b is still good, but if I'm being honest, yellow house coffee stands triumphant over this mighty establishment. Great people and coffee, but taste is king!

A Lubbock mainstay, J&B is a very popular coffee shop for students and locals alike. The interior has a great atmosphere. And with the newly-repaved parking lot, getting to J&B is easier than ever. Skip the brewed Pike roast for this local chain!

Every time I went there, tried a new coffee! Yesterday I tried the latte with Toasted marshmallow flavor & they just made it so perfect as I wanted! Another thing I love that place about is the interior & exterior decoration! A lovely place overall

The coffee is pretty good especially if you get the sugary drinks where you can't taste the coffee as much. Not a huge fan of the coffee itself. The place is usually very crowded, but to grab some food and coffee it's a good stop

2/3 times I have gone my order hasn't been correct even though I order the same kind of frappe. Drip coffee is good and well brewed. Unsure if there is a system in place for reminding workers of what was ordered but I think the details get muddled or lost in translation from register to barista. UPDATED: Went back and it was fixed after much discussion.

A very nice coffee shop and also a comfortable place to relax, hang out with friends, or just study. Located in Tech Terrace so many college students come here to study.

The environment is fantastic. I love the shabby shake. It is possibly the most delicious iced coffee drink I've had. Unfortunately, the prices are a little high compared with other coffee shops. If your willing to pay, the warm, inviting environment may well be worth it. The staff are friendly enough, but they do not go out of their way to be friendly. All in all, one of the best coffeeshops around.

It s a great place to meet and get coffee. The parking is rough, but that s not J&B s fault. Inside is cool, dry, and clean. The service is quick and friendly. They were helpful and great. Go here!

Clean and cozy atmosphere, this is clearly the place to be for coffee and good eats. Analaise was so friendly to us when we stopped in, and walked us through ordering, asking for our choices and being really cool when I changed my mind on tea flavor! The breakfast croissant was tasty, egg and your choice of meat with melty, delicious cheese - or no cheese at all, if you prefer.

This place is the epitome of a college coffee shop - and I love it! They have events going on during the school year (like open mic night).
Say goodbye to Starbuck's Chai Tea Latt - it's too watered down; not enough flavor. Order one from J&B and you won't go back.

So good. Caramel cowboy was really delicious. My wife got the chocolate and cayenne drink. Can't remember what it was called, but it was pretty tasty. They're practicing social distance and mask rules.

Cool place with great coffee and coffee drink selections. Lots of seating but the place seems to be filled with college students. The single time I was there during finals week, there was only a single small table available in the whole place.

Went there today at the recommendation from a coworker. I was just standing off to the side trying to get a look at the menu when one of the employees was so incredibly rude and told me to get to the back of the line. I was just trying to see what was on the menu before I went to the back of the line. I was NOT trying to cut anyone, I m not in first grade. I have a hard time seeing things at a distance and was trying to figure out what I wanted to order so I knew what I wanted before I got to the register since it was so busy. I ended up leaving because I didn t appreciate being spoken to that way.

So J&B is a wonderful wonderful place- they have the best chai in town hands down!! They also have some of the sweetest baristas I know!

Their mixed drinks are delicious!! They're always crowded but the drinks are usually turned around pretty quickly, and the service is always great.

This place is really amazing. We are from out of town and great reviews lead us here. They were incredibly busy but moved through the line like pros. Very flavorful well brewed coffee. Highly recommend!

Good coffee but confusing as hell for first timers.

The espresso macchiato coffee tastes almost burnt though and slightly expensive for a shot of espresso and some steamed milk.

J&B is a nice break from chain coffee shops. It's locally owned. It has a college atmosphere. They have a food menu and a rather large collection of coffee and tea choices.

Excellent place to study. Bring your laptop and enjoy high speed wifi. I believe they have a quiet area in the back but I like to drink my coffee and read my notes in the main lobby while listening to the soft music play.

Worst coffee shop I've ever been to.
I've been here 2 different times and each time I've gotten AWFUL service the staff were rude and they messed up my order. The food was not fresh at all the people making orders were not wearing gloves.
The bathroom was atrocious and the whole place is just TERRIBLE.
Go to Starbucks instead

This place is a great coffee shop to meet up with friends at. If you plan to do homework, make sure to bring headphones as it does get a little loud.

I'm not even sure how to express how I feel.
I went to get coffee today with a friend and was so disappointed by the rudeness of both the staff and the clientele.
Not worth the money I spent on an iced latte.
I will just take my business elsewhere.
