It is a nice place but it needs more decoration everuthing is so cold there... the athmosphere

Friendly staff, good conference facilities and they were more than accomodating to extend my stay when I changed my mind to stay an extra few days. Clean and good size rooms also.

It was great! Food was good, parking was easy, staff (Reception, concierge, housekeeping and restaurant in particular) were super helpful and always attentive and friendly.

Beautiful food and our waitress - a beautiful soul.

From the concierge to the location, we really enjoyed our trip to Manly. The warm towels were a particular highlight after a swim!

Went for a wedding. Nice view. A bit quiet for a hotel on a Friday night. Clean. Avoid the valet parking if possible. The guys down there couldn't find my car for 30 mins

Unbeatable views. But, wow, expensive and they don't even give you breakfast or wifi included. Stingey or what??

Stayed here for a couple of nights and love, love, loved it! The rooms are a bit dated but the service was sensational! Bit shout out to Elle and Farrel from concierge for sorting out surfboard hire for me pre arrival and being extraordinarily helpful. Staying here for work is brilliant as you can catch the ferry across from the CBD, decompress on the trip, stroll into the hotel, straight into boardies and then across the road for some waves - all time! Excellent food options only a short walk (<5 mins) away as well!

I had a great stay here at Novotel Sydney Manly Pacific two days ago. Rooms were clean and bathrooms are well maintained. Staffs were all nice and accommodating. Would love to stay here again.

The hotel is so nice, expensive. It is close to the beach and with alot of visitors around. It is an amazing place

Location is great, beach just across the road and walking distance to all the shops and public transport network

Had a wonderful experience staying at the Novotel in Manly.
The view was amazing - directly across from the beach.
Rooms were clean and staff friendly.
Unfortunately there wasn't free in-room WiFi or free in-house movies.

Every morning enjoyed a fabulous cup of coffee at restaurant in the lobby. Concierge desk and reservations desk people greated me with a friendly hello...and inquired if I needed anything to help get my day started correctly. Much thanks.

Food in restaurant was disappointing and service unbearably slow. Only saving grace for this place was the view and rooms were nice- didn't stay the night, was visiting friends who were, though.

The family had a lovely one night stay for my mothers birthday. The check in staff were amazing. Made mum feel very special. Went beyond the call of duty. We'll be back.

We had a great experience, staff were all very friendly and helpful. It was my wife's 40th birthday and she felt speacial when she received a bottle of wine and a fruit platter. The room was excellent and had a great view. Unfortunately our breakfast experience wasn't the best. We had to wait for over half an hour before we could be seated and we didn't really enjoy the food at breakfast. However I would really like to advise that 'Grace' did an absolutely amazing job during breakfast. Grace was the only person at the desk and she also had to clear and set tables as they became available. Grace was friendly and helpful at all times and did not complain once. I was disappointed that other staff members did not offer to help at least clear tables as quite a few people did not demonstrate the same work ethic as Grace.

Room ok... the extraction fan outside of my bedroom was too noisy ... asked at reception about it told it would turn off told 9 pm.. then 10.30 pm. Not great

Was only there for a 1 day conference and it was great. Good staff, no parking though for people who weren't staying there.

Very nice hotel in a great location. Nick the concierge went above and beyond to help us find a pair of sunglasses we had lost a day earlier. He was also very helpful in getting good prices on ferry tickets and entry to zoo. Fantastic customer service.

We just booked at Zali's for Christmas Lunch 2017 as it's always such good value. I was super impressed with the service we received when booking, and in particular from Belle. We had lots of questions and a special request, all of which she handled promptly and professionally!

I was taking my Wife and 2 Daughters to the 8th floor from the loby via the elevator when the it began to malfunction. We were all very traumatised by the experience as we were trapped in elevator. We thought that this was the end as it jolted several times. We called for assistance but no one could hear us to assist.
My Daughters are now traumatised from the experince. and i would never go back to a Novatel again.

After looking a post reviews i agree that its old and dated which explains the elevator malfunction.

After the event i was promised a full refund from assistant on Sunday.
I spoke with Corrie 10.53 am today and she said David (office manager will call back).

No Call Back

I called 2nd time 2.53pm today and spoke to Franda. After getting irrate i was finally put through to David ( office Manager).

I demanded a full re fund as they had not processed this payment as yet.
David re assured that i will get this re fund after 5 days.

Over all this Hotel is over priced (over $450 ) per night for a run down accomadation. If you can avoid this place you would be doing yourself a favour.

CALLED GENERAL MANAGER TO FOLLOW UP REFUND BUT TO BUSY TO ANSWER HIS PHONE. MANAGER IS FULL OF PROMISES BUT DOSE NOT FOLLOW THROUGH.

GOT THROUGHT TO MCKALLOR AND SHE HAS ADVISED REFUND PAYMENT TO BE PROCESSED ANOTHER 5 DAYS.

Excellent stay as per usual at the lovely Novotel Manly Pacific and very much appreciated being upgraded to an ocean view room. Being a member of the Accor Hotels Loyalty program is outstanding value. Also enjoyed the on site restaurant Zali's where we enjoyed our lunch meal so much we decided to have dinner there as well. Very nice food. We have stayed at this hotel a number of times now and will definitely be back in the future.

At the moment you walk into the lobby, you can tell this is a Very child friendly hotel. Air hockey table, kids corner, craft stations to name a few. Friendly staff. Right next to the beach. Cheap restaurant within.

We were on the 2nd floor next to a very noisy person and the noise from the night club downstairs was also noisy. Obviously the walls are paper thin because you could hear people in the corridors leaving the club.

Stayed here for a work conference, and I would definitely not come back. The rooms, food and location is decent, but my experience was terrible. First, we got stuck in the lift, the lift itself started shaking and all of us was pretty terrified, and had to call for help. Eventually we got out after few minutes and went to notify the front desk. However, they didn't really do much, just said the lift was overloaded. That's not what we were looking for, a lift being overloaded does not shake and drop multiple times. Even if that's the case, the proper response is still taking a look at it to ensure it doesn't happen again. Second issue was when I was checking out. I was with my other colleagues, and when it was my turn, the front desk lady was very rude and snobby, and actually asked if I even stayed at the hotel. I was attending a conference with over 100 people, and was in the same group, I had no idea why she had to ask, I was chatting to the same people for God's sake! I wasn't dressed in suit or anything since it was casual attire, and I don't know if it was my gender or race, but I did feel like the lady was looking down at me. Overall, terrible experience, I wouldn't even come back if you paid me!

Not a good way to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary.Went on a Sunday night and had a function centre 2 rooms away and part of the Novotel building. Staff told us the loud boom boom music would stop at 10pm but not so.Numerous calls ro reception did not stop It. Complaints to the venue did not stop it. Reception said it was separately managed!
Eventually the manager offered us another room so late at night we shifted and eventually got to sleep.
Also the inroom safe did not work and the fridge was leaking.These were fixed after we notified them of the issues
Room 219 should not be let with the function centre operating late at night.
On a positive note it is an excellent location and has wonderful views.Our room was ready on arrival which was early.Staff tried to rectify or fixed the issues we had.

Please stop the BS "we have Upgraded you" at check in when you give me a room with a half a window close to the elevators with such a thin door to the next room that I may as well have been part of their night conversation.

Breakfast was a disaster ... after 1h10mins of waiting I had to go to ask about my breakfast ... clearly they forgot ... poached eggs were hard boiled eggs ... fruit salad very small and miniature pastry was a disaster too ... very dissapointed ... a lots of staff after 30 mins secon waitress came to us and ask what do we want to order ... i think problem was lack of managment in this place plus unskilfull chef and cooks ... its sad ...

Very professional, tidy and clean conference room and very nice view to manly beach

What an amazing location. We had a large balcony where we sat on the lounge over looking Manly Beach sipping champagne. The room was basic and the bed very comfortable. The staff were happy and helpful :)

Sorry I never answered before but I was away. I would rate my stay as a 10. I was more than satisfied. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Meals met our expectations. Room was also nice. I would not hesitate staying at this Novotel again or recommending it to my friends.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Amazing view of Manly Beach and great location. I'd stay at Novotel Manly again.

The hotel location was fantastic and breakfast was excellent, however the rooms, hallways were old and carpets stained, showers sprayed water all over the bathroom, room heating was either non-existent or once I requested someone fix the problem, a mechanic crawled into the ceiling to turn it on(as apparently the wall switch is just for show), the room became boiling, it was noisy and the staff ineffectual- from not understanding their parking system to being unable to deliver a trolley to help move luggage to our car (after 30 minutes) someone turned up with a room service trolley! I will likely not stay at the Manly Novotel again. Especially given that I paid a premium to stay.

Had a great night's stay, the staff were fantastic, the room was comfortable, breakfast was reasonably priced and was delicious

The fan in the bathroom is very noisy
The wash basin drain was partially bloket but got fixed after I reported it

Room and service all fairly good. The shower was a little dodgy as the water sits away from the waste and wants to run out onto the floor and carpet.
The only real gripe, car parking was a little bit of a nightmare, and initially ole mate didn't give us an option to "self Park" he just said stop here, dump your gear out (a heap with 2 little kids) and go up to lobby. It wasn't until I received the little paper on the key ring that I read the back and just said to him later that I will park myself. Seriously, an extra $20 just for someone to park your car in the same carpark that you can, take no responsibility for damage, and then, I need to wait to get it back, or find him for the keys just to get something out??.... that is a bit of a joke. Other than that we had no issues.

Great location but rooms are outdated the room I had was in the courtyard it was woeful considering it cost $380 for the night no view at all except for white pebbles & a couple of garden ornaments ,do not stay in the courtyard rooms.
Staff where terrific

Only entered the lobby area to use atm by staff were friendly in pointing us to the right location. In addition the lobby was clean and had toilet facilities and also kids play areas.

It's quite a nice place, popped in for a lunch and drinks and had a good time.

Great location in the heart of manly. Clean rooms and pleasant service levels. Highly recommended.

Overall wonderful customer service and the staff made my birthday special with lovely extras and upgrade to oceanview room. Only negative is bar was closed quite early so I couldn't use drink vouchers and wish I knew earlier so I could use them. Also parking quite steep at $35. Don't understand why it can't be included or subsidised.

Had lunch at the restaurant, slow service, not great food.
