Manito Tap House is great. It may be one of the best eateries in Spokane. The buffalo cauliflower is amazing, and their taps are extensive. I wish they took reservations, but otherwise great. I always look forward to going there.
Their service has also been consistently good.

Everything is fresh and flavorful. They have a very good list of beer that is ever changing. Its got a very unique vibe. If you're looking for good American food, this is some of the best.

This place is one of my favorite places for a drink and burgers. The burgers are awesome here.

Hate is a strong word, so would rather see the single star above as indicating extremely low value. We have been to MTH 5 times. Our first several visits - beginning 2 years ago - were incredible experiences. We visited about 6 months ago and were very surprised by the poor service, cold food, and the price increases (e.g., $24 Hanger Steak). We completed a feedback survey before we left leaving contact information- we had some significant concerns but never heard back. Out of fairness, we visited MTH again about 2 weeks ago hoping for some of the original great service and food we had experienced in the past. Unfortunately we were very disappointed in the whole experience and noticed the prices had risen. Our meal was around $80 for two meals, 1 tap beer, no dessert. We would like to keep an open mind about MTH, but we see the service, food quality, and value sliding downhill quickly.

Absolutely horrible service.
Tried going a few times to give them the benefit of my doubt. Each time was a test of patience. The employees seem to loath the fact that they have people to wait on. Beer list is ok, if you get a chance to try more than one in a period of two hours.
The time that bugged me the most was sitting at the bar trying to order a beer by making eye contact with the bar tender who was to busy helping/chatting with some girls to even acknowledge I was there. He would accidentally glance my way but not once offered me a beer. After 15 minutes of that treatment I left. (Being a bald dude, I had no chance against cute girls)
Another time we waited 20 minutes to get a table, waited another 15 to get a chance to order a round of beers which they were out of half of. Then waited another 20 minutes to get the beers. The waitress noticed that we were getting up to leave and guilted us to stay and then brought us our beers in a timely fashion.
The food was ok, but cold as it took so long to show up. I should add that the pub was busy, but our server only seemed to have three tables she was tending to. She would disappear in the back for long periods or go behind the bar and chat with the bar tender for no apparent reason.
Would not recommend this place to anyone! EVER! There are much better pubs with much better service in the area.

Best burger ever! Definitely recommend the smoked gouda burger.

Went to this place back in August and on Halloween. In August I got a lamb Philly steak that must have been seasonal because it was not offered in October it was really good, something they should consider year round. Mac-n-cheese is the best! Not only a good selection of beer, but the largest selection of cider I have seen anywhere. Only gave this place a 4 because both times I went they were out of items that were on the "specials" menu insert and usually if a restaurant is trying to promote an item they really should not be out of it.

Amazing.

If you love beer, American food, and or Italian based food. This place is gonna be your new fav. I come here every time I'm in town. They have some gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options. They always have 2 great daily soup choices and awesome deserts with many different icecream flavors.

Staff is quick and friendly, with a laid back atmosphere.

Okay. The beer. If ANYTHING go here for beer. They have tons of choices all organized in their menu by dark/light. And there's 4 pages of them!! Can't decide? They do a very well priced taster paddle with 2.5 Oz pours! You get to pick! This is my favorite because I get to try 6! And all the beers are available for the paddle too, more expensive ones just get a lighter pour.

Service was slower than it should be, but friendly. Food was great!

It was good, but the food was different than the typical taphouse I've gone too. It was too Portland for me. I like more the typical bar style food. Again, this is purely my opinion and I am sure others would rate it a 5. The staff was good, the food prep was good, the selection was just different. The 50 taps were a good variety.

Food is always good for us here. Duck rolls are pricey, but good. All the food has great taste. Good beer selection always.

The Manito Tap House is my favorite restaurant in Spokane. The beer is amazing and always changing, perfect if you like to try new things. As a vegetarian it is a big deal when a restaurant lists whether a meal is vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, etc. The service has been top shelf each time I've been to the Tap House, so no complaints there.

My suggestions to anyone:
- yam chips
- $5 beer sampler

Quite simply, this place deserves a 30/30 rating.

At risk of sounding like a huge snob, I am thoroughly embarrassed to say I'm from Spokane when Red Robin continues to win "Best Burger" every year in the Inlander's Polls.

I've been to Manito Tap House a few times now, and can't resist ordering the burgers. As others have mentioned, the flavors are incredible and play off each other well. The patties are cooked perfectly and actually taste fresh and organic.

Service has always been prompt, accounting for the bustle of its busy hours (which are almost any time they're open), and always friendly while remaining casual and attentive. The servers seemed knowledgeable on the beer selection and were helpful in describing the various notes and tones. Unlike a lot of other notorious gastropubs and tap houses in town, this one isn't pretentious nor does it subscribe to the whole "hipster first, service second" mentality *cough* the Elk *cough*

I can't recommend this place enough.

Place went down hill. Brought guests from out of town and was ashamed that I said it was a good place. Brought out the nastiest tea pitcher and left it at our table. Service and food was a 4. Used to be great

I have to say that the Manito Tap House was the best experience for dinning, drinks, atmosphere and service I have had ever in any establishment. If you are looking for a nice place to sit back and whined down, MTH is the place to go.........Thank you for the amazing experience! A+++ in my book!

Where to begin.... This place sucks! We've been to this place twice over the past few years and were very disappointed both times and decided to never go back. We recently learned it was under new ownership so we decided to give it another shot, and to our surprise, it is still terrible. The meat was dry and under salted, the bread was soggy, the fries were burnt and dry, and the service was extremely lacking. Even talking to the supervisor, it was clear they don't give af about their product or their customers experience. We'll never go here again, and are continued to be amazed by the positive reviews.

I loved the gouda burger and the huckleberry ale was one of the top huckleberry ales I've tried!

This used to be one of my favorite places to eat, but the quality of the visit has diminished with changes to the chef. My son ordered fish tacos and they had more slaw on them tan they did fish. I tried to order the seared tuna that was on the menu only to be told that they ran out of that and that they could substitute chicken for the tuna. Not only are the price points for these two proteins different, but I don't want seared chicken that is still raw in the middle. Due to this, I ordered the lamb pita. When I got my meal I noticed that the lamb meat was hardly seasoned mixed up in a flat bread (not a pita) with cheese, onions, peppers, and something reminiscent of a Chipotle sauce. I can only assume that the Chipotle sauce was intended to be the main source of seasoning for the dish. My wife ordered a simple burger cooked medium rare which was served without a spot of pink in the meat. I think that the service was well enough, but the quality of the product coming from the kitchen needs some attention. When I go out to eat with my family I would like to have food that is as good as what I make at home if I am spending more than$50 on it.

Well after all the hype, I gave it a try. I gotta say the atmosphere is definitely urban and it feels like I'm back at home in Portland. I ordered the tap house burger and my wife tried the Cesar salad, Two ways... Chard lettuce fresh off the grill with a portion of your classic Caesar. Only problem is that they don't put dressing on it! It literally is half a romaine lettuce bulb off the grill. No dressing. When we asked for dressing we got some, but it was pretty flat and boring. Overall not a great salad for $11 bucks.

We ordered out tap house burger rare per the waitresses recommendation. That was a mistake as well. Rare here means cold inside. Definitely juicy though. Juicy cold blood burger.

So unless you hankering for a chard romaine bulb, and juicy cold ground beef. Maybe try something else.

One of the best french dip sandwhiches ive had in years

We used to come here often but they changed up the menu and got rid of all the good old favorites that kept us coming back for more. Sadly too many restaurants are doing this in spokane now in an attempt to be fancy and for us the new menus are usually a fail. It's okay to bring in some new options but don't completely abandon the old local favorites.

Sustainable kitchen pumping out ridiculous food a little pricey but worth the cash

We had the taphouse burger and the cuban and I will say the taphouse burger was one of the best burgers I've ever tasted. The bacon jam was killer! The cuban was delicious as well.

I can't say enough about a Manito Tap House Burger. I'm a "mostly vegetarian" but I fold for that burger. And don't get me started on the aioli!

Went for brussel sprouts and was not disappointed! I do wish it was more than just the leaves of the sprouts, but the flavors were still amazing! I went on Wednesday and they had a great burger and beer deal, and the burgers were juicy and delicious. Even my friend who got a vegetarian burger said that the patty was super good. Service was friendly, although he seemed a little busy with having a fair bit of tables. I definitely would recommend this place!

Good food and an amazing beer selection! A fun building. Food menu selection isn't very large, but the food is really good. Service is fine, but not wonderful.

Menu has changed a bit but beer selection is still best around

We had a great time watching March Madness got a great table lots of spirit in the house. We ordered the chicken sliders off the appetizers and the chicken curry wrap and both were really good. They were willing to give beer samples and we were able to decide on a couple nice lager beers.

Great selection of brews, delicious food, good staff, great atmosphere! If you haven't been here, definitely give Manito Tap House a try. Service is a little slow, but worth it, so make sure your not in a hurry.

What a fun beautiful summer night on the patio at the tap house! I love love that they have some veggie items on the menu, dinner was great. Our waitress and all the helpers were above and beyond awesome. Can t wait to come back

Good food! I had The Dan Dan noodles. Their were so delicious (esp if you like peanut sauce. The Cannon (French dip) sandwich is really good too. A friend got that. It's a bit noisy and busy even on a Tuesday night. The yam chips with cheese sauce was great as an appetizer.

Never a disappointing meal. Califlower gnocchi is one of my favs although they changed the cherry that comes with it (and it isn't as good).

Go to for a great pour and food. We never miss taking our house guests to Manito Tap House when we have visitors.

Great food & service, but hostess wasn't very friendly or welcoming. We loved the beer choices & we didn't have to wait long to order or be served. We will definitely be back.

I wish they weren t so full of political indoctrination. But, that s the least of their issues. Their food was dry, like as in pasta was crunchy. Beer was completely flat.

I love the sustainability model the taphouse lives by and the food and beer are fantastic as well! Excellent, extensive beer selection, truly something for everyone, and the menu is eclectic, which again makes for terrific variety and choice. Great service, casual, comfortable atmosphere, cool building, unique and yummy menu and they're being excellent stewards of the planet. Love this place!

One of the girl waitresses is horrible at her job, I will not be coming back. She is very rude and smelled of alcohol. She had reddish brown hair. I didn't quite get her name just know she was immature and . unprofessional. A 20 year old bimbo with no respect for her elders.

My family and I have been coming to your restaurant for years. We live in North Spokane and we drove all the way down to South Spokane to have lunch at your restaurant as we have done many times. I got my favor meal which is Curry wrapped chicken. Unfortunately there was a 10 inch long light brown hair in my meal. At that point I had stopped and my husband asked to speak to the waitress. I was very upset and grossed out and at that point. I could not eat the curry wrap. Waitress asked if I could bring something else and I got the pork tacos. Unfortunately by the time it came I had I lost my appetite at that point. She never did apologize for the inconvenience or even bring a manager over. We expected to comped a free drink or appetizer for the inconvenience. We also expected a manager to come over and talk to us. That never happened. We receive the bill in there was no discount on our bill. We spoke to the waitress and she didn t do anything. We paid for the full meal that I was very grossed out and did not eat. On our way out we asked to speak to a manager. The manager never came out. Then somebody else came out and said they were a part-time manager and could they help. We explain to them what happened and he did not do anything. No apology no discount on our next meal he said there was nothing he could do at this point. We were very discouraged we have been a loyal customer for years and after you certainly saw how you treated us we really do not want to come back to your restaurant at all. Be my husband are both of them customer care business and we know that s not how you treat customers. I realize it was an accident but nobody cared about how we felt. Another restaurant that just doesn t care about my customers. Very sad Spokane lost another good restaurant I would not recommend this to anyone.

The service was very good even with two kids. Great soup and mac and cheese. Ground chuck burger needs more fat in the grind for flavor. Great beer.

Wow I called for a party of nine for a birthday party and they refused our service. Disappointed. I am not saying they are a terrible restaurant, I have eaten there before and loved their food. One time my husband and I had dinner there for our anniversary they brought us our food, there was a mistake in our food, not just mine but my husbands as well. The manager came out apologizing, gave us a free meal.

It's not often a place lives up to the hype it has, but Manito Tap House does. They have an amazing beer selection, and the food was really good too.

FANTASTIC food and my favorite place to get great specialty ciders. I would love to be able to give them 5 stars but a couple times the service has been sub par. One time when we went it took about 40 minutes just to get our water after we were seated... our drinks and food were a while after that even. The staff never seemed hurried or overwhelmed so I'm not sure if the problem is under-staffing or lazy waitresses. I recommend going during the day when this doesn't seem to be a problem. Oh, and the best fried mozzarella EVER, I could live off it, for years, and still love it

Nice beer choices which is to be expected since it is a Tap House! Tasty food. Service was spot on. The food selection was limited in my opinion, but still of high quality which is what matters in the end. Nice atmosphere and not unbearably loud. Would recommend to friends.
