This place routinely has great food, friendly and helpful staff, and great beer. When friends are visiting I always bring them here for their first evening in town. Try one of their burgers, or their wonderful mac n cheese. Definitely step above 'pub food'. Of note; terrificly artful and secure bikeracks, visible from within the restaurant.
Okay, so where do I start here? Manito Tap House has everything! Amazing beer menu that is bigger than most restaurant s food menu, incredible food that covers multiple ethnic styles, and a great atmosphere! If you love food or beer and you haven t been here already, you need to come visit them. This place is a favorite for sure! Awesome service also! 5-star dining at a 3-Star price! Thank you very much!!
Try the Mac n Cheese and/or the burgers. They are top notch here! Many imported beers on tap as well.
Overpriced. Overrated. Poor service. Especially for a monday.
The food is OK, not great. The service could use improvement. Our group included a service dog and a 4 year old. We were put in the back in a corner, far away from everyone else, which was OK until I realized that the tables around us were filled with people with small babies. Needless to say, it quickly became loud and uncomfortable for everyone.
If you like a hipster style this is the place to go.

We loved this place until they changed their menu. Had some of the best sandwiches and mac and cheese anywhere. Now we just go there for the tap list, which is really good, just disappointed by the food.

I've been to brewpubs & gastropubs all over the country and this is one of my top 2 all-time-favorite! The food here is epic, the beer selection is outstanding, and the service (from beer knowledge to ideal food pairings) left a lasting impression. From burgers to wraps to, of course, the mac & cheese - it's been almost a year since visiting Spokane in November 2013 and my colleague and I STILL talk about Manito Tap House!

What great choices for beers they have! Two of us ate outside under the mister on a hot evening. I had a huge citrus wheat pale ale (so big I couldn't finish) and daughter had a chocolatey dark beer, plus we split a big salad and 3 barbeque brisket sliders ...all for $38. Wait staff was attentive and everybody looked happy! (Sorry, I forgot to take photos.) Highly recommended.
This place is a must go whenever I am in town for my boyfriend and I. Probably my favorite place in Spokane to eat and get drinks.

Great!!! Our table had the appetizer trio, brussel sprout salad, jalepeno poppers, mac & cheese, buffalo cauliflower and a curry wrap. All excellent. Nice, family friendly atmosphere and one of our usual stops when we pass through town. Server #350 (didn't get her name) was pleasant and very attentive.

Sliders were good, too. Prices seem reasonable, and the beer selection is very good.
Last visit we sat at the bar...Now for the not-so-good: the bartender could not be bothered to make eye contact for much of our stay and had an air of "I'm too cool for the room." He's not.
Oh, and once served, it was hard to get a missing item cuz the whole cycle started over again.
We will come back but will be less forgiving if we see bartender misbehavior again.
Long wait if you dont want to sit at the bar but its because the beer and food menu is amazing. Service was fantastic and the bartender Brandon ws awesome and super knowledgable about the menus. All of the burgers were super good and highly reccomended.
Every beer I've tried here so far has been amazing and balanced, the environment is laid back, and the food is amazing! Fair prices for the most part as well.
I went here with my friend for brunch. It has such good food. I wish they gave you more food. Also the waiter was super nice. I was so happy that I tried this place

It's a popular place so prepare for a small wait. Beyond that though this place is phenomenal. An expansive beer menu, amazing food, their house mac-and-cheese is the eighth wonder of the world.
Love the food. Curry Wrap and Lamb Philly are our favorites. Sweet potato waffle fries with Gorgonzola Bacon dip is to die for! Love sitting outside on a summer evening. Great service and lots of beer on tap.
Great food! Service is really slow though so If you're in a hurry I would suggest a different place to eat. Props to the cook, he or she knows what they are doing. The only thing that would make this place awesome is the waitresses/waiters need to be more on top of their game.

I used to love this place when they first opened. I am pretty sure my family and I went here every week... Since then they have changed the menu and there are not near as many offerings. I also haven't had very good burgers the last few times I went in. Very dry. Still a fun place but I just don't find myself going as often as I used to.
Have been many times, always good food and service. Dined outside near heater, tables spaced apart. Only a 10-minute wait or so, around 7:30 on Friday night, for outdoor table. Menu smaller now. I usually have a hard cider but had a cocktail tonight -- margarita, modified to include huckleberry instead of jalapenos for spicy version that was listed on menu. My husband always finds a new beer in tap that he likes. I appreciate the samples so I can try something new and interesting without commitment before deciding my drink order.

It's alright. A place the South Hill folks go to see and be seen. Expensive. The hosting folks work very hard some sometimes seem a little overwhelmed and beleaguered from all the patrons. So, tip them well. A unique selection of beers on tap and in the bottle, yet, as you may expect, overwhelmingly populated by local craft breweries. I'd hoped for more from the West side of WA and OR states and maybe more from ID and MT. There are a lot of imports from Europa and the like, and these may be very pricey. The beer menu is very nicely printed and is quite a read for the comprehensive beer offerings they have here. The food smells good though I did not eat here.
Always good food and more than 1 choice of a gluten free beer. They have a great dark one.

I used to go here every time I visited Spokane and loved it...I've tried it 3 times over the last 2 years and each time have been very dissapointed in the food selection, food quantity and quality as well as the service that is now lacking. Tried again two weeks ago and ended up leaving without ordering and went elsewhere. With so many great places to eat in Spokane I will pass on giving this place any more tries.

Very disappointed in the way I was treated last Saturday evening. We had a large group ten. Our group was told they could only seat 8 but would check the hostess would see what she could do. They made a special exception and squeezed our group in. As a couple of us from the group of ten were delayed we called to see if there was room for 4 more. My daughter asked if we could seat 4 more at an empty table next to our oversized group, the hostess told her that would be fine as long as we got there soon. We arrived within 10 minutes and the last four were minutes behind us on their way. Two of us sat at the table for 4 and we're rudely told that we could not sit there and after I said that the hostess said we could sit there I was told that that they do not reserve tables. Then he tild me that they had a call in that needed the table. Then he informed that they had allready made an exception for our oversized group of ten. I told him that the hostess said we could sit at the table. He said that she should not have done that an we had to move. The worst part is that I had to tell our freinds that they could not join us. Then the table sat empty for at least ten minutes and was filled with two people when there was another two person table empty a couple feet away. I would understand more if there was no other tables open and a waiting line out the door but there was at least three or four other tables open. The man with a long beard needs to work on his people skills. Or maybe this place only wants to serve small groups. I was very upset at the way we were treated and will not be back. I am sure my friends will not be back either. This should be a only a one star at best.
Just ate the curry chicken wrap (asked for it without the wrap, so it would be a salad) and it was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! I am writing this review two days later and I have been thinking of this salad ever since. The lettuce, tomatoes were so fresh and the chicken so tender and moist. The flavors in this salad just really compliment each other so well. Service was excellent, bathroom clean and iced tea was a wonderful tasting peach flavor. Lots of free parking in the parking lot. If I lived in Spokane, I would eat here all the time.

Fantastic unique dishes, lovely atmosphere, and loved the layout.
My husband and I do not drink, but our friend took us to dinner here. He liked his beer. My husband liked the root beer. I had the most amazing tomato basil soup and spaghetti squash that was fabulous.
Food was like an elevated bar food and the couple beers I tried were fantastic. If your looking to have a bite and a brew, this is definitely a great spot!
This is our 3rd time dining in and we're very pleased with their staff and menu selection. Will definitely be back and 4th time. #Cheers

I've eaten here many times and have nothing but good things to say. The food is great and the beer selection is decent. I had the schnitzel and it was so big I couldn't finish it! Excellent burgers and friendly staff!
Marvellous burgers and the soup on the side made the meal twice as better. Highly recommend if you want to go a casual hipster taphouse (Emphasis on hipster). Heavily vegan friendly, but as a meat eater I still felt welcomed and the menu had a great selection of protein.
On the down side, I wish our jalapeno popper appetizer was a little bigger especially considering the price
Since working in the food industry for serveral years, I find it very unprofessional that the last two times I called I couldn't make a to-go order. The first time (last night 6/5) I called at 9:40pm and your "last call" was at 9:30. Tonight (6/6) I called at 9:28pm, and I was told that you just took your "last call". If you claim you close at 10pm then you should follow through and do TO-GO orders and serve food until 10pm (when you supposedly close). I find that the times are very inconsistent considering I called BEFORE 9:30pm. I really hope the owner of the restaurant sees this because you are losing money; a $50 purchase if not more and a 20% tip.

Seems every time I visit MTH I'm reminded why I don't like it. Last night - $13 for a microscopic cheese plate plus $2 for a tiny little stack of tiny pieces of bread. Both served by a smug waiter. Sorry, may not be able to work up the courage to go there again...

My boyfriend and I are not drinkers so we weren't sure about eating here...we were pleasantly surprised the food was so good we were still talking about it the next day. Very small food menu, but the items that were on it were done very well. We will make this a regular lunch destination.
