Great location, great views, helpful staff, great hotel

Good service, nice room and pool. Noticed that some of the standard rooms are facing the main road so it could be a bit noisy at night, but it is still manageable. The hotel is not exactly inside Fira, so you would have to either pay 10 to take a taxi or wait for 2 hours for the hotel shuttle (or, walk for 30mins).

This hotel is great. Quiet, excellent staff,rooms and restaurant and not far from town. Best overall experience amongst all good hotels on our trip.

It was our first time visiting anywhere in Greece and we weren't sure what to expect or where everything was. We were breaking up our time in a few places including a trip to Puglia, Italy later in our vacation to visit family. From we were dropped off to the hotel late that night our stay with Tina, Maria, Angel, Costas, and their staff at De Sol was perfect. To me customer service is one of the most important things and the team at De Sol blew us away with how well we were treated.

We relied on Tina and the team for everything and they were great with their recommendations, setting up reservations for us, arranging for excursions like our Sunset Boat Trip, and our amazing Anniversary dinner in Pyrgos. There is no doubt in my mind we will definitely be staying again at De Sol. At the end of our trip in Santorini I felt as comfortable there as I did with our family in Puglia.

We spend great week there. Very nice rooms, good quality

Clean and efficient. Beautiful pool. Spacious rooms. Good wifi. Free shuttle into fira and back and routine intervals. Accommodating staff and fluent in English. Breakfast is terrible by American standards though. Be ready for warm milk and cold eggs. The bacon was not bacon. Coffee was good though.

I don t believe this is a 5 star hotel. I wish This hadn t been my first impression of Santorini. Our room was left unsatisfactory multiple times (dirty cups. No coffee pod refills, no towels). The fruit in our room was rotting. One staff member became accusatory when we asked for a second room key, because we only received one. She was suggesting we lost the first one. Why does that matter? We preferred two guest keys because it was two of us. I wasn t impressed at all and quite left down. They even neglected to call a taxi for our departing flight and became argumentative. We had together our own cab and risked being late for our flight.
I believe somehow the reviews and stars given for this hotel are in fact for the last named hotel that was there prior. The spa, too, was not a spa and that s all I ll say on that. Save your money. Breakfast was awesome! Definitely the best part. Staff was lovely!

Very nice hotel but you tell it's very new, they haven't quite got the day to day running down yet and some things still aren't finished but it's a great location with its sister hotel Volcano across the road for a perfect sunset dinner. Pool are and bar service at De Sol ware fantastic!

A gem in Santorini. Newly built property with nice exterior and very modern interior. Pretty close to the center.
They also offer two shuttles to and fro the center at lease in Jan. They would probably offer more during the summer.
The rooms are big. Nice cozy interiors with a balcony overlooking the pool. Jus two levels so u don't get the feeling u r boxed in.
The breakfast buffet was good. I am a huge fan of omlettes and if I were being picky u can't have any made to order. But besides that good selection of pastries breads juices eggs and breads are offered.

The hotel has no sea facing rooms since it's on the other side of the roads, but they do a good job of making up some ground with the modern exteriors. Included the view from our balcony. Pretty amazing.

OH oh finally. There is a FANTASTIC BAKERY next door. That place is quite amazing. Took a walk to that bakery each evening to load on cookies and pastries. Must go.

We went for my husband's birthday, they gave us the Suite with an independent pool, it's amazing to say the least, we had 2 bathrooms only for us and very precise home services, the hotel staff was very kind, the apartment was designed modern and fanciful. To be recommended

Location only for tourists over 50 years not for children!

Spectacular, friendly staff. Although the pool closes too soon.

1. The location is on the side of the road, delicious. But if you get a room near there, there are noisy vehicles passing.
2. The wifi is slow
3. Lobby is ok
4. The room key is difficult to open the door
5. The swimming pool is ok
6. The breakfast is really good, there are fresh fruit and juice too. There is rice for Asian people.
7. Make nice outdoor photos .. Next to the vineyard.

I had a great treatment today with Isabella. Wonderful massage and facial, very relaxing spa area. Would recommend to get a treatment here if you have time.

Very nice hotel. With nice and friendly staff. In addition, the Wi-Fi and the ambience is very good.

Lovely resort with a large pool and very nice restaurant. There are spa options if you desire however we did not partake. The staff were very friendly and helped to arrange local tours and transport. There is also a courtesy bus that takes a loop of a few hotels and then to Fira. You could walk to fira as it is only a few km. The room was spacious and clean with a small balcony and the bathroom was enormous with a large spa. There is also a very nice bakery 100m from the hotel. The only downside is that it is not really easy walking distance to many things and if you liked to be where the action is or liked to walk a lot it is probably a bit outof the way and you really need to use vehicle transport. There is a series of private buses, essentially taxis that are relatively cheap and the hotel will happily arrange th em. The public busses are even cheaper but can be a bit hit and miss but usually there are signs in English

Great service, attentive staff who are very willing to provide all the necessary information to make our stay and tour of Santorini a pleasant one.

The hotel and rooms are clean.

The breakfast provided has a large variety of good delicious food.

We had to checked out at 5 am to catch our flight. Taxi was arranged and they even provided us with packed breakfast. That was a very nice touch.

Our stay at De Sol Hotel & Spa was far too short. The place is brand new the Reception staff are very professional and were only too happy to accommodate all our needs. The grounds are magnificent as well as the big rooms even a coffee machine. The bathroom is well equipped and very modern. The restaurant is a first class venue could not folter anything. The swimming pool and surrounds are magnificent. If you plan to visit Santorini please consider a stay here you won't be disappointed.

Very comfortable and clean hotel. No view but then to you don't spend top dollar either. They have a sister hotel right across the street, that you can access, and this one has a stunning view. A little far from Fira and Oia but they have a shuttle. If you rented a car, they have plenty of parking. Staff is super nice.

Unfortunately the hotel does not have an open sea view but it makes up for the other important points

One of my favorite accomodations in the history of my travels in Europe. Maria, one of the front desk extraordinaires, made our trip the best from start to finish. She helped us plan everything from transportation to cruises which became the best memories here. And the hotel room was perfect we had an exquisite view and it overlooked the property which was pristine and perfect. I would highly recommend staying here if you want to relax and enjoy Santorini.

Excellent place to stay. Close to Fira and easy access to roads that take you to other important parts of the island. Our room was great (201) even though it didnt have a great view. Breakfast was ok, but best thing was the staff. Very helpful and set out itenary for us during winter (Mary).

We booked this hotel based on the pictures and reviews.

When we arrived it was not what we expected at all. It was not like the pictures. We booked a superior room which had the best views of Santorini. We were disappoitneted - this was tiny, smelt of damp and the shower had damp above it - not what you expect from a 5* hotel.

We could hear the jacuzzi from next doors room and noise from moving furtniture at 11 - 1AM that night which disrupted our sleep greatly and we also woken early by noises also.

The views overlooked a scrap yard and the villas in front and dead land in front of that. Not like the pictures! The same also went for the pool. We then upgraded and had to pay an extra 2000 euros as the only other room they had was in their sister hotel that was a villa. The other option was to upgrade to a villa at DeSol hotel we were at but would have the exact same views as before.

Would not recommend - definitely do your research before booking.

The one positive from this hotel is that the manager and staff were very friendly and welcoming - the service was outstanding however the hotel should not be a 5* rating and was not what we paid for.

Nice hotel with a beautiful pool. The breakfast selection is quite large with traditional things like eggs and toast as well as cold cuts, fruit and many types of bread. Only complaint is that is not really in walking distance of the town Fira, especially at night. It's about a 30-35 min walk to the center of town.

I enjoyed this hotel quite a bit. Very nice rooms and pool. Service is very good and breakfast included is worth it. You can walk across the street to there sister property the Volcano View hotel and see million dollar views. Have drinks here or breakfast, which is also complimentary if they have availability. They have a shuttle that take you into town as well and back. Santorini has countless other properties I saw with the view and im sure huge price increase. This is a 5 star value option to get a similar experience. If you are on honeymoon though you may want that 4 digit a night view, I would maybe even consider for next time.

Great hotel in Sanatorini with nice cozy rooms. Good and healthy breakfast items and excellent yogurt and dried fruits. Surely would recommend this resort.

My group loved staying at De Sol Hotel. The hotel was beautiful, the rooms were clean, decorated nice and just an all around vibe. The whole property was pristine!
The Staff was Amazing! Tina and everyone that I encountered, wether at the front desk, at breakfast or just walking around was great. They took our stay from good to over the top and help with excursions and beyond.
The hotel is in the perfect location in the middle of the island, so it s great to get around! I would definitely stay again and look forward to going back!

If you are looking for a beautiful place outside the hustle and bustle of the big towns this place is AWESOME. The rooms are super nice, the pool is amazing, and the service was above and beyond. Would def recommend.

No options with food , bad customer service.... Not customer friendly at all.... For santorini and it's view can try to digest... But I can't.

We had a wonderful stay. We travelled over the winter months so the island was quite but lovely. De Sol was one of a few hotels still open but was a great place to stay. Located near the airport it was easy to travel around the island and Mary at reception was excellent helping us book tours and make suggestions on where to go.

The restaurant on site was fantastic. Lots of options to choose from and hosted a special menu for New Year's. Panagiotis the bar manager was excellent in making recommendations and wonderful service.

The spa was lovely to visit and was open even in the lower season.

A destination to visit year round not just during the summer.

There are bugs, spiders, the price difference is too bad, it is best not to book early, it is best to a few days ago, the price will be much cheaper.

Very nice hotel !!! With very good service very nice location as well as food !!!

The hotel is recently built so you'll see everything new which is nice. I like the reception with very attentive service for the hotel wellness and so for the island hot spots. Room was very comfortable and modern furniture and with view to pool and poolbar. The break fast was delicious made with several options for local food and international as well woah again a high standard catering. I haven't tried the restaurant there so I can't tell. The location is so convenient for a 15min walk through the city center and they offer also shuttle. But Believe me, you must mind the best tip ever to wake up early like 5 on the morning to presence an incredible sunrise.

Place was very nice and clean. Restaurant was good. Location could be better but not too far from the main town, Fira (about a 20 minute walk). Staff was extremely helpful and helped us arrange taxi's, open wine, and even gave us an outlet adapter when we lost ours! Would stay here again.

Beautiful hotel and spa!!! The marble is all over....so white so pure so peaceful!!! Everyone is so nice, from Tina front desk to Crysa at breakfast!!

For some unknown reason, in the morning, their staff keep opening our door without our permission. Besides that, after we check out, they didn't allow us to wait their shuttle bus inside the hotel. We had to wait their shuttle bus under the sun light for around one hour. If you really want to enjoy the sunshine of Santorini, this hotel is your first choice. A very good experience in a 5 stars hotel. Thanks Angel

This hotel was brand spanking new when we stayed here. The hotel and rooms looked immaculate and the layout and design of the place was absolutely beautiful. Staff were friendly and helpful in every way.

Beautiful location on Santorini seaside. Rooms are big, clean and well organised. Service it's perfect and also restaurant is good. Top moment morning breakfast! The sunrise from my room was fantastic!

Family trip at the top. Great hotel and very friendly staff.

I have used several hotels in Santorini but the hotel is very good. It is kind, the rooms are clean, and bedding set is smooth. The disposable items in the bathroom are also very luxurious. There is a stone on the wall of the bathroom.
There is not much kind of breakfast, too, and it is meal of good quality.

Awesome hotel with fantastic customer service. Santorini is an expensive island to stay at but you are sure to get excellent value for your buck here! The pool is great, as are the rooms (very clean and upscale).

There is a shuttle to Fira Village, but I think you must know where the shuttle is.
We alternated and took a bus to Perissa and got off on the way

It was our first trip to Santorini and we stayed for 3 nights. It was GREAT, breakfast was awesome and the view was outstanding. The best part was the staff. They were kind, friendly, informative and knowledgeable and again Kind. As it was our first trip we didn't know anything and they were able to help us plan our activities set up a car rental and provided us with directions. It would not be fair to single out anyone in particular as all of them were outstanding. Everyone from the reception to the the restaurant to the maintenance staff were attentive and just plain friendly. We look forward to a return visit. No pictures posted as ours would not do justice to the real thing. Santorini was awsome, but lots of walking and stairs, bring the right shoes.

Perfect Service and friendly staff! The fish is so fresh, we have two dinner at hotel! 100% tasty! Really recommend! And the view is also beautiful!
