Iconic and historic hotel. Famed for being one of the best in the world. I'm a photographer and have photographed weddings here in the past. The staff are excellent and venue is incredible. The Grand Ballroom is beautiful and weddings in the Authors Lounge is so elegant.

For taxis, locals refer to this hotel as "Olien-ten".

Here, the desire is read from the eyes. The food is great.
The best sushi I have ever eaten. A historic building right on the river with a large terrace. A great look. The service is exelent. The story is amazing.

World Number One Hotel is no question about it.

World Number One Hotel is no question about it.

During afternoon tea time, we were at the Verandah. Our lady left her wallet at the restroom but only realized after an hour. We went to the restroom but nothing was found. We reported to the receptions immediately. After half an hour, Lost & found delivered the wallet intact to our table.
We were grateful for whoever returned the wallet to Lost & Found.

Nice traditional hotel with a little dusty charm. We visited the Hotel for a drink during Buddah festival in july. It was not late but there where no guests and the river bar was empty. We made a tour through the lobby and decided to leave due to the missing athmoshere.

I have been here 20 years ago and was disappointed this time.

One of the top notch hotels in Bangkok and the world. It is unique in its style and represents a bit yesterday's glory. Most recognized top hotels of today are very different style tending to a much more modern design. The Mandarin Oriental though conserves their own colonial Chic interior, combined lush greens and garden and impeccable service level. That is appreciated. But it also comes with a price level. And at the value side the amazing Grand old hotel loses quite some ground to St. Regis and Co in Bangkok. Personally I bring my money to one of the other top 5 star hotels where the rooms and suites are bigger, have a better layout and provide a more homey feeling. If you are in the quest to get away from that and enjoy being transported into a different time the Mandarin Oriental is maybe the best option in Bangkok of not one in the world to do so... For a price.

How often do you come here? How to get married every time? Remember that it is probably the 3rd or 4th time that the overall atmosphere is considered to be in a luxurious and quiet way because the hotel is located in the alley. Next to Rim Chao Phraya Convenient parking There are many points that can be parked. If anyone travels, how to open Google Map before getting to get the right time to travel? Because of this area

Well. Nice, but the view from the 15 bat boat is better and above all more varied. The drink prices are absurd. Smoking and e cigarette are prohibited, even outdoors. No recommendation. For the price of a drink you could eat a night in China Town.

Sensational, multisensory, elegant, welcoming, super luxurious, comfortable, the top of the top of your international experiences ... and out of the ordinary in Thailand ... dancers will brighten up your dinner, scenographies worthy of the best theaters will accompany your entrance ... an out of the ordinary boat will take you to a wing of the restaurant ... yes the restaurant is divided into two extraordinary locations separated by the river ... where you will also find the best spa in the entire globe ... if you have bath ... then think about spending a day there ... it will remain engraved in your memories ... and you will hardly be able to replicate it elsewhere! Wonderful world !!!

We decided to celebrate our grandmother's and niece's birthday at the Mandarin Oriental.

The night started very frustrating.. we ended up taking 3 tuk-tuks that brought us to the wrong hotel..then hopping into 3 taxis..one arrived on time while one got lost and another taxi tried to over charge us at the last second.
We also realized when we got there the men were not dressed to code (shorts)..

The hotel staff were wonderful, they tried their best to accommodating us by supplying us with transportation and attire. Anh Pha was a trainee there but she was extremely professional and friendly, she made sure we were taken care of.

Unfortuately we did not get a chance to see her on the way out.. but if you see this Thank you so much!
We really appreciate the effort made by all the staff to turn our night around!

You can t have a bad day at Mandarin Oriental
Hotel even though you couldn t get a table at Authors Lounge. I went there with my friends without a reservation so we couldn t get in. We were directed to another restaurant called The Verandah . We had a good time there. Chocolate cake is so delicious.
